The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of suitable alloys as per BIS 8034-1978 latest suitable for lifting raw water having 6000 PPM turbidity, grease packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with shaft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft conforming to BIS specification.
