PERIODICAL REPAIRS TO GARRAGE DOORS, SUN SHELTERS INCLUDING CONNECTED ITEMS IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AFS BIDAR UNDER GE (AF) BIDAR

Dismantling existing hangar doors of size 5 m (W) x 8 m (H), each of weight 1.5 T aprox, separating Top and Bottom rolling mechanism, re-assembling after carrying out rectifications to ensure free movement of door post erection in in its position. The job comprises as under :- i) Taking down hangar door with required T&P / Machinery, setting aside safely for carrying out rectifications / replacement of parts as required, ii) Disconnecting electric motor and connections before taking down door, re-assembling and connecting after hangar door is made ready after carrying out necessary repairs, iii) Greasing of wheels, rails, etc., including provision of 'D' shaped neoprene gasket at edges of both leaf, nylon brush to facilitate removal of accumulated obstacles in movement of wheels, iv) Making good disturbed surfaces matching with existing provisions, i.e., Concrete / PQC / Block Masonry, v) Preparing new steel surfaces and applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, vi) Provision for manual operation of door movement and brake application vii) Provision of handles for declutching motor, viii) Welding required as Standard Engg Practice and IS Codes, ix) Testing and commissioning of door, including provision of heavy duty rubber buffer at parking bay to avoid any jerk in door while in staging parking bay, ix) Any other requirement which are not catered in here-in-above, but are essentially required for free and hassle free movement as per standard Engg Practice shall deemed to be included under this item unless specifically mentioned.

Supply only Bottom wheel assembly of heavy duty 300 mm thread diameter, double flanged EN-8 steel grade forged wheels with hardness 300 to 350 BHN with ZZ sealed maintenance free ball bearings complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Top roller assembly of heavy duty 100 mm thread diameter, EN-8 steel grade forged wheels with hardness 300 to 350 BHN with ZZ sealed maintenance free ball bearings and placed in channel/rail so that it will not slip from the guides at any point of time and ensure free movement of panel leaf.

Material and labour for, mild steel framed work as in doors or gates using angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, Rolled mild steel sections as in running rails and guides for sliding doors fixed with angle cleats, connecting plates etc, FE-290, Grade-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work as in Top and Bottom wheel assembly, guide rails, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Mild steel framed work as in Top and Bottom wheel assembly, guide rails, etc., using crane gantries, rails, ties, fastenings and heavy brackets farming (beam, tee, angle channels or flat sections) distance pieces, etc including necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work, confirming to Fe 290, Grade E-165 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The quoted rate shall deemed to include for following :- i) Top & Bottom assembly, track and rails shall be replaced with existing sections. Top and bottom assembly, guide shall be aligned to ensure free movement of door, ii) Making good all disturbed surfaces with existing concrete / PQC / block masonry and matching the adjacent surfaces, embedding rails in concrete, iii) Existing top guide track shall be fabricated in such a way that in case of derailing, slip of door from rail, the top guide track shall prevent from falling of door out of its alignment, iv) All exposed steel sections shall be painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc Chrome,

Supply & Fixing in repair pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based Corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour, having 550 Mpa tensile strength as in cladding or moulded into curve roof covering, etc., fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and as directed.
