Cable connection to be disconnected from the motor terminal

Taking out the L.T. sq. cage Induction Motor after disconnections of supply terminal connections including earthing terminal connection, from coupling end of vertical axial flow propeller pump after dismantling the same from the motor stool. The motor is to be kept on wooden sleeper at a suitable distance from the floor without damaging the earthing strips and cables etc. as per direction of E.I.C.

Preliminary checking of the whole motor (LT sq. cage IM) and testing of I.R. value, load currents, leakage factor of stator & rotor, terminal lead joints of stator connection ends, insulation of glass fibre terminal bar, double cage rotor end rings and all of motor bars and bar joints, housing of D.E. & NDE shield bearing housing etc. before work to detect fault.

Machine to be dismantled and rotor to be taken out from stator. The allied components are to be placed on the wooden block in a workable position.

Stator winding to be stripped completely.Stator core to be cleaned washed & dressed by proper way using CTC detergent. A light coat varnish to be applied on the stator core after complete dressing and proper baking.

New coil to be formed as per original size and dimension with new super enameled copper conductor insulating class F insulation ( 155°C ) after removing the total old and damaged winding from the stator core .

Entire stator winding to be baked and varnished by using Dr. Beck's makes varnish. Thereafter, final coating of varnish to be applied for anti-coated moisture protecting tropical paint (Dr. Beck's paint).

Rotor to be overhauled and varnished with Dr. Beck's make Bectol Red varnish.

Damage six nos motor lead are to be replaced with new leads and insulation to be done properly including supplying & fixing of copper socket of existing specification

Supplying , fitting & fixing the space heater for the above motor

Supply of new bearing D.E side Bearing no 310

Supply of new bearing NDE side Bearing no 208

Driving end Housing Under cut of damaged DE side bearing housing portion, metal deposition on die under cut surface, machining, turning & polishing with proper tolerance according to the size of bearing outer. Work should be completed in all respects up to the satisfaction of E.I.C.

Driving end shaft Journal Under cut of damaged DE side bearing journal portion, metal deposition on the under cut surface, machining, turning & polishing with proper tolerance according to the size of bearing bore. Work should be completed in al| respects up to the satisfaction of E.I.C.

Replacemant of damage bearing oil chamber as per existing specification including supply of bearing oil as per existing specification.

Fixing both bearings (DE &NDE) carefully by using proper instruments in proper place.

Dynamic Balancing Trueness check ing & dynamic balancing of rotor.

Supply & fixing of spare contact kit for ML 4 type power contractors (L&T make)

Supply and fixing of LT panel accessories of approved make in existing LT panel including connections etc. as required as per specification. Supply of 3Ph LED Ammeter Cl 0.5

After completion of the above work the motor to be re-assembled with stator, rotor and other necessary parts after painting the inner parts.

Following test to be carried out of the motor by the party in presence of EIC.i) Resistance test ii) Inductance test iii) Polarity test iv) IR test v) HV test.

The above motor to be transported form the party's work shop to pump house including loading unloading at site with the help of special rigging arrangement .

Motor to be re-fixed on its original position and cable connection to be made. No load running test to be carried out of the motor.

Spray painting of outside surface of the motor with one coat red oxide primer & two coat of synthetic enameled make after proper cleaning of the said motor.

Manufacturing & supply of special type Fiber glass Re-inforcement plstic FRP size 450x50x50 mm including making of drilled holes of dia 10mm x 10 nos and necessary fixing in the motor terminal end with required size of S.S nut bolt & washer as required.

Final running test to be done of full load after re-fixed the coupling bolts and alignment properly with the pump.
