Cleaning all the exposed surface of gate and embedded parts by a jet of grit/copper slag, propelled by a blast of compressed air and painting the surface with two coats of epoxy coal tar black paint with a minimum film thickness of 150+/-5 microns per each coat after applying two coats of priming coat with zinc primer containing not less than 85% of zinc on dry film thickness of 70+/-5 microns, so that the total film thickness of all coats including priming coat is not less than 350 microns over the grit blasted and cleaned surface to class A standard of IS14177 including cost of materials, labour charges, cost of testing all painting materials incidental charges, hire charges of tools and plants etc. complete including making semicircular holes of size 25-30mm in the webs and stiffeners, wherever there is tendency for accumulation of water or existing holes shall be reamed to 25-30mm dia where drainage is getting impeded including cost of all drilling and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Removing Existing damaged Rubber seals for the outlet gates, supply and fixing of new Flat type rubber seal of good quality (conforming to IS11855) wherever required after getting the approval of departmental officers, having the same dimensions as that of the existing one including making holes in the seals at par with steel stem, supplying and replacing the damaged SS nuts, bolts and flats etc., inclusive of all scaffolding charges, hire charges of tools etc., complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Removing Existing damaged Rubber seals of the outlet gates, supply and fixing of new L type rubber seal of good quality (conforming to IS11855) wherever required after getting the approval of departmental officers, having the same dimensions as that of the existing one including making holes in the seals at par with steel stem, supplying and replacing the damaged SS nuts, bolts and flats etc., inclusive of all scaffolding charges, hire charges of tools etc., complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Removing Existing damaged Rubber seals for the outlet gates, supply and fixing of new corner seal (flat & L-type rubber seal) of good quality (conforming to IS11855) wherever required after getting the approval of departmental officers, having the same dimensions as that of the existing one including making holes in the seals at par with steel stem, supplying and replacing the damaged SS nuts, bolts and flats etc., inclusive of all scaffolding charges, hire charges of tools etc., complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Supplying Steel wire rope 48mm dia 6x36 (14-7+7-7-1) Construction, Right hand Ordinary lay, Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS ) grade, Galvanised, Steel Core, Preformed, Pre stretched, Stress relieved, tensile strength 1770 N/mmsq., mass 9.64kg/meter conforming to IS specification 2266-2019 with manufacturers test certificate (dia., mass, lay, finish, material, core type, length, pre-forming, stress relief, pre-stretching, wire rope lay, strand lay, tension test), 8Nos reel, including socketing suitable to the existing gate and testing the wire rope of make Usha Martin/approved Equivalent etc. complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements.

Fixing wire rope already supplied to the gates and hoisting unit safely and in correct alignment of the whole system after removing the existing one by both manual operating system and driven by the prim over already provided, including cost of all labour , incidental charges, hire charges of generator set, tools and plants, correcting the final alignment, without affecting the structural safety of the existing members and observing the safety measures including applying cardium compound and stacking the dismantled rope in departmental store, Provision for undertaking the ESMP requirements is also included.

Overhauling of 170T Rope drum hoist unit of vertical gate including overhauling of plummer blocks, electro-magnetic thruster brake, limit switch, oil seals, gaskets if any and cleaning, greasing of all the moving parts and re-fitting of hoist mechanism after overhauling, replacing brake liners, trail run of hoist mechanism with gates including cost of all material, labour , hire charges, scafoldings etc. complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc. as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Overhauling of radial gate rope drum hoist consisting of 7.5Hp, 750 rpm, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor, worm reducer and EM Brake hoist mechanism including reconditioning of damaged hand operation , mechanism cover, plummer blocks, electro-magnetic brake, limit switch, oil seals, gaskets if any and cleaning, replacing brake liners, greasing of all moving parts, changing of bearings wherever necessary and re-fitting of hoist mechanism after overhauling, trail run of hoist mechanism with gates including cost of all material, labour, hire charges, scafoldings etc. and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc. as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Applying priming coat:With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron /steel works

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :One or more coats on old work

Carrying out thickness measurement of the skin plate of Outlet gate using Ultrasonic method as per specification and submitting reports, as directed by the Engineer in Charge. At least 5 Nos of readings shall be taken in a grid of 50cm x 50cm ( 4 Nos at corners and 1 No at centre of grid). The rate shall be inclusive of charges for all the instruments, labour, conveyance and handling charges, conducting tests, submitting reports etc. complete and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc. as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.
