Dismantling and opening of spare parts for servicing of water cooled DG set of following capacity coupled with alternator, Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically, including cleaning, oiling /greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts,i.e diesel filter /oil filter /Air filter /fan belt /fuel pipe/ engine oil pipe /Engine Oil/distilled water etc as required at site and as per manufacturer's instructions and checking of valves & nozzles etc, reassembling the parts of DG set at position ensuring proper alignment connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned in Note here in below) Notes:-(i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (iii) Fresh engine oil for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ . Its cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item.

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of 100 to 300 ltr capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank of and disposal of sludge at a distance not exceeding 100 metre and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , replacement of fuel tank strainer and unserviceable fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicator fixed with clips to the tank and marking levels for every 10 litre by marking and numbering on the side of fuel tank with synthetic enameled paint and refilling the collected fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying,fixing,testing and commissioning in replacement of LT distribution Panel (CPRI appproved) Cubicle type IP-56,outdoor type factory /fitting fabricated made out of 3 mm thick CRCA sheet outer & 2 mm thick CRCA sheet inner of suitable size to accommodate all accessories / fitting, compartmentalized in construction to accommodate the incoming MCCB and TPN bus bars and outgoing feeders. The TPN bus bars shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC / epoxy insulator. The incoming as well as outgoing MCCBs shall have extension links of current carrying cap not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall be supported on DMC /epoxy insulators having provision for termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All extension liks/ interconnection shall colour coded sleeves. The cubicle shall have frame work, bottom & 45 CM long 4 legs of size 50 x50 x 6 mm angle iron, grouted in PCC 1:3:6 as directed by Engr-in-charge.
