REPAIR MAINTENANCE TO HT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM LT OVERHEAD LINES PERIODICAL SERVICES TO TRANSFORMER AND ITS CONNECTED WORKS AT NPOL KOCHI AND UARF KULAMAVU

M & L for filteration of transformer oil / Insulating Oil inside the HT OCB 11 KV of different capacity/Rating to remove moisture ,sludge,carbon particles and to acheive the dielectric strength / repturing capacity of oil not less than 50 KV with 2.5 mm gap and topping up of oil to the required level of transformer indicator level all as specified and directed by engineer-in-Charge

Oil topping up shall be measured seperately.

Contractor has to make his own arrangement for oil filteration plant.

M & L for topping up/ change oil for transformer of 11KV/433 Volt of different capacity / HT oil switch of 11 KV of different capacity of any rating of dielectric strength /repturing capacity of oil not less than 50 KV ( tested at site with testing kit with 2.5 mm gap ) and test the the dielectric strength of transformer oil before and after the topping up and make oil to the required level of transformer indicator level all as specified and directed by EIC.

The transformer oil shall be ISI marked and brought at site in sealed container only.

The M & L for necessary T & P for collection of transformerr oil samples , testing kit and filteration plant.

Supply and fix breather for transformer oil conservator tank including filled with silica gel for transformer of following ratings complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in charge

100 to 250 KVA

S & F in replacement of Silica Gel (Moisture absorbent chemical ) for breather of transformer 11 KV /433 Volt of any make / rating complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in charge

S & F in replacement of oil temperature indicator gauge suitble for transformer of capacity 11KV/433 Volt complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in charge

M & L for drain cock ISI marked at the bottom of the main tank of transformer after , drain out oil up to safe working level and changing of existing HT bushing with stud, seal etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In -Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of HT bushings of transformer 11 KV/ 433 Volts including by disconnecting existng HT connectin, drain out oil up to safe working level and chnging of existing HT bushing with stud , seal etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In -Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of LT stud of suitable size for transformer of 11/433 Volt for following rating and make all as specified and directed by Engineer-In -Charge.

M & L for Maintenance /Over hauling of HT VCB 11 KV of any Make and rating at NPOL Kochi by taking shut down with prior intimation and cleaning of HT VCB by using air blower , tightning the control circuit , Checking the all fuses , to ensure the smooth functioning of HT VCB by employing the Skilled trades man and helper all as directed by Engineer - In - Charge. Note: Rate Include following

(i) Replacement of small piece of wire of sq area up to 1.5 sqmm Control Ckt cable) of Max length 5 Mtrs and replacement of unseviceble indicator lamps asper colour code allas specified and as directedby Engineer - In - Charge.

(ii) Rack out /Down the HT VCB kept in Test position , Check the megger value of VCB terminals with body by suitable HT megger of range 5000 Volt and check the servicebility of earthing connection by Earth megger note down the readings.

Material and labour for Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT of size 25X20 cm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M& L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60X60cmX6.0 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead 25X3 mm GI strip means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrial plate No. 5 connected or indicated including testing on completion.Incl necessary excavation,earth work,pcc pit,RCC cover ,funnel with watering pipe 20mm bore light grade,GI protection pipe 40 mm bore light gradecomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge. Note: No JCB excavation permitted inside the E/M installation

Supplying and fixing in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of Galvanised iron strip of size 25 X 3 mm, fixed on pole from existing earth test point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and lay in trenches/fixed on wall GI tubing light grade with necessary fittings such as bend, tee,elbow etc complete for the following sizes

80 mm size.

100 mm size

40 mm size.

M& L for opening HT and LT side cable end boxes ,top plate and dismantling HT/LT side ( 11 KV /433 Volt T/F) bushes for replacing the unserviceble gland packing with new as per existing size, with out any leakage in the terminals and refix the bushes and HT/LT connections for transformer of following ratings all as specified and as directed by EIC. Note: Work should cary out after drain out the oil up to safe working level and top up the oil after completion of work up to safe level in conservator tank . Note: Fileration and topping up of transformer oil shall be measured and paid under respective items in shedule if necessary after checking the breakdown value of oil.

Lifting and laying HT UG cable of any size up to 120 Sqmm Note- Excavation/PCC and sand cushioning shall be measured & paid seperatley.

