M & L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces, exc 50mm and n exc 100 mm deep and in area not exc 400 Sqm incl removing n exc 50 m and staking out complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with crushed stone aggregate (machine crushed) grading 2 (63 to 40mm) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne power roller all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for Prepation of un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat RS1 grade cationic emulsion @7.5 Kg/10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer over prepared surface of WBM complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat RS1 grade cationic emulsion @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer over prepared surface of black top complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Bituminous Premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen content by weight of total mix,rolled and compected to required camber and gradient complete and compacted rolled with mechanical paver of power exc 8 ton n,exc 12 ton incl required camber and gradient complete.(Note: contractor to submit batch mix report from plant for every batch before laying of SDAC. The batch mix report shall contain bitumen content in percentage by wt , aggregate percetages by wt and cement content ) Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg . (iii) The thickeness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further, it is clarified that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope & making good the undulations etc, all as directed by the GE, shall be made.

M&L for providing and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) with glass beads of specific shade /colour using hot thermoplastic materials by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic matrials applicator machine filled with profile shoe ,glass beads dispenser ,propane tank heater etc driven by exprienced on road surface including all M&L cleaningthe road surface of all dirts seals oil grease,mud,grass etc complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective/imformatory Cautionary /warning sign boards of any size and shape as directed with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet,face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of S S tabular section of standard size along with theft resistantmeasures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M&L for preparation of kerb stone over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed

NOTES: 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
