PROVN OF DI/GI WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE TO CSD COMPLEX AND CSD DEPOT AT RAMGARH CANTT

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soft/loose soil including forming bottom surface to required slope /gradient for laying cables /water pipe line ,foundations, laying of cable,shafts, well,cesspits, manholes etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of not exceeding 25 cm thick after the cables & water pipe lines etc. are laid, jointed & tested and foundations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated soil not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M & L for laying plain cement concrete (1:2:4),type B-2( using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for supporting of CI/DI/GI pipes 0.60 mtr below ground level and upto 5 mtr above the ground level smooth finishing without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 100mm dia class K-9 Ductile iron (DI), pressure pipes with spigot and socket ends(for push on joints), centrifugally cast with cement mortar lining in inner side as per IS:8329/2000 (latest version) and other relevant standards and metallic zinc coating followed by a finishing layer of epoxy paint in outer side, suitable for push on joint (rubber gasket joint)with standard length , laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Rubber gasket joint ( push on joints) for spigot and socket ends will be included in unit rate quoted by bidders, not any claim entertained on this matter at later stage. (iii) DI specials where required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ.

M & L for Cast Iron fittings for spigot and socketed cast iron pipes for water mains upto 150 mm bore, such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Ductile Iron specials suitable for Ductile Iron pipe class K-9 upto 150 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brick work using old size sub class "B" bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 etc for supporting of CI/DI/GI pipes over & including 12 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & directed.

S & F cast iron sluice valve 100mm dia, with stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel complying with IS:14846-2000, class PN 1.6 both ends flanged with 2 Nos rubber insertion gasket joints, nuts, bolts and washers of required size and Nos, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonary (230mm thick wall) valve pit of size 1500mm x 1500mm x 1500mm inner dimension including necessary earth work & excavation, 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, brick wall build in cement mortar 1:6, rendering 15 mm thick with cement mortar 1:6 externally up to 15 cm below ground level and cement mortar 1:4 internally and providing mild steel sheet cover 3.0 mm thick and angle iron frame of 40 mm X 40 mm X 5mm size embedded in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surface of steel surface and welded with hings including necessary locking arrangement and Excavation & earthwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring of holes under PCC road/pavement / hard standing not less than 1200 mm deep by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique without disturbing existing road surface and necessary machine for laying of 100 mm dia of DI pipe including machine HDPE pipe of size 200mm dia suitable for 0.4mpa work in pressure complete all as specified and directed. NOTES :-Cost of equipments, tools & plants, material required for boring & HDPE pipe of size 200mm dia suitable for 0.4mpa work in pressure dia the rate shall be deemed included in unit quoted rate above , not any claim entertaind on this account at later stage.

S & F for DASMESH Woltmans type cold water flow metre flanged end class "B" size 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for GI water tubing medium grade, ISI marked, galvanised, 50 mm bore with all fittings, (such as tee, elbow, socket, union & short pieces) laid in trenches and ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified & directed.

S & F gun metal globe or gate valve of 20 mm dia with iron wheel head screwed both ends ISI marked fixed to GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ,type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations,filling & mass concrete for fencing posts, foundation of pole ,struts & stay assembly etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over grade Fe-500, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for column,, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 08 mm dia and over grade Fe -500 , as in stirrups, spacers & binders ,cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for coloumn,, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering (external) on stone masonry surfaces or on fair face of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4, finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plaster surface of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali primer including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified & as directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides of columns, pillars, piers, post and struts for rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Use & waste of form work to sides of concrete foundation, base of column ,rafts,footings, plinth beams, and plinth beam and similar work for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L reinforced cement concrete M-25 (design mix)(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in columns, pillars, piers,post and struts etc.complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement & form work will be measured & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ.
