Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 75 mm but not exceeding 150 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 12 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

150mm thick water bound Macadam in two layer (75 mm each layer) (compacted thickness) using Granite, Trap or basalt stone with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per discription of serial item No. 02 herein before but except materials complete all as specified and directed. (Serviceable stones retrieved from will be reused).

Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 KG/ 10 Sqm of surface area using paving bitumen VG -30 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5Kg/ 10 Sqm of surface area using paving bitumen VG-30 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with min 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient including cleaning of existing surface by brushing with wire brushes, sweeping with compressor air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Work to be carried in places and also patch repairs to depressions over 50mm shall be carried out under this item. Rate under this item includes for cleaning the surface of pot holes and depressions and removing of the rubbish materials as per site requirement.

Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 4.5 to 5.5% (as per design mix) binder content by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using paving bitumen VG 30 grade and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity Tendam Vibratory Roller used in static mode complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat 5kg/10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam (minimum binder content of min 4% by weight of total mix as per design mix using VG30) well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30mm size and again well rammed (including supply & laying premixed macadam binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all as per IRC specifications and as specified. Note for Item No. for item No. 6.00 to 8.00 :- (1) Design mix shall also clearly specify filler (%), total quantity & Bitumen & Rolling required for 40 mm thick semi dense asphaltic concrete and BM. (2) Contractor shall be aware of local material and design mix prevailing in area. If Binder % worked out (in design mix) more then the % specified, same shall be provided without any extra cost. (3) During transit of material from hot mix plant to site shall be covered by tarpolin / necessary covering.

Providing and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, 20% glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material complete all as specified and as directed.

Solar Studs 135x105x26 mm made of Aluminum frame with mix epoxy filler of approved colour having breaking strength of minimum 20 tons fixed in repair / replacement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Speed bumps of size 750 x 75 x 250 (Model No. DA 1005) complete all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of CONVEX MIRROR circular of size 1000 mm dia made with ABS Body, Lens/Mirror with unbreakable poly carbonate fixed with clamp with MS pipe 80mm dia and upto 5 feet height and fixed to the ground by PCC 1:2:4 block of size 45x45x60 cm including excavation,removal and curing comple all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Make : ABS Engineering, equivalent model of Dark eye or Cats eye or 3M or equivalent make as approved by GE)

Solar Delinators 1000 x 47 mm made of Polycarbonate and toughened aluminium alloy body of height 145 mm, diameter 80mm, comprising of 04 super bright LEDs which gives 360 degree viewing with solar panel - 2.5V, 120mm (approx.) 1.25V rechargeable battery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Retro reflectorised cautionary, sign of size 900mm equilateral triangle as per IRC : 67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, of MORTH 2001 fixed over aluminum sheeting, 2.0mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post, 75mmx75mmx6mm, 3.15M (Total length) firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with PCC (1:2:4) TYPE B-1, 45CMX45CMCx90CM, 55CM below ground level as directed, the angle iron post shall be duly painted with a coat of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy finish paint having alternate black and white bands of 25cm width including GI fixture etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition / breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stone ware) 450mm bore jointed in cmeent mortar of any description including PCC bed complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of stone masonry surfaces or concrete surfaces on wall in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing Integral Water proofing treatment (where ever required as directed by Engineer in charge) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately)

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over plastered surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, Benching, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, saucer drain(including finishing top surface of drain even and smooth without using extra cement), water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, and similar work including use & waste of necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Solar Road Delineator of MS Pipe dia 50 mm and length 900 mm having three bands of colours red,white,green or yellow, each colour of three inces in width provided with a mesh of sixteen gaue GI wire fixed from top of twelve inches length to cover these bands of reflective sheeting and fixing in ground with adhesive or necessary fitmnet complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - charge. (Cat No. Sinor Infrastructure Round Delineator or equivalent model of 3M or equivalent make as approved by GE.

Reflecting road studs/cat eye (Two Way) size 100 x 100 x 25 mm through polycarbonate lens shield body component light weight ribbed structure embedded fixed in road surface using cut back bitumen emulsion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - charge. (Make Cat No. Sinor Infrastructure DA-51 or equivalent model or 3M or equivalent make as approved by GE).

Double legged informatory sign board fixed on single frame and meeting back to back on square pipe or single side boards. The boards shall be made of high intensity Green/Blue colour retro reflective sheeting 2mm thick Alco bond / Aluminium sheet confirming to IS-736 fixed with suitable adhesive to Alco bond / Aluminium sheet painted with epoxy paint, fixed to structureal frame work of MS pipe size 35mm x 35 mm x 5 mm thick square pipe with nuts,bolt/ivets ensuring safety against removal of plate. The lettering,sign or numbering are computerized cut of High Intensity grade white sheeting and mechanically fixed on this board to Green / blue colour number and height of letter up to 15cm and width upto 2cm or as specified and directed by engineer-in charge. This board shall be fixed on two nos vertical posts of 75x75x6 mm square pipe up to 3.5 mtr long to be painted in black and white alternative bands of 25 cm height with synthetic enamel paint and firmly fixed to the ground by embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 block of size 45x45x60 cm including excavation,removal and curing comple all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

3mm thick Aluminium composite panel (ACP) board of size 1800 x 1200 mm (Board shall be rectangular or pentagunal shape). ACP board to be fixed on grid frame work with SS screws/rivets, made of 20mm stainless steel square tube of 1.25 mm thick of SS 304 series and fixed on the perimeter of 40 mm dia stainless steel tube of 2mm thick of SS - 304 series. A 20 mm tube of 1.25mm thick of SS series 304 of 08 nos and 50mm long support to be provided to fix to 40mm thick frame. A grid frame to be provided in side 40mm thick frame of size 20mm square of 1.25mm thick not exe 600mm centre to centre on both ways to support the ACP boards. The board shall be sheated with high intensity retro reflective sheet of blue/green colour, computerised designed symbol/Map /writting letter/figures in (Block, Roman, Italic style or in Indian languages where required)/index hands (natural size) /arrows/stops/commas /short lines/dashes /hyphens/bracket, holograms etc where necessary shall be made high intensity reflective sheet with in white colour letter, shape and sizes as required and approved by GE. Letters not exc 2000 nos of the ACP Board. The face to have a border line of 25mm wide with white colour high intensity retro reflective sheet/tape. The signs/Map board to be supported on 2 Nos post of 50mm dia and 2.5mm to 3.0mm thick stainless steel pipe of SS - 304 series, exc 2.5m and not exceeding 3.0m in height with round moulded design cap on top. Pipes of the boards to be fixed in ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in post holes of sizes 45cmx45cmx75cm depth (post holes and concrete includes in the rates) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Regulatory/mandatory sign made out of 2mm aluminium sheet; size 60cm diameter circle as per the design of IRC-67-1977 pre treated with phospeting process & acid eteching; coating with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of best quality epoxy paint; reflectorised with retro reflective sheeting as per latest M.O.S.T specification; 3.1m long square stand post 50x50 mm and frame fabricated from suitable size angle iron of 25 x 25 x 3 mm painted with best quality epoxy coating black and white bends. The details of symbol for each board shall be as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge and fixed to the ground by PCC 1:2:4 block of size 45x45x60 cm including excavation, removal and curing comple all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
