Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipe lines, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and taking up or down steel water tubing and connections of 15 mm bore, fixed in walls, ceiling, floors, trenches etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron spun pressure pipes (Class K7) of 100 mm bore with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc coating (130 gm/sqm minimum) and bituminous finish layer (minimum thickness 70 microns) with socket & spigot ends (ISI marked) conforming to IS 8329 suitable for push on rubber gasket joint/tyton joints complete laid in trenches all as specified & as directed. Note :- (i) DI fittings shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule. (ii) Pipe shall be laid in trenches already excavated for taking out GI pipe line. No extra Earth work shall be admissable.

S&F in replacement 20mm bore Gun metal gate valve (ISI marked) with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe, complete, all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’ of 80 mm bore, ISI marked with IS 14846 : 2000, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve of 80 mm bore, complete, all as specified & directed.

S&F in replacement cast iron, Non return valve/reflux valve with rubber seat flanged type with by pass arrangement suitable for 80 mm bore pipe, ISI marked, conforming to IS – 5312: 2004 with atainless steel spindle, CI agte with brass nuts, bolts, washers and jointing with necessary rubber gasket etc., complete all as specified & directed

Supply and fixing DI fittings (ISI marked) upto 150 mm bore, conforming to IS: 9523 : 2000, such as bends (any type, radius & angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot), collars, caps & plugs suitable for spigot & socketed pipes, complete, all as specified & directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonary valve pit of internal size 60cm x 60cm x60cmincluding necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mm x40mm x6mm, MS Sheet cover of 3mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface an dgrouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock including dismantling of old existing unserviceable vale pit etc., complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- (i) Brick wall shall be 230mm thick built in CM 1:4. (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20 mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8)type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Three coats of white wash to internal surface of valve pit. (vi) Depth of valve pit shall be reckoned from thetop of PCC in foundation.
