Portability Test of water samples:

Portability Test of water samples::-Portability Test of water samples: Portability test of water samples is to be carried out for samples collected from the incoming point and from the tank after cleaning. Sample analysis certificate for portability test should be from the Municipal Analyst of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and shall be submitted within 15 days from date of collection of water samples. The contractor should arrange new/disinfections bottles for testing of portability/ microbiological testing of water samples. (Rates are inclusive of cost bottles)

Painting Work

Removing of paint & Rust:-Removing of enamel paints, water proofing cement paint, rust and the like by scrapping, wire brushing and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Red oxide Primer:-Providing and applying ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/steel tanks

Light blue enamel painting:-Providing and applying synthetic light blue enamel paint/flat oil paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour( Sherwin-williams, or Asian Paint/ Nerolac/Berger or equivalent as approved by MDL) to give an even shade for steel tank surface. Two or more coats

Repair works

Scaffolding:-Providing and erecting bamboo's double scaffolding upto Ten story height/40mt and width and strength by sides of building for platform to enable departmental workmen to carry out repairs to building at any level from ground to any floor height as directed including removing the same and clearing the site. ( The rate for this item will be applicable for work beyond 10 m height for building / shed / workshop since all the items of work are inclusive of scaffolding upto 10 M height) including suitable safety nets and covering.

Exposing existing old and worn out RCC:-Exposing existing old and worn out RCC column, beams and slabs etc upto main reinforcement carefully by means of chisel and hammer including necessary scaffolding including carting away the material outside MDL premises to the municipal dumping ground etc complete as directed. (Surface area exposed after final chipping chiseling etc shall only be measured and paid for)

Removing existing corrosion in MS/ steel:-Removing existing corrosion in MS/ torsteel bars by means of suitable light tapping wire brushing and applying rust removal "Feovert" of Krishna conchem or equivalent approved make etc complete

Priming cum bonding coat of polymer:-Providing and applying a priming cum bonding coat of polymer of Krishna Conchem or equivalent approved make and cement slurry in ratio 1:1 by weight to concrete area by brush all complete. (Cement 0.005 Bag / Sq.M)

Polymer Modified Crack filler:-Providing and appying Polymer Modified Crack filler of Dr. Fixit/ Sunanda Conchem /Krishna Conchem or equivalent approved make including surface preparation like chiseling the existing cracks to form a V groove, cleaning the groove to remove all loose materials and washing with water before applying the crack filler at any height/location etc all complete as directed.

POLYMER MODIFIED MORTAR(PMM):-Providing and applying POLYMER MODIFIED MORTAR(PMM) in proportion of 1(Polymer) : 5(Cement) : 15 (Quartz sand) by weight with water cement ratio of 0.35 including application of bond coat of Krishna Conchem or equivalent approved make using brush in ratio of 1 (Polymer) :1 (Cement) : 0.35 (water) by weight including cleaning of surface with air mixed with water under pressure, and subsequent layer up to 10mm after hardening curing; all complete.(Polymer manufactured by Sunanda, Pidilite, Fosroc, Acro-chem, Build core or equivalent)
