Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling or wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels shown as per the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in according to the MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts of material in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 409.50 cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him to the extent of damage occurred in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site obtained from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures or other sources, graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor–Grader in successive layers of 200mm (two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 of MORD technical specificationsection 300 and 1600 and as per the entire satisfactions and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as Retaining walls, Breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.OR.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials up to any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface is layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) up to any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 (one cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size) for plain cement concrete in all heights/depths, on ground or under water, including pumping or bailing out water/dewatering (surface and sub-soil water) and removal of the slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete, for all heights/depths and any quantum of water, including cost of form work and curing complete in all type of structures like Retaining Walls & Breast Walls etcetera complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials up to all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Royality, Malkana, Octroi, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment Retaining wall/Breast wall, Wing walls and the like with approved granular materials complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 1200 and 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (One Hundred millimeter) diamere PVC pipe Weep Holes in brick masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutments, wing wall/ return wall, retaining walls and breast walls etcetra, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of IV:20H (One vertical : twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 700 and 1200 and as per the directions and entire satisfactions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying (to level or slope) 900mm dia (Nine hundred millimetre) diametre reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes IS Class NP-3 for culverts on first class bedding type-A concrete craddle bedding M-15 (Fifteen) grade in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (One cement isto two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, bedding concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1100 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Providing laying, spreading by mechanically means 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, crushed stone aggregates of Grading-II, 63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimeter to forty five millimeter) nominal size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using templates, hand packing rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming with stone screening Type-B of size 11.2mm (Eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 (zero point two zero) cubic meter per 10 Sqm. (ten square metre) and binding material at the rate 0.06cum (Zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing laying, spreading by mechanically means 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, stone aggregates of Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimetre) size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, using template, hand packing motor grader, rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.18cum (zero point one eight cubic metre) per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density for grading-III as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer with bitumen emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.85 kg (zero point eight five kilogram) per square metre wing mechanical means as per MORD Technical specification section 500 as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS-I, including cleaning the road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying with emulsion pressure distributor at the rate 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogram) per square meter on the prepared granular surface treated with primer complete as per MORD Technical specification section 500, and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) thickness, composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero point two seven cubic meter) premixed with bitumen binder VG-Grade-10 (Ten) at the rate of 14.6 kgs (fourteen point six kilogram) per 10 (ten) square metre , laid to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing coarse on a previously prepared base including mixing in hot mix plant of 30/40 (thirty/forty) tonne per hour capacity, laying with paver finisher with sensor attachment and rolling with three wheeled 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller finished to required level and grades complete as per MORD Technical specification section 500 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
