3.14 Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. (i) Private Land

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material,mixing in mechanical mix plant at OMC, Carriage of mixed Materials to work site spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. (ii) For Grading II Material

Water‑Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water‑bound macadam specifications, including spreading in uniform thickness, hand‑packing, rolling with a three‑wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to the proper grade and camber, applying and brooming. Stone screening/binding material to fill the interstices of the coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per Technical Specification Clause 405.) (A) By Manual Means

Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming. Sotne screening / binding material to fill up the interstics of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per Technical Specification Clause 405 (A) By Manual Means

5.1 (III) Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.2-1.5 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

5.2 Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Semi- Dense Bituminous Concrete: Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5% of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the reqd. grade, lavel and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no.508. complete in all respect. including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant ) (Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) : i) With hydrated lime/ cement as filler (refer table 500-9 of MoSRT&H specification) :: |II) for Grading II (10 mm nominal size)

16.38 Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes and conforming to the MoSrt&H specifications
