Phase II Tests shall be 72 hours continuous running tests and shall be carried out when the extreme summer, monsoon and winter conditions in presence of the GE and Officer detailed by the Accepting Officer, within the 12 months period following phase-I test. The artificial load for phase I and phase II shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven generating set alongwith acoustic enclosure 415V, AC, 3 phase 4 wire 50Hz having capacity 320KVA including PCC platform as recommended by the manufacturer automatic on mains failure (AMF) type 0.8 power factor 50 Hz 1500 RPM self excited, self regulate brushless AC generator suitable for ambient conditions complete with relay panel, for automatic starting on main failure control panel and confirming to IS with the following for DG set complete with acoustic enclosure.

(A) ALTERNATOR : Standard design alternator rated at 320 KVA net output at site after considering de-rating as per site conditions at power factor 0.8, AC 3, phase 4 wire, 415 volts, 50 cycles, 1500 RPM self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 brushless design with hub and shield / roller bearing with winding in each face insulating class 'H' band of voltage regulation ± 5% of rated voltage from no load to full load the alternator shall be in position to generate supply with frequency / regulation within ± 1% tolerance.

(B) DIESEL ENGINE Adequate capacity diesel engine (not less than 400HP) Water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditions generating and reducing power consumed by accessories. Directly coupled through flexible coupling , multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM as per with on overload capacity of 10% one hour in a day 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operations. (B1) RETROFIT EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE (RECD) Suitable capacity RECD shall be supplied, fixed, commissioned and tested by contractor alongwith all required items for its satisfactory working. This device should control DG set emissions such as Oxides of Nitrogen, Hydrocarbon, Carbon Monoxide, Particulate Matter and smoke within limits as prescribed by CPCB. Necessary testing arrangement shall be provided by contractor at his own cost.

(C ) CONTROL PANEL (CONTROLLER) It shall be microprocessor based, integrated with AMF panel, graphical LCD display. Monitoring features:- Phase Voltages & Currents, Frequency, Reverse power, Genset kVA, kW, kWh, kVAr, Power Factor, Canopy Temperature, Lube oil Pressure, Engine Temperature, RPM, Run Hours,Number of starts, Fuel Level, Auto / Manual Stop, Battery charge condition. Diagnostic features:- Battery charging failure, Over/Under speed, Over Current , Over / Under Voltage, Over kW, Phase Seq., Phase missing, Mains Under voltage, Earth Fault trip, Fuel usage Alarm, Low lube oil Pressure, High E n g i n e Te m p e r a t u r e , Low/High battery voltage, Low Fuel Level, Over Crank protection , Routine maintenance indicator, Gen set Test Facility, Mains Frequency.

(D) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE Noise level less than 75dBA, Ease of Access and Serviceability, Aesthetically designed, weather and sound resistant enclosure, Insulation conforms to UL94-HF1 class for flammability, shall be provided with Anti Vibration Pads

(E ) AMF PANEL :- AMF (Auto on Mains Failure) panel, Kiosk type outdoor, weather and vermin proof factory made cubicle made out of CRCA sheet 3.15mm thick front and rear opening of 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire AC 50 cycles having bus bar capacity suitable to carry current of 110% full load 320 KVA DG set generation complete with following items:- MCCB TP 500A, 50KA Qty-02 Nos, Contactor 500A, 3P Qty-02 Nos, Aluminium bus bars (R,Y,B,N) of suitable rating, relay, AMF logic controller, battery charger, Single phase preventor, Auto/manual switch, Start, Stop push button, Volt meter, Ammeter, KWH Meter, RYB indicators, Load on DG Indiacator, Load on Mains indicator, protection gears etc. Any item other than above but required for Automatic operation, protection of life and components shall be provided by contractor without additional cost.

AMF Functioning Starting the DG set when there is a failure of main supply / single phasing or when the voltage is lower /higher than the pre set value or where there is failure of one / two phases. Transferring the load to the DG set from the mains. Transferring the load back to the mains when healthy mains supply is restored and stoppage of DG set. NOTE : The above functions shall be carried out automatically without human intervention.

(F) CIVIL WORKS All civil works related to foundation installation of panel and equipments including making good of existing structure if disturbed during installation and commissioning of GEN SET, (Total depth of foundation shall be minimum 300mm with anti vibration pads).

(G) TESTING (i) Necessary testing equipment and heater load for testing before handing over the work (Phase -I & Phase -II tests) shall be carried out by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the accepting officer or any person authorized by him and the satisfactory results shall be kept in MES records duly signed by the contractor, Engineer-in-Charge and testing officer. (ii) Phase -I test will be performed for 1 hour without load after completion of installation by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Phase-II test will be performed for 12 hours by the rep of Accepting Officer. (iv) DHPP (Diesel) required for Phase-I and Phase-II testing shall be supplied by contractor on his own cost.

External Water Supply : Material & labour for cutting of existing bituminous road / hard standing upto 15cm depth for laying of pipe & making good to the disturbed surfaces by providing PCC or same material after laying of pipe and returning filling of soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid under relevant items.

Construction of valve chamber having inner dimension 600 x 600 x 600 mm (suitable for gate valve upto 50mm) with PCC 1:4:8 type D2 for foundation, brick work wall in cement mortar (1:4), PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping, rendering plaster in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of MS Sheet top cover 3 mm thick with brazing of MS flat of size 25 mm x 4 mm at edges and in diagonal and angle iron base frame of 40 x 40 x 5 mm, painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on iron surfaces, lime wash on internal and external cement surfaces and locking arrangements necessary excavation earth work complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting existing iron pipe in position and inserting new GI TEE of 50x50x50 mm dimension complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid under relevant items.

Internal Water Supply : Supply and fix 15mm bore 2 way bib tap brass chromium plated fancy type with wall flange complete all as specified and as directed.

Internal Electric Supply : Supply and fix vertical TPN distrubtion board IP43 6way suitable for MCCB triple pole as incommer complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Incomming MCCB and outgoing MCB's will be measured and paid separately.
