Construction of cast-in-situ RCC bored piles using rotary drilling method as per IS 2911 (Part-I, section-2) latest revision using concrete of M-30 grade with minimum cement content of 400 kg/cum of concrete, including cost of all materials, labour, use of plant and machinery, casting of pile to plumb, rectifying defects if any, including empty boring if any, breaking pile heads, dewatering, bore hole stabilization using temporary casting/ bentonite, disposal of the excavated muck/ bentonite slurry, broken pile heads to suitable dumping area as approved by statutory authority outside the VECC, Rajarhat Campus including all lead by mechanical transport etc. (but excluding the cost of steel reinforcement which shall be paid under relevant item), all as per drawing and specification etc., complete & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contractor shall obtain prior approval of RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. 500 mm dia piles
Carrying out Routine pile load test for 500 mm dia pile for 80 MT working capacity for vertical load, using Maintained load method as per IS:2911 (Part-4), Latest Revision using hydraulic jack & dial gauges including all supporting arrangement, kentledge, it's transport, loading, unloading, preparation of pile head or constrcution of test cap and dismantling of test cap after test etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i) Hydraulic jack and dial gauges shall be got tested and calibrated from NABL approved lab before use on works. ii) Agency shall submit the design of loading platform before test for approval of EIC. iii) Pile load test shall not be carried out by dynamic method of testing. iv) Rate should include cost of preparing and submitting the detailed test report to the EIC incorporating all the parameters required for confirming ultimate/safe load carrying capacity of pile
Routine Load Test, for Single pile of 500 mm dia pile for 80 MT working capacity, Test load 1.5 times the safe capacity.
Carrying out routine pile load test for 500 mm dia pile for : Lateral load testing of single pile with free pile head for 1.65 MT working capacity of pile, in accordance with IS:2911 (Part-4), Latest Revision for determining safe allowable lateral load on pile etc. complete as per drawing, as per technical specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing 150mm thick flat brick soling in two layers with well burnt brick of approved quality soling bricks at all locations of subbase to floor and plinth protection and below foundation laid flat to required level, gradient slope etc. including binding with locally available fine sand including watering and pointing with cement mortar 1:6 finishing curing etc.complete as shown in drawing and as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying in position, at all floors and at all levels & locations plain cement concrete of grade as specified below using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including machine mixing, consolidation, finishing, curing and including cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by EIC. (Note:- Reinforcement provided if any shall be measured & paid under relevant item.)

Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS:4926 (Latest revision) in lieu of site batch mix RCC items, supplied by approved RMC manufacturers including transportation, pumping etc.complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC. Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work in foundation i.e in pile caps, plinth, tie beams, lift pits, cable trenches/pit etc. including single / multiple staging at all floors, level & locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural / R C C elements and including rails, bracings, props, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all floors, locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.)
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D / Fe-550 D, manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL, JSW, JSPL and RINL only.
Brick masonry work in foundation, plinth, cable pits, trenches, steps using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 7.5 (classification as per IS:1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 7.5 N/mm2, as specified) in cement mortar 1: 4 using ready mix mortar to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. Refer to Additional Notes.
Cement plastering work using cement sand mortar and finished thickness as specified below without neat cement punning, at all floors, levels & locations, in single/ double coat (as specified) over concrete/ masonry surface including surfaces preparation, even & smooth surface in correct line, level, plane, plumb and including scaffolding, curing etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.
15 mm thick Using ready mix cement mortar having Cement : Sand (1:4).
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials beyond initial lead by mechanical transport to the near by Local Municipal Authority approved dumping pits/ dumping area outside colony including all leads, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, spreading, levelling etc. complete as per drawings, specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge. The disposal shall be as per latest guidelines of Construction & Demolition waste management plan as approved by Local Municipal Authority. Royalty for transportation, disposal of Rock, spreading etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor. Note: Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft rock/ hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment in case direct measurement is not possible.
Supplying and spreading pesticides chlorpyriphos or other chemical approved by central insecticides board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti-termite treatment at the rate of 7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by the manufacturer) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150 mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II. (The payment will be made on the basis of plinth area measurement only at ground floor/ stilt area for all stages of operation and vertical face will not be measured for payment) all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Providing and laying damp proof course 38 mm thick at plinth level in cement concrete 1:2:4 using 10 mm. maximum size and down graded stone aggregate, mixed with approved waterproofing compound at 2% by weight of cement laid to levels, slopes etc. including applying a coat of hot bitumen of (grade 80/100) / (VG-10) at 17 kg./10 sq.m. including cost of form work, curing all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.

PART I-E : MASONARY WORK Note: 1) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks / AAC block from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. 2) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ pipe sleeves/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. 3) One masonry wall thickness shall be considered as 230/250 mm and half brick wall as 115/125 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in cement mortar 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. 4) The rate shall include cost of making brick / AAC block masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.

