Repair/ replacement of UPS, Rationalization of Transformer with maintenance of LT Standby and Upgradation of Earthings at INS Valsura, Jamnagar

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6, including demolition of existing brick/ block masonary built in cement mortar complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4, type B2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.

Disconnecting/ Taking out the existing transformer of the capacity upto 100 kVA from site for rationalisation/repairing and transporting to workshop for servicing and repairing including loading, unloading and handling to carry out the necessary repairs and refixing the same after & including checking of all parts for repair/ replacement, repairing, installation, testing and commissioning at its original/ new location, decanting the transformer oil, etc, for smooth functioning, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Necessary spare parts required replacement shall be replaced only after prior inspection & approval of Engineer-in-Charge and replacement shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule. (ii) Unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for minor spares/extras. The decision of Accepting officer regarding minor spares/extras shall be final, conclusive and binding. (iii) All T&P & transportation shall be arranged by contractor and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in rate quoted.

Replacement of HT 11 KV bushing assembly with brass terminal, neoprene rubber gasket and washers etc complete with accessories for transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA.

Replacement of LT bushing assembly with brass terminal, neoprene rubber gasket and washers etc complete with accessories for transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA.

Replacement of HT brass metal bush rod 12mm dia with nuts and washers suitable for upto 500 KVA transformers complete.

Replacement of LT brass metal bush rod 20mm dia with nuts and washers suitable for upto 500 KVA transformers complete.

Replacement of Breather assembly complete including silica gel for transformer of capacity up to 500 KVA complete.

Replacement of radiator for transformer of capacity up to 500 KVA complete as per existing type & size.

Replacement of Oil glass for transformer of capacity up to 500 KVA complete as per existing type & size.

Rewinding of coils all as per its original specifications by new copper conductor and with HT/ LT necessary insulation materials.

Rewinding of coils all as per its original specifications by new aluminium conductor and with HT/ LT necessary insulation materials.

Supply and filling new Transformer oil up to conservator level marking as per IS-335 having dielectric strength not less than 40 kV at 2.5mm gap complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Electrol, Power Oil, Indian Oil, Savita or equivalent as approved by GE. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Replacement of Silica Gel blue in crystal in existing transformer breathers for transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA.

Replacement of HT 11 KV off-load Tap changing assembly complete for transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA.

M&L for preparation of external surfaces of distribution transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA including cleaning and removing oil spots from the body and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (first quality) of approved tint with gun sprayer including marking of SM/MES No etc. on transformer with synthetic enamel paint (white) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for filtration / dehydration of old/existing transformer oil including topping up of transformer oil as required in the transformers of different capacity, installed at various locations with suitable capacity of filtration machine to achieve dielectric strength minimum 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule.

S&F in repairs 42 Ah, 12 Volt Lead acid battery (Maintenance free battery with minimum 2 years manufacturer's warranty) for 10/ 15 kVA UPS including necessary connections complete. Make : Exide Powersafe plus or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.

S&F in repairs Charging Card for 15 kVA DSP based 3P-1Ph UPS. Make: APLAB or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs DC driver card for 15 kVA DSP based 3P-1Ph UPS. Make: APLAB or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs Display card for 15 kVA DSP based 3P-1Ph UPS. Make: APLAB or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs Bypass card for 10 kVA DSP based 3P-1Ph UPS. Make: APLAB or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs Transformer card for 10 kVA DSP based 3P-1Ph UPS. Make: APLAB or equivalent as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in repair copper strip 20mm x 3.15mm complete with saddles and fixing screws for fitting the strip or fixing with & including suitable porcelain insulators, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for galvanised iron strip 25 x 4mm earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead buried in ground / fixed on wall with suitable porcelain insulators including taking out existing GI strip complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead buried in ground / fixed on wall with suitable porcelain insulators including taking out existing GI strip complete all as specified and as directed.
