Taking down carefully copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, sockets, light fittings etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls,floors, etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connecting to GI earth wire of size 4mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe of 15mm bore including provision of 40mm tk cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (wt no less than 4Kg/sqm) and frame of angle iron 40mmx40mmx6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI light grade 20mm dia pipe for watering of suitable length placed on tp edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as per plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge and including testing on completion.

Note:-(i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick reinforcement with 8mm TOR steel @ 100 c/c in lieu of CI cover and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. (ii) Earth electrode shall be protected upto test point using necessary arrangement with suitable size GI pipe up to 7.50m and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. (iii) Earth pit chamber and RCC cover shall be painted with red paint over a primer coat and the rate includese in the unit rate of item. (iv) The earth chamber shall be constructed 5m away from the edge of the bldg pit and the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rate for this item.

Deduct Credit Amount as per Schedule of credit as details given on Srl Page No 27 of tender doucments.