Half Brick masonry in super structure at all floors, levels and locations, partition walls, dwarf walls, cupboard walls, parapets, under platforms, curtain walls, fins, external boxing etc using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 7.5 (classification as per IS:1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 7.5 N/mm2) in cement mortar of 1:4 using ready mix mortar, to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge.
With providing 125 mm wide & 80 mm thick RCC (1:2:4) stiffeners at every one metre height including cost of concrete & formwork but excluding the cost of steel reinforcement, which shall be paid under relevant item.

Providing & laying at all floors & locations Homogeneous Full body Vitrified tile/ Glazed vitrified tile/ Anti Skid Vitrified tile Vitrified tile double charge/ multi charge (Glossy/Matt/Satin)/ approved manufacturers of sizes 600mm X 600mm / 800mm X 800mm / 1000mm X 1000mm size or as per approved size and having minimum thickness 8.5 mm or as specified by approved manufacturer tiles conforming to IS:15622 having water absorption less than or equal to 0.08% (Group B I a), in flooring/skirting/ dado/ cladding / staircase tread/ riser at all floors and location, heights/ levels and lead in approved pattern and colour, shade laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing/ adhesive backing, including cleaning and preparing the surface for bedding/backing, spreading the neat cement slurry, close jointed and grouted with matching coloured readymade cement grout and approved pigment as per manufacturer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings/ cut out if necessary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily.
In flooring using Homogeneous Full body vitrified tile of size 600 mm X 600 mm laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar1:4 bedding (using reday mix mortar) and spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum cement about 2 kg/sqm prior to bedding and spreading cement paste using minimum cement of about 4.50 kg/sqm over bedding,
In skirting using using Homogeneous Full body vitrified tile of size 600 mm X 600 mm laid over 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 backing.
Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M20 grade for flooring of 200mm thick using ready mixed concrete from batching plant, using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size including compaction & finishing with screed board vibrator, using vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush, including steel form work with sturdy M-S channel sections including curing and providing and filling construction joints and dummy joints with approved joint filler primer or equivalent including rounding of the edges and filling the grooves 10 x 25 mm deep at top for construction joints and 10 mm x 50 mm deep at top for dummy joints with joint sealing compound including making necessary arrangements for expansion joints and including providing and mixing hardening compound of approved quality as per manufacturer's specification in cement concrete etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying first quality matt finished / anti skid ceramic tile in flooring and water repellant ceramic tile in dado/cladding of 6 mm minimum thickness or as per specification of approved manufacturer and conforming to IS:15622 and approved colour, shade, design, pattern in cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings /cutout if necessary, wastage and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note: The sizes of tiles mentioned are approximate and subject to the availability required size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly.
In Flooring with 300 mm X 300 mm or approved size anti skid ceramic tile laid over 20mm thick cement mortar bedding1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) using reday mix mortar.

Double glazed fixed panel, double glazed openable panels, single glazed fixed panel, single glazed openable panels, shadow boxes and sunshade louvers shall be measured under relevant item.

Providing & fixing aluminium frame work with Structural analysis & design and preparation of shop drawings for the specified design loads conforming to IS 875 part III (the system must passed the proof test at 1.5 times design wind pressure without any failure), including functional design of the aluminum sections for fixing glazing panels of various thicknesses, aluminium cleats, sleeves and splice plates etc. gaskets, screws, toggles, nuts, bolts, clamps etc., structural and weather silicone sealants, flashings, fire stop (barrier) cum-smoke seals, microwave cured EPDM gaskets for water tightness, pressure equalisation & drainage and protection against fire hazard including: 2. Fabricating, supplying & fixing MS hot dip galvanised / Aluminium alloy brackets of required sizes, sections and profiles etc to accommodate 3 dimentional movement for achieving perfect verticality and fixing structural glazing system rigidly to the RCC/ masonry/structural steel framework of building structure using stainless steel anchor fasteners/ bolts, nylon seperator to prevent bimetallic contacts with nuts and washers etc. of stainless steel grade 316, of the required capacity and in required numbers.

