Draining out used lub oil from the DG set engine cleaning of chamber and supply and filling of new multigrade engine oil for the DG sets of various capacities installed under GE (Army) Trivandrum all as specified and directed. NOTE: Flushing out sludge accumulated in the oil chamber to be done properly before filling the new oil. Make: Cat No. 82.050.10.0.20 of Koel care super genuine oil

M&L for carrying out scheduled maintenance service of the DG sets of 160 KVA through manufacturer service engineer complete including replacement of elements of fuel filters, engine oil filters and air filter with gaskets checking the engine for any leakages adjusting engine belt tension topping up radiater coolent etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: Engine oil/coolent required for servicing the DG set will be measured and paid seperatly under relenvant items of the schedule.

Draining out completely radiator coolant of different capacity of DG sets by loosen drain plug and then tighten the drain plug, slowly feed coolant of superior grade into the radiator through the filler until radiator is full, squeeze the upper radiator hose 2/3 times after coolant reaches the filler neck, close the radiator cap, testing after refilling complete. NOTE: Use LEYPOWER Coolant 5000 pre mixed coolant. No need to add water. Make: Castrol/Servo

M&L for preparation of painted surfaces of the acquistic enclosure/DG sets of capacity 160 KVA DG set by scraping and removing rust and other objects and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour by spray painting over a coat of zinc chrome primer and marking SM/MES Nos and repairing and greasing door hinges and locks all as specified and directed.

Supply & spread loose filling with river sand inside the FOL store, cable duct in DG set room etc not exceeding 150mm thick layer including removing the old sand to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr from the starting point complete all as directed

M&L for Earthing complete in replacement with copper earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 3.15mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to glavanised earth lead of copper strip of size 20mm x 3mm by means of GI Bolts, Nuts, check nuts and washers of the earth and thimbles and other end of the earth strip connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 40mm dia from earth plate to Panel and DG set and water pipe 20mm dia GI medium grade raised upto a level of 50cm above ground level with plug at top, earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 RCC pre-cast (1:2:4 type B-1) cover slab of 50 mm thick using 8.00mm dia CTD bars reinforcement both ways at 140 mm centre to centre with two handles, 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering pipe, wire mesh, funnel and providing charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers of 15 cm including necessary earth work in soft/loose soil, returning, refilling and removing of surplus soil to a distance not of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 exceeding 50 mtr testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No-3 including removing old one from site of work complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (a) Earthing shall be provided as per IS:3043-1987. (b) Earthing shall be carried out 7.5 mtr apart from the building. (c) Rate for copper strip upto test point included in the quoted rate.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, as required 20 x 3mm copper strip including removing the old unserviceable one complete all as directed.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m laid infront of LT panel & DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling the old/detoriated battery terminal cables, supply and fixing new appropriate size battery terminal cable including hose clips, apply petroleum jelly on battery terminals, tighten the terminals and testing complete all as directed

Supply and install in replacement of on load change over switch 415 volt AC, 50Hz in sheet steel enclosure, 4 pole of capacity 63 Amps, confirming to IEC-947-3 staggered terminals, site convertible fuse version, interchangeable dual shaft position with site convertibility, to be provided into existing panel including dismantling of old unsv one and making electrical connections new one complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
