MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF 132/11 KV TRANSFORMERS, CONTROL PANELS, CABLES, EARTHINGS AND ALLIED WORKS AT MRS AT NAVAL DOCKYARD, VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) DM VISAKHAPATNAM

Material and labour for filtration/dehydration transformer oil of transformer voltage grade 132/11 KV, capacity 20/25 & 10/16 MVA outdoor type, floor mounted in situ till achieve dielectric strength minimum 60 KV at 4mm gap all as specified and directed.

M & L for topping up/replacement of transformer oil with new transformer oil suitable for working voltage 132/11 KV grade in main tank and OLTC including necessary dehydration to achieve dielectric strength min 60 KV at 4mm gap complete all as specified and directed. Make – GULF/Castrol/ HP /IOC /Savita /Power.

M&L for chemical analysis test comprising (i) Disolve gas analysis, (ii) Acidity, (iii) water content, (iv) Sludge, (v) Die electric dissipation factor, (vi) Specific registance, (vii) Flush point, (viii) Density (ix) Apearence, (x) Electric strength, (xi) Interfacial Tension of transformer oil of 132/11 KV transformer by taking out at 5.0 ltr container and transporting to govt approved lab at Visakhapatnam or at near by Cities including submission of test report.

Note for item No. 1.00 to 3.00 :- (a) New transformer oil to be bought in company sealed ISI marked container with test certificate and cost of container & transportation & lab test shall be inclusive of the quoted rate (b) Filtration /dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer is installed and required pipe connection from filter machine to transformer shall be made and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Necessary filter/dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperaturature gauge to be brought at site by contractor and to be kept permanently inside ND (V) till completion of work and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. In any condition, in-out of the filter machine during the progress of the work will not be allowed. (d) Transformer oil test report before and after dehydration/filtration shall be submitted duly authenticated by authorised person .

M & L for replacement of silica gel grains in the breather assembly of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of breather assembly made with polycarbonate base and clear acylic glass of size to accommodate 2.0 kg of silica gel for transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for maintenance of OLTC by draining out transformer oil, dismantling all internal connections, opening top cover, taking out carefully, cleaning all sludge from OLTC chamber, replacement of oil, refixing to original position, testing, commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be measured separately

Periodical cleaning of complete transformer outer surface including 132 KV bushings, radiators, marshaling tank with volatile cleaning agent at every alternate 3 month to keep the complete outside surface dry and clean all as specified and directed. (Note : Each job measured in one quarter as one unit.

M&L for servicing of set of auxilary tripping relays and master trip relays by taking out from 132 KV relay control panel, cleaning of fixed and moving contact points and checking for proper functioning of relays all as specified and directed. Make - L&T or equivalent of ABB/Schneider.

Supply and fix 4 pole power contactor AC3 rating 25A, for radiator fans inside control panel box fixed at body of transformer all as specified and directed. Make- L&T, Model MDX 9 or equivelent of ABB/Schneider.

M&L for fixing copper earth strip of size 32mm x 6mm making drilled hole at both ends and fixing to transformer earth point / earth test point incl dismantling taking down old rusted steel earth strip all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for cleaning of 132 outdoor kit, removing all dirt and dust accumulated inside fins with suitable cleaning agent cleaning of complete mounting MS structure and painting with one coat of aluminium paint opening and reconnection of all earth terminals after cleaning jointing surfces complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing 132KV, horizontal double break isolators "GRPS" make, 132 KV, triple pole, 31.5 KA centre post rotating horizontal double break type isolators suitable for upright mounting with manual operated mechanism for main switch and earth switch (i.e. mechanically gang operated) with all accessories required for normal operation of the isolator, but without support insulators, without supporting structure and without terminal connectors with following configuration (copper design) : - a) For 800 Amps with one earth switch. b) Support insulators for the above isolators. M&L for cleaning of 11 KV power capacitor bank with reactors and all mounting structures, 11KV cable kits, all supporting 11KV pin insulators, replacement of damaged 11KV pin insulator, opening and reconnection of all GI/AL strips of capacitor terminals after duly cleaning the surfaces, painting to complete mounting structure with one coat of aluminium paint, opening and reconnection of all earth terminals after cleaning jointing surfaces all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete opening of ACSR conductor after opening aluminium pad clamp by removing nuts, bolts from 132KV lightning arrestor decarbonizing all contact surface of ACSR, replacement of unserviceable aluminium PAD clamp suitable for panther ACSR conductor and 132KV Air break switch / Lightning arrestor terminal all as specified and directed

Maintenance, servicing, overhauling of vacuum circuit breaker of 11KV as per checklist which mainly include disassembling various parts (if necessary) to check for healthiness, cleaning, assembling, tightness checks, functional checks, timing checks, HV, CRM and IR etc. tests to be carried out to ensure healthiness of the entire VCB circuit and functioning of power & auxillary circuit and all control devices like spring charge motor, closing coil, tripping coil & its controls to be checked complete all as specified and directed. Note : Replacement of defective parts of VCB shall be measured and paid separately

Maintenance, servicing of numerical relay fitted with 11KV panel as per checklist which mainly include disassembling various parts (if necessary) to check for healthiness, cleaning, tightness checks, functional checks like Primary injection, Secondary injection tests to be carried out to ensure healthiness of entire protection circuit, metering circuit and functioning of all auxillary relays and overall control devices like TRIP/N/CLOSE switch, LOCAL/REMOTE switch & its's controls to be checked complete all as specified and directed.