Providing and filling, two part pump filled, structural silicone sealant and one part weather silicone sealant compatible with the structural silicone sealant of required bite size in a clean and controlled factory / work shop environment, including double sided spacer tape, setting blocks and backer rod, all of approved grade, brand and manufacture, as per the approved sealant design, within and all around the perimeter for holding glass. 4. Providing and fixing in position flashings of solid aluminium sheet 1 mm thick and of sizes, shapes and profiles, as required as per the site conditions, to seal the gap between the building structure and all its interfaces with curtain glazing to make it watertight.
5. Making provision for drainage of moisture/ water that enters the glazing system to make it watertight, by incorporating principles of pressure equalization, providing suitable gutter profiles at bottom (if required), making necessary holes of required sizes and of required numbers etc. complete. This item includes cost of all inputs of designing, labour for fabricating and installation of aluminium grid, T&P, scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages etc., enabling temporary structures and services, cranes or cradles etc. as described above and as specified. The item includes the cost of the structural and functional design including shop drawings. The item also includes the cost of all mock ups at site, cost of all samples of the individual components for testing in an approved laboratory, field tests on the assembled working structural glazing as specified, cleaning and protection till the handing over of the building for occupation. PART I-I : PLASTERING WORK Notes: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
Cement plastering work using cement sand mortar and finished thickness as specified below without neat cement punning, at all floors, levels & locations, in single coat (as specified) over concrete/ masonry surface including surfaces preparation, even & smooth surface in correct line, level, plane, plumb and including scaffolding, curing etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing & applying acrylic emulsion (plastic) paint for internal plastered surfaces in two or more coats on new surfaces at all floors, levels & location using ready mixed & ready made acrylic emulsion paint of approved make and shade including one coat of approved cement / acrylic primer (water thinnable) including labour, material, scaffolding, surface preparation, cleaning etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Acrylic emulsion shall have VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre)
Providing & applying exterior grade 100% acrylic emulsion paint for external surfaces (plastered / concrete) in two or more coats on new surfaces at all floors, levels & location using ready mixed & ready made acrylic emulsion paint of approved make, shade and pattern including one coat of approved acrylic based water repellent primer including labour, material, scaffolding, surface preparation, cleaning etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Providing & laying UPVC under ground drainage pipes & Fittings of Approved make for storm water drains & Sewer lines of following size conforming to IS:15328 to proper level & grade, jointing including providing coupler with solvent cement / welded joints / as per manufacturer's requirement, encasing the pipe alround using cement concrete 1:3:6 complete if required all as per specifictions, drawing and as directed by the E.I.C. item includes Providing and fixing UPVC fittings such as Bendes, Tees & Y, Reducers, Blanking Plugs, Couplers, Adaptors etc For Sewer line and Storm water Drains NOTE:- Cement concrete for encasing shall be paid under relevant item.

Constructing fly ash / AAC /kiln burnt clay brick masonry Inspection chambers of internal sizes 900 X 600mm at bottom and 900 X 450mm at top for an initial depth of 600mm consisting following items of work. i) 230 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:2 over 150 mm thick bed in cement concrete of grade 1:2:4 with 150 mm offset all-around, tapering of longitudinal walls starting from the height of 450 mm from the top of chamber frame & cover and tapering of longitudinal walls ending at the height of 200 mm from the top of frame & Cover to obtain an internal dimensionof 900 X 450mm at 200 mm from top of chamber. ii) 20 mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:1 mixed with water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces and top finished with a floating coat of neat cement. iii) Making benching and haunching in cement concrete of grade 1:2:4 and finishing with floating coat of neat cement. iv) Fixing frame and cover at top using cement concrete of grade 1:2:4 (for bed block / bearing course and capping) and cast iron steps / foot rests, all as per specification and as directed by Engineer in charge. Extra over above item no. 203.061 for additional depth of inspection chamber beyond 600 mm initial depth & upto a depth of 1800 mm. all as per specification and as directed.
Providing and fixing copolymer polypropylene steel reinforced plastic Foot-rests / Steps of approved brand or eq. as per ASTM D - 4101 specification and moulded a 12 mm dia. IS - 1786 grade Fe - 415 steel reinforcing bar and in "U" shape having dimensions 263 x 168 mm and fixing in concrete / wall as shown in the drawing and as directed all complete.
Supplying and fixing circular / rectangular Ductile Iron frame and cover consisting following items of work :- i) Supplying single / double seal cast iron LD/MD/HD/EHD (Light duty / medium duty / heavy duty / extra heavy duty ) circular / squar / rectangular frame and cover / grating of loading class as per IS:1726 or EN 124 of approved make including transportation. ii) Fixing the frame to correct level and alignment in cement concrete 1:2:4 for bearing course and capping, including form work, finishing, curing etc. all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the EIC. iii) Plastering the exposed faces of bearing course and capping in cement mortar 1:2, 15 mm thick with a floating coat of neat cement including finishing, curing etc. all complete. iv) Painting the frame and cover with two coats of anticorrossive black bitumastic paint of approved make and shade over a coat of primer.
Manhole cover/grating and frame HD20 loading class, Rectangular size 900 mmx 450 mm, Square size 450 mm x 450mm.
Making connection with the existing inspection / chamber manhole including breaking the brick masonry wall, finishing with cement mortar/cement concrete after making the connection, disposing off the debris, etc all complete as directed by Engineer-Incharge.
