Construction of new G plus 3 Academic building in the campus of the Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic-SITC of Fire Detection System.

Supply,Installation,Testing & Commissioning of Microprocessor based Analog Intelligent Addressable fully networkable Main Fire Alarm Panel [VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards] having suitable number of loops with 20% spare capacity with each loop loading not exceeding 80% of the full capacity of the Detectors & devices taken together complying to IS-2189 : 2008 or its latest ammendment or relevant NBC and with minimum 600 character alpha-neumeric liquid crystal display. The panel should be soft addressable type and shall be able to give pin point location of all fire/fault conditions. Furthermore the Panel must be able to automatically switch-off the respective control switches with help monitor module whenever any module is triggered. The Panel must be able to store sufficient number of log events in its Memory as per recommended standards.

The panel shall have in built rectifier, provision for external & internal Printer (if required), Loop cards, LCD unit to indicate Fire/Fault Signal with address and analog output, complete in all respects, in-built surge protection facilty, integral SMF lead acid batteries with sealed cells of 24 V with integral battery charger complete as required and capable for 24 hrs normal working and then be capable of operating the system for 1 hour during an emergency conditions as required. The FACP capable of being networked(future expansion) with other similar FACP located at different parts of the premises through single RS 485 modbus. The FACP shall have provision for interfacing with Public Address system, remote computer and BMS interface. Supply , Installation, Testing and commissioning of Microprocessor controlled Analogue Intelligent Addressable Multi sensor Detector IP42 with base[VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards] as per IS:-2189 of latest ammendment with in-built optical smoke-sensor with backward & forward scattering light angles as well as additional heat detector sensors with decentalized intelligence, in-built fault isolator as per NFPA style 7 wiring (Note:- Detecors without built-in fault isolator is also acceptable provided one independent short circuit fault isolator per detector is to be provided extra without extra cost). The Detectors should have built-in response indicator with LED indicator. The Detectors should have 360 degree optical view with single/multiple LED that blinks on actuation of detector. Reverse polarity or faulty zone wiring shall not damage the Detector. The Detector is also required to be equipped with all necessary accessories suitable for/matching with Fire Alarm panel as required. Supply,Installation,Testing & Commissioning of Addressable Heat Detector (Fixed temperature cum rate of rise) [VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards] with twist lockable removal base, built - in fault isolator as per NFPA style 7 wiring complete with base, drift compensation feature etc including connections as per specifications complete as reqd and having IP as per recommended standard. Detector shall have maximum triggering temperature programmable from 60 deg.C to 80 deg. C.,having high level of immunity to electromagnetic influances and show alarm signal limit temperature is reached. (Note : Detectors without built-in fault isolator is also acceptable but in such case the contractor shall provide one independent fault isolator module for every group of addressable devices (Numbers of addressable devices in a group will be as per latest recommended standards) without any additional cost). Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Addresable Monitor/control modules (VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards) for monitoring/controlling Flow switches/Fire Exit doors/AHU/Lift/Hooter circuit etc. with in-built short-circuit fault isolator and minimum (04) four potential free contact with adjustable setting parameter like input/output, complete in single or multiple housing with degree of protection IP-42 with flash LED indicator that conforms module is operational and integrated buzzer signalling maintenance alarm. complete as required as per direction of E.I.C (Make: Esser/ Cerberus Pro/ Bosch/ Securiton/ Siemens/ Notofire/ Jhonson Control/ Edward / Secutron/ Apollo / Morley / System Sensor as approved by E.I.C).

Supply,Installation,Testing & Commissioning of Addressable Relay Modules (VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards) for switching / integration of Lift / AHU etc. that is built up with potential free change over contact. Each of the relay contact should be Fail/Safe programmable and each contact to opearate in three condition viz. NO FIRE CONDITION / FIRE CONDITION / LOOP POWER FAILURE CONDITION complete in single or multiple housing with degree of protection IP 54 complete as required as per direction of E.I.C. (Make: Esser/ Cerberus Pro/ Bosch/ Securiton/ Siemens/ Notofire/ Jhonson Control/ Edward / Secutron/ Apollo / Morley / System Sensor as approved by E.I.C).

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of LED type Response Indicator (VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/standards) having 2 nos red coloured LED Lamps including connections etc. suitable for/matching with existing Fire Alarm Panel. (Make: Esser/ Cerberus Pro/ Bosch/ Securiton/ Siemens/ Notofire/ Jhonson Control/ Edward / Secutron/ Apollo / Morley / System Sensor as approved by E.I.C).

Supply & Laying of 2 core 1.5 Sqmm FRLS shielded round copper cable (for loop) (Make:- Finolex/Polycab/RR Kabel/Havells) through 20 mm dia PVC FR type rigid conduit pipe incl. S & Laying 20 mm PVC rigid Pipe. (Make:- Precesion/ AKG/ Universal/ Polycab/ BEC/ VIP/ Atul) with necessary fixing arrangements on the surface of the wall.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

a.The Fire Alarm system shall comply with latest requirements of -- 1. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. 2. IS 2189 3. NFPA 70 National Electric Code 4. NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm Code 5. local Statutory Regulations 6. Manufacturer Recommendation.

b. TESTS:1.The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent,trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system. 2. Before energizing the cables and wires, check for correct connections and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per above standards must be done.

c. Auto CAD Drawing of whole FDA system & submission of 5 set hard copy of drawing and soft copy (in Auto-CAD format) is to be submitted.

d. The Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them.

e. Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/submission of bill.

f. If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules. (Rates should be inclusive of all taxes & duties)
