Relaying of the foundation block of 7000 GPH x 120 mtrs. head H.C. Pump set installed at T/well cum P/stn. Barjani Old and earthing of T/wells cum P/stn.s Raya Old, Swankha Morh & Barjani Old along with other allied electro-mechanical works under Languishing Project.. The complete job involves the following:
Relaying/ Re-istallation of HC pumpset: Relaying of the foundation block of 7000 GPH x 120 mtrs. head H.C. Pump set at T/well cum P/stn. Barjani Old by way of dismantling of the HC pump by disconnecting all electrical connections, decoupling of the pump and motor, dismantling of sluice valves, reflux valve, fitted with the suction & delivery lines. Plugging of suction/delivery lines by fabrication & fitting of blind flanges of suitable thickness with rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc. to withstand the pressure as well as velocity head created during running of other pumping unit. segregating & storing of the pump, motor, pulley set, valves and nuts & bolts at appropriate place inside the pump room. Cutting of base frame from RCC foundation block with gas cutting by using oxygen, acetylene gas, dismantling/ breaking of existing foundation block by way of deploying skilled / unskilled labour using pneumatic hammer, high carbon chisels and other tools & tackles etc, exposing out & cutting of wornout steel mesh, dismantling the cement concrete up to 900 mm below the ground level, carrying and dumping of excavated material outside of pump room at suitable place. Shifting of the base frame along with HC pump set to workshop for repairs, rebuilding the base frame by cutting the worn out channels and providing welding of new MS channels after proper aligning of the channels. Providing, welding of new cross supports to main base plate channels in place of old worn out and providing welding of square plate pieces to the base plate after proper leveling and alignment setting and making holes for fitting of pump and motor with bolts. Leveling and finishing of base plate with hand grinder to give smooth and even shape. Construction of reinforced cement concrete foundation block of size 1800 x 900 x 900 mm (LxBxD) in the excavated of pit by providing & laying of stones masonry in the pit 40 mm and ramming properly, laying of one layer of 1:3:6 concrete mass 15 mm thick before laying of RCC foundation block. Fabrication/ providing of steel foundation bolts along with hexagonal nuts & washers for the foundation bolts – 04/06 nos. of suitable thickness and 900 mm in length for the pumping unit having threaded portion at one end and anchor at the other end. Fabrication of steel reinforced cubical structure of requisite size for the foundation block fabricated out of TMT steel bars of 10 mm thickness, by way of cutting the steel bars of required length and placing in position at proper spacing & binding them properly so that internal cube meshes of 6” size are formed. Lowering of reinforced steel mesh structure in the pit and then placing the base frame of the HC pump set over it, making proper leveling and alignment of the base frame over this steel mesh structure, placing the threaded end of the foundation bolts in upright vertical position after passing through holes of the base frame. Welding of the foundation bolts with the steel mesh structure at various spots and then fastening the base frame by tightening of the nuts of the foundation bolts, simultaneously ensuring proper leveling and alignment of the base frame. Providing and laying of cement concrete block including form work, machine mixing, laying and compaction with vibrator using reinforced cement concrete in mixture of 1:1-1/2: 3 ratio including binding chemical up to top level from inside the base frame and up to bottom flange of base frame from outside of base frame, proper curing of the block and then plastering of the above GL portion of the block with proper drainage system. Reinstallation of the HC pumpset on the foundation block by way of proper placing of pump set and prime mover over the base frame. Providing and fixing of base bolts with nuts and washers, leveling of pump and motor in proper alignment by way of adding shims etc. so that pump and motor can be coupled without any offset. Coupling the pump with motor by proper fixing of coupling pulley set and tightening them properly.
Re-installation of the 80 mm dia suction & delivery lines inside of the pump room by way of modification of the system as per site requirement, providing & fitting of new 80 mm dia heavy duty ISI sluice valve, providing & fitting of new 80 mm dia heavy duty ISI sluice valve & reflux valves on delivery line, providing & fitting of new MS bend, flanges, nuts, bolts & rubber insertion sheets as per site requirement. Job also involves dressing of the openings of suction & delivery lines created in the wall of the pump room with cement concrete mixture. Testing and commissioning of pump set on load after installation of the electrical system at site. The job includes checking of alignment during operation of pump set, abnormal sound during operation, checking of leakage on suction and delivery side and plugging of same. The service bay around the installation is to be provided with mud mat out of 1:3:6 cement concrete mix followed by 50 mm thick PCC floor in mix of 1:2:4. Painting of the CGI shed, newly laid suction and delivery systems of pump by way of cleaning of all the surfaces viz., suction/delivery lines, sluice valves, reflux valves, etc by removing dust and other unwanted material from the surfaces, applying a coat of red oxide primer and then two coats of black enamel paint for smooth finish. Complete job in all respects as per site conditions. The complete job includes cost of material, labour, consumables, transportation of tools & tackles, testing & commissioning of installation.
Improvement of 7000 x 120 mtrs head HC pumpset by way of replacement of 03 nos. impellers in place of old wornout impellers, providing & fitting of new S.S. pump shaft of exact size & specification as per sample, providing & fitting of 02 nos. pump bodies, 03 nos. diffusers, neck rings & sleeves. P/F of bearings at DE & NDE as per sample. Rewinding of 30 HP induction motor, repairs to the rotor shaft, providing & fitting of bushes, repairs to the motor side covers to exact bearing size and P/F bearings at DE & NDE ends. Providing & fitting of new coupling pulley set, graphite gland packing in the pump gland and 60 HP oil immersed star delta starter on the panel board for operation of the HC pumpset. Complete job to make the HC pumpset functional as a standby option in case of damage to the only functional HC pumpset at the station.
Complete earthing of all the electrical equipments in the pump room (CGI shed) at T/well cum P/stn. Barjani Old which includes 02 nos. induction motors and electrical transformer by way of digging a pit of 4' x 4' x 6' size (LxBxH) and providing and filling of alternate layers of charcoal and salt up to 2'. Providing & laying of 2' x 2' earthing plate in the pit, G.I. pipe 25 mm dia in the pit, providing & proper laying aluminium strips andf connecting both the pump sets and passing of electrical cables and making connection at suitable places for providing proper earthing to the induction motors & electrical installation.
Complete earthing of all the 03 nos. induction motors installed in 02 nos. pump rooms and electrical transformer installed at T/w cum P/stn. Raya Old by way of digging a pit of 4' x 4' x 6' size (LxBxH) and providing and filling of alternate layers of charcoal and salt up to 2'. Providing & laying of earthing plate in the pit, G.I. pipe 25 mm dia in the pit, providing & proper laying of aluminium bus bar strips and connecting both the pump sets and passing of electrical cables and making connection at suitable places for providing proper earthing to the induction motors & electrical installation. The job also includes providing & fitting of 100 mm dia ISI mark heavy duty sluice valve & reflux valves on the delivery lines in place of old damaged / worn out valves. Job also includes providing & fitting of 60 HP oil immersed star delta starter of Kilburn / MEX make only on the panel board for operation of the 40 / 60 HP induction motors.
Electrification: Complete electrification of pump rooms at T/well cum P/stns. Raya Old & Swankha Morh & CGI sheds at Raya Old & Barjani OldPVC baton duly fitted on the wall of length as per site requirement. Providing & fitting of 03 nos. complete LED tube-light assemblies and a switchboard with requisite no. of ON/OFF switches and a multi-pin socket for the heating point. Providing & fitting of 40 W LED flood light outside of both the pump rooms for proper illumination of stations.
Painting: The job also includes proper painting on the wall with black & white enamel paint mentioning clearly the particulars of machinery / equipment installed at stations under Languishing project.
