Design and construction of following buildings/ structures based on the line drawings, Geo-technical data's, ground data's, Design Base Report, Particular specifications, Schedule "A" notes and other provisions & conditions given in tender documents including duly commissioning, testing internal B/R & E/M services as specified, comprising vetting and certification from any IIT for all the structural drawings, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Suspended slab over land area (Area 296.60 X 11.80=3499.88 Sqm), finished level +4.30m CD with permanent specifications including Preparatory works, piles with liner, pile caps, foundations, all other items of works required for completion of work. This slab shall be designed as sub structure/base to below mentioned items i.e item no. 1.02 to 1.09 and the end row piles of suspended slab area towards VPT side shall be utilised to support the security wall (item no. 1.10) to be constructed between VPT and IN-ICG jetty area.
Sea water Pump house consisting of RCC framed single storey building with plinth area of 80Sqm (10.00 x 8.00mtrs) with permanent specifications. Building to be constructed over the suspended slab (item No. 1.01 above). Pile foundation of suspended slab on land side area to be utilised as foundation for this building.
Fresh water Pump house consisting of RCC framed single storey building with plinth area of 120Sqm (15.00 x 8.00mtrs) with permanent specifications. Sub station and utility building consisting of RCC framed, four storey building (G+3 upper floors) as in ground floor sub station with plinth area of 368.80Sqm (46.10 x 8.00mtrs) and as in first to third floors as utility building with plinth area of 368.80Sqm for each floor with total area for 3 floors as 1106.40 Sqm (3 x 46.10 x 8.00mtr) with permanent specifications. Shed for equipment parking consisting of RCC framed single storey building with plinth area of 240.00Sqm (30.00 x 8.00mtrs) with permanent specifications. In balance areas where suspended slab is not being constructed, one row of piles as foundation of compound wall has to be done. superstructure of security wall at all locations remains same.
Road and moorum filling with permanent specifications i.e bituminous black top, road marking with retro reflective road marking paint, cat eyes etc. in areas other than suspended slab portion by developing the existing ground level upto +4.30m CD level with raising of existing RCC diaphragm walls, moorum filling, sub base, sub grade etc., at areas shown in site plan Notes:- (a) Road area = 2x7.5x11.8= 177sqm, width of road is 7.50m (b) The balance land area other than road/ suspended slab to be built up with moorum filling upto +4.30m CD levels as shown in site plan.
RCC Septic tank for 100 users in any type of soil with permanent specification including Preparatory works, piles with liner, pile caps, walls, base slab, baffle walls and roof slab including beams with vent shaft, manhole openings with cover connection etc with effective depth of 1.5 meter and overall depth of 3 meter complete. Note: Foundation of suspended slab can also used for this septic tank without any deviations.
RCC hume pipe Septic tank for 10 users in any type of soil with permanent specification including Preparatory works, base slab, baffle walls with vent shaft, manhole openings with cover connection etc complete.
RR masonry soak well of size 3.00mtr internal dia and 3.00mtr effective depth in any type of soil with permanent specification including Preparatory works, piles with liner, pile caps, base slab, RR masonry wall, filling brick bats etc complete. Note: Foundation of suspended slab can also used for this soak well without any deviations.

Notes (Contd..,):- (v) The soil data for adjoining area is considered and included in this tender. The same is for guidance purpose only and the contractor shall also carry out the required soil investigation before finalising design of buildings and structures. (vi) Necessary soil investigation, GPR survey or any other suitable geotechnical investigation methods are to be conducted by bidder to identify hidden sub soil structures existing in land side and design for new building/ structures are to be done accordingly duly ensuring stability of existing shore protection structures. Necessary NDT/ destructive testing for existing land side structures/ shore protection shall also be carried out and the structural soundness and stability of the same and compatibility of new designs with the old existing structures shall be certified by IIT. Cost shall be deemed to included in the unit rates quoted by the bidder and no extra claim shall be admissible on this account (vi) The lay out of buildings is tentative and for guidance purpose only. The contractor may change the architectural plan suitably to accommodate all the requirements in consultation with DGNP(V) and users. Keeping the overall plinth area of the building is same. (vii) While quoting these rates, please refer clause no. 43.1 of schedule "A" notes of this tender document for variations in detailed abstracts submitted by contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid on this ground.
