Supply installation testing and commissioning of silent type Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 160 KVA, 3 phase 0.8 power factor, 50 Hz, developing 200 BHP @ 1500 RPM, self-excited , self-regulated brushless AC generator including AMF panel, suitable for ambient condition at Joshimath and confirming to condition under ISO 3046, IS 10002, BS 5514/5000 with capacity of 10% overloading for one hour in every twelve hour duration and including the following accessories :- (A) Alternator :- Synchronous alternator rated at 160 KVA suitable for continuous operation at 1500 RPM generating 415 volts at 0.8 p. f (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, three phase, 4 wire system. The alternator shall be brushless, single bearing, self-excited & self-regulated with an AVR .The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to IS: 4722 : 2001 The silent features of the alternators are :- (a) +-1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions. (b) IP: 23 protections with class ‘H’ insulation. (c) Permanent lubricating bearing. (d) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation.

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine liquid cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation. Silent features of accessories shall be as under:- i) Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system: - Moulded radiator with fan & belts. iii) Cooling Liquid pump: - Centrifugal type belt driven. iv) Exhaust System: - Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade, Silencer: Residential type v) Fuel System: - Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by governor electric operated/ (as recommended by OEM) for 1% speed /frequency regulation, Fuel filters, Fuel hoses vi) Lub oil System:- Lubricating oil filter, Lubricating oil pump vii) Air Intake System:- Air intake Manifold, Air cleaner dry type viii) Governor: Electronic type ix) Starting System:- Electric Self starter , including battery charging alternator 12 Volts DC. x) Batteries :- Batteries maintenance free of capacity 12 V, 150 AH- 01 No complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self-starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified.

xi) Generator Monitoring Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as per standard manufacturing, iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, coolant temperature indicator, Battery volt display. xii) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high coolant temperature and over speeding of engine. xiii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexible coupling xiv) Accessories :- AVM Pads built- in or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames. xv) Base Frame : - Base frame is fabricated either in ISMC or in sheet metal.The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting Diesel engine and alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure & control panel on it and lifting hook for complete set i.e. along with canopy, engine and alternator. xvi) MS/Steel flexible pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. xvii) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines. xviii) 1 No battery of 12 V in charged condition with its leads.

C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Powder coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material & Rock wool for hot zone. Adequate hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for control panel visibility. (i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 160 KVA DG Set. (ii) It should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank :-Daily service fuel tank of 8 hours of continuous operation, fabricated form 14/16 SWG sheet metal complete with drain, inlet and outlet connection and fuel gauge. (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows: - (a) Outer body: - CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. (b) Doors: - CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick. (c) Sound Insulation: - 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level. vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. viii) The enclosure should be suitably internally illuminated by LED Lamp fittings. ix) The noise level should be < 75 dB at 1m under free field conditions. x) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pretreatment process. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade.

D) Control Panel: - Control panel shall be fabricated from 16/14 SWG sheet and powder coated after seven tank treatment process: (i) Microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system consists of LCD display and to monitor operator interface, fault history, alternator data, Engine data, provision for service adjustment and caliberation of DG control functions, Engine controls, engine protective functions, alternator protective functions etc. (ii) Instrument fuses and control wiring. (iii) Indication lamps set for running and load on. (iv) Bus bar including suitable capacity of MCCB, including CTs, cable etc. E) AMF Panel: - Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel made of CRCA sheet 2 mm thick including necessary arrangement to Install, Testing and Commissioning complete all as per OEM recommendation. F) Civil Works:- All civil works including PCC (1:3:6) platform with a height of 60 cm above ground level and upto a width of 60 cm both sides of DG Set for easy operation of operator and necessary maint work and related foundations for panel and equipments including making good of disturbed area during installation and commissioning of generator set . The depth and size of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer. Note: - The contractor shall arrange artificial load resistive for testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Note :- (i) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (ii) Circulation system to achieve desired inside temperature of acoustic enclosure, if required shall be provided as per OEM recommendation. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site as specified in PS and IS requirements in presence E/M Officer detailed by accepting officer, all testing arrangements/ equipments shall be made available by the contractor for tests. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil, DHPP for 12 hours testing and final successful acceptance test. (v) Anything missed out above but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rates. vi) Design / drawing of the AMF panel & DG SET showing the dimensions is to be obtained from DG SET/ panel board manufacturer / supplier & is to be got approved from GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. vii) The electrical connection of digital Multi-Functional Meter in the AMF panel is to be done from load side so that monitoring of various parameters viz. Voltage, Current, KW, KVA, power factor, frequency etc can be done of both SEB mains & DG mains. viii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil & final successful acceptance test. ix) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive one set of all types of filters , complete set of Maint tools & fuel refilling pump for filling fuel to DG set.

M&L for earthing complete with using galvanized mild steel earth plate (electrode) 600 mmx 600 mmx 6mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all-round the plate using 32X6 mm GI earth strip as earth lead moulded and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to main equipment at switch/control board at another end, GI earth lead incased in and including 50 mm dia GI ‘light grade’ pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipment with & including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe ‘light grade’ as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of the earth plate, GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in pits chamber and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate)duly reinforced with mild steel round bars 6 mm dia @ 150 mm c/c both ways with 10 mm dia mild steel bars as in lifting handles with and including necessary excavation & earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor /wall all as per plate No. 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. NOTE :- GI earth wire and protection pipe beyond 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid separately. (Note : 1. If the desired earth resistance is not found earthing shall be re-done by the Contractor without any extra cost paid by Department.)

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers nexc 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dry sand filling in trenches around under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :- For the purpose of payment only punned thickness will be measured.

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks, old size, well burnt laid flat dry for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, testing, commissioning XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 150 sq mm 3½ core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix onload changeover switch 4 Pole 250 Amp , 36 KA , 415 Volt with enclosure suitable for fixing on ground/on the wall including necessary PCC work required for fixing on ground/ on the wall .Complete all as specified and directed.