Supplying, laying and commissioning of HT XLPE cables, insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armoured, earthed, electric power cable with Aluminium conductor, 11 KV grade, 3 Core, 95 Sq.mm cross sectional area laid in trenches / fixed on poles including taking down old cables complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge. Note: Earth work,excavation,cable covers and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 18 but with 120 SQ mm 3 core

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil for Repairs/ laying cables etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Removal of excavated material [soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

M & L for quarry 'Raddle mud' for cushioning for cable protection in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm deep over the cable complete ( Note: Punned thickness shall be taken for measurement)

Supplying and laying unreinforced precast cement concrete cable covers,ISI Marked Class HV, Flat, Type - 1, of size 300 mm X 180 mm X 40mm in trenches for cable protection, embossed with "ELECTRIC" on the top surface complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Lifting the existing precast cement concrete cable cover and laying the same covers, in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed by the EIC

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 120 Sq to 185 Sq mm all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge .

Dismantling GI earth wire or cradle guarding or GI anti climbing device etc. and serviceable materials keep in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling cross arms, MS channel or angle sections etc. complete and unserviceable removing from the site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling HT/ LT stay assembly complete including MS clamps with bolts, nuts & washers etc along with necessary excavation and earth work, demolition of cement concrete and removing from thr site necessary excavation & earth work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductor from poles of any size & capacity and unserviceable materials removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling insulators or shackle of LT of any type and size from poles and unserviceable insulators removed from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for stay assembly complete with accessories such as mild steel glavanised flat iron stay clamp, 7/3.15 mild steel galvanised stay strand/wire, one loo[p type porcelain vitreous insulator (white , brown or green) overall dimentions 65X90 mm & clearing hole 16 mm, stay grips, mild steel galvinsed stay bow, thimbles, 16 mm dia diameter of stay rod shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES SSR Part- I complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Excavation & earthwork, cement concrete concrete measured and paid separately relevant items of this schedule).

M & L cross arms, bracings, support clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nut bolts washer, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of read oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F pin type insulator porcelion vitrous, white, brown or green including one galvanised mild steels spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut 100mm height 65 mm dia for 1100 volt grade all as specified and directed.

S & F shackle type porcelain, vitrous white brown or green insulator including GI/MS straps of size 31x3mm, 12mm dia insulator bolts nuts and washer for working pressure 1100 volts of size 75mm height 90mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for ACSR conductor any size as approved on HT/ LT Poles including stringing, binding to insulators with aluminium binding wire with connectors, etc providing PVC sleeves for jumpers as in OH conductors complete all as directed.

M & L galvanised steel continuous wire 4mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-Streching, tightening and fixing the ACSR conductor of any size on LT poles including necessary aluminium binding wire connectors/spacer etc, without taking down the conductors complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Unserviceable Pre-stressed concrete poles/ steel poles of any size & shape including necessary excavation and earth work, taking out of embedded portion of poles from concrete after necessary demolition of cement concrete foundation and disposal of same complete all as specified and directed. Note : Exacvation & earthwork, returning filling removing of surplus soil and demolition of concrete and disposed of the demolished concrete shaal deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer.

Supply,erecting & fixing steel tubular sweaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP - 31 ( 9.00 metres long), complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Earthwork, cement concrete, etc. will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule . (ii) Excavation & earth work shall only be measured in case location is other than item No. 46

M & L for preparation of old painted rusted LT cross arms ,bracings ,supports, clamps ad back plate fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts bolts washers etc and Steel poles providing two coat of aluminum paint including numbering and making strips in circular shape of diameter 150mm black colour letter of hight 50mm complete as directed by Engr - in-charge not exceeding 150 mm up to 1.5 mtr above ground level with alternative layer of yellow and black paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting the tree branches at a distance not exceeding 2.0 Mtrs way from LT distribution lines , of tree branch size up to 80 mm dia as directed and deposited the removing branches at a distance not exceeding 100 Mtrs from Road /Path. Note: Each pole locations / Distance between Two poles of Distance maximum up to 30 Mtrs is considred as One job irrespective of number of tree branches for cutting tree branches for over head lines .

M & L for in replacement of Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for in replacement of Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for in replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screwed all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for in replacement of galvanised iron strip 32 x 3.15 mm buried in ground with saddles and fixing screwes etc for roof conductors and down conductors including removing and replacement of deterioted SS bolts, nuts and washers as required at site etc in the existing GI strip of any size from the starting point to upto the end connected points all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for removing and replacement of procelene busbar supporter (Approx 200 Nos) with new as of same size, including removing and replacement of deterioted SS Screws (Approx 400 Nos , 1½ inch or 2 inches) SS bolts, nuts and washers (Approx 250 Nos) etc.

M & L for installation, commissioning and testing of chemical earthing system to achive the earth value below 1 Ohm comprising of the following components including necessary excavation/drilling for cylindrical tubes of 6" dia and depth 6 mts deep in th
