DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE FOR CLEANING OF GALLERIES, REMOVING OF SEA WEEDS, VEGETATION GROWTH AND PERIODICALS TO THE GALLERIES AT JETTY N-4 TO N-26 AT NAVAL DOCKYARD

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls, raking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for polymer modified plastering in CM 1:6 , 15mm thick on fair faces of brick / concrete surafces finished even and smooth with out using extra cement and using Nitobond SBR at the rate of 4% of weight of cement complete all as specified and as directed. . Note:- SBR shall be measured and paid separately

Material & labour for polymer modified plastering in CM 1:3, 10mm thick on fair faces of concrete surafces of ceilings finished even and smooth with out using extra cement and using Nitobond SBR at the rate of 4% of weight of cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- SBR shall be measured and paid separately

Supply only Fosroc make Nitobond SBR chemical for mixing in polymer modified plastering complete all as specified and as directed.

Periodical maintenance of cable ducts / galleries on the jetties /wharfs with required tools and plants and cleaning of debris, any other waste/garbage etc., including water accumulated in the ducts/galleries of jetties & wharfs by employing 05 Nos. of Mazdoors for 8 hours/day as per following :- a) Opening of Mild steel/RCC gallery covers of any description, size shape and placing safety cones etc., around the duct / gallery opening on jetty /wharf b) Entering in to the gallery through opeing to a depth of appx 2.7 to 3m below the jetty /wharf and collection of silt / mud / debris and other foreign materials in the gallery to the nearest manhole of gallery for lifting the same to a height of 2.7 to 3.0m by suitable means to the jettey/wharf surfaces for further disposal. c) Re-positioning of MS duct covers as required. d) Loading of garbage so collected from galleries in to transport vechicle of suitable capacity . Note: Transport vechile for disposal out side ND(V) shall be measured and paid separately.

Disposal of collected garbage from the galleries out side Naval Dock Yard on day to day basis complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the accumulated/deposited sea growth at jetty facia wall/ columns/pillars of jetties/berths above sea level and upto the level of 45 cm below the low tide by scrapping either manually or mechanical means and collecting the same on jetty/berth floor and depositing the same out side of jetty area complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for preparation of new/old plaster surface of wall and ceiling and applying two coat of white wash to ceilings and walls of gallaries of jetties includingn surface preparation. Work in compact area, entry and exit through man holes, below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat coal tar epoxy paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Periodical maintenance for removing of vegetation growth on the jetties / wharfs wall with required tools and plants and cleaning and removing the same outside of Naval Dockyard by employing 05 Nos. of Mazdoors for 8 hours / day complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE: The above items are to be executed in the galleries of the jetties (restricted work environment). The rates quoted shall be accordingly considered for all the safety gear, scaffolding, height, lead and lift in the all items.
