CERTAIN REPAIRS REPLCEMENT OF CHLORONOME PLANT SUPPLY OF CHLORINE GAS CHEMICALS ETC AT INF LINES JAMNAGAR

Repair / comprehensive maintenance of gravity feed type chloronome plants of 0-300 gms / hour capacity to ensure proper functioning and 100 % serviceability of all the plants including replacement of all unserviceable spare parts including carrying out necessary repairs as mentioned below, Items not mentioned in list but required are deemed to included in the rates for item No1 :- Notes :- (I) All spare parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only. Cost of labour is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Total chloronome plants to be maintained are 02 Nos for a period contract . A Minimum of 1 No highly skilled technician will be deployed to report and attand and carry out the maintenance / repairs of chloronome plants at Filter plant on a daily basis to ensure 100% serviceability. (iii) Cost of all essential materials which are not otherwise specified in this schedule but are required to ensure smooth functioning of the chloronome plant are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Adequate reserve for all necessary stores will be kept at the site by the contractor to avoid any delay in carrying out the repairs. (v) All T&P required to carry out the work at site will be provided by the contractor. Cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Only skilled / trained technicians will be deployed by the contractor to carry out the repairs and maintenance of chloronome plants and attand the plant on call in case of emergency . Adequate safety precautions including proper gas mask kit will be provided to the technicians by the contractor. (vii) Proper record of repairs / daily maintenance carried out and duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge / JE will be maintained. (viii) All complaints in respect of chloronome plants will be attended and rectified on a daily basis. No payment will be admissible for the days when plant not worked. For a delay of more than 48 hours by the contractor in attending / rectifying the complaints of cloronome plants, a compensation of Rs. 300 / plant per day will be recovered as a penalty for the entire period of unserviceability of the defective plant.(ix) Contractor shall visit and check the condition of plant before quoting the rate.

Supply only O Todoline for chlorine test in 500ML bottle, laboratory grade for chlorine content testing

Supply only Ammonia testing solution for leak test in 500ML bottle, laboratory grade .

Supply of liquid chlorine gas conforming to IS-646 specification by in empty cylinder of 100kg capacity including testing.

Note: i) Empty chlorine gas cylinder of capacity 100 Kgs (10 Nos) will be issued by department free for filling chlorine gas . (ii) Contractor will be responsible for any damage caused during transportation of chlorine cylinder and will make good if damaged without any extra cost to the department. (iii) Necessary arrangements will be made by the contractor so that at least five cylinder of 100 Kgs is always available as reserve with the department in phase manner as and when required as directed . (iv) Items rates deemed to be included for replacement of unserviceable cylinder valve (ISI marked), valve cap and testing as required all as required for filling of cylinders rent of cylinder. (In case issued by Department rejected by the plant authorities). (v) Items rate deemed to be included for necessary testing of chlorine cylinder before gas filling and test certificate to be produced to department. (vi) Empty cylinders shall be issued at filtration plant at Inf lines. Net quantity shall be measured and paid.

M&L for carrying out drinking water chemical and bactorigical test as per IS:10500-2012 viz,Colour HAZEN UNITS,Arsenic (as As), TurbidityNTU,Solids Dissolved (TDS)MG/L, pH value at 25 Deg c,Total Hardness (as CaCO3),Calcium(as Ca), Magnesium (as Mg),Chloride (as CI), Sulphate (as SO4),Nitrate (as NO3),Fluorides (as F), Total alkalinity, Detergents, Lead (as Pb),Sulphide (as H2S),At an NABL accredited lab and submission of test reports in 10 days time from date of collection of sample. Note :- 1. Item will be deemed to include collection and transport of samples in the manner prescribed by the lab supervised by Engr-in-Charge. 2. Lab will be got approved from the GE prior to collection of samples.3. Location and time of collection will be decided by Engr-in-Charge.NOTE:-Each Job consists of three sample of water from different location and raw /fresh/borewell water at Inf Lines Jamnagar
