REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, SEPTIC TANKS AND MANHOLES AND CONNECTED MISCELLANEOUS WORKS AT INS DRONACHARYA UNDER GE FORT KOCHI

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position as in cover slabs etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for precast RCC Cover slabs type B-1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs of drains including necessary form works complete all as specified and as directed. (Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately).

Material and labour for TMT bar 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking bending spiral for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred /stopped ends etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick masonry or cement block masonry built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 type C1 1:3:6 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work but except bricks with subclass `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Bricks retrieved from item No 7 shall be reused after necessary cleaning etc.)

Taking out RCC cover slab of septic tank of any capacity, carefully, taking out the sludge including foul water, collect the sludge in closed container and remove from defence land duly followed the instructions laid down by the local govt bodies after complete removal of sludge inlet and outlet pipe, MS ring and septic tank complete cleaning with fresh water as directed and placing the RCC cover slab in position and set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i)Removing of sludge will be carried out in running and foul condition. No extra cost is allowed in this regard. (ii) Volume of the manhole will be worked out based on the actual depth of sludge. (iii) Water shall be procured by the contractor for cleaning purpose.
