DISMANTLING OF ROAD WORK
Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Demolishing cement concrete pavement by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 m lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
BARRICADING
Supply of all material, labour and T&P to provide the barricading along trench during excavation and laying of pipe with eucalyptus ballies of 100mm dia in horizontal section in two rows and vertical post of 125 mm dia at 2 m C/C fastened with Nariyal rope including provision of caution board.
DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS EARTH
Disposal of Surplus earth/dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
CARTING & RECARTING
Carting of excavated earth to identified place and recarting the same where sufficient width of road is not available for stacking of excavated earth average lead 150 mtr.
DEWATERING
Dewatering the excavated trenches and pools of water in the building trenches / pipeline trenches, well works by using pumps and other devices including disposing off water to safe distance as directed by Engineer-in-charge (including cost of machinery, labour, fuel), etc. complete.

FENCING WORK
Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.(PWD Nala, Shanti Nagar Nala , Sarawati Nala and Along Rambha River)

Construction of Nala Tapping as per Type design including Excavation, P/L of RCC and M.S. TIMBERING WORK
Provide & fix open timbering (covering1/3rd of surface area by planks), in trenches for the depth upto 3 mt. Below ground level consisting of 40mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board 125mm × 75mm Indian Salwood walers and 100mm dia Sal ballies for strurts at 1.50m c/c including removal after laying of sewer both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. Dismantled timbering materials will be the property of the contractor.

Provide & fix close timbering in trenches for the depth from 3-6 mt. BARRICADING
Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour, materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge.
SEWER PIPELINE DESILTING
Desilting the sewer lines through jetting and suction machines including cleaning, barricading and reconstruction of manholes for section isolation by plugging and flow stoppage, setting up the over-pumping arrangements, traffic management, jetting and dislodging of accumulated silt from the pipelines, removal of silt through suction hose, disposal of removed silt from upto a distance of 20 km, necessary temporary repairs of sewers to stop locational collapses, ingress of ground water in desilted section of the pipelines all complete as per the instructions of the Employer's Representative.(1/3 dia of Pipe 600 mm and 700 mm)
REHABILITATION OF EXISTING MANHOLES
Repair/Rehabilitation of Circular Brick Manhole considering average depth of manhole as 2.30m, Dia. of Manhole 1200 mm and dia. of incomming sewer as 600-800 mm. ( Repair of Brick Work, Plaster, Cement Concrete and Replacement of Manhole Cover frame where necssary and as per direction of Engineer In charge).
