75 KVA stabilizer at LIS KP Bala new: Isolating the voltage stabilizer by way of disconnecting the supply mains and dismantling the internal connections and dragging voltage stabilizer to the loading site and shifting in private load carrier to workshop for repairs. Opening the lid of stabilizer and taking out core assembly out of tank.Dismantling of core windings, regulator assembly, bush rod, bush cups, nuts and bolts. The job includes careful extraction of 03 no. copper wound coils from core by disconnecting all incoming and outgoing connections from coils and regulator assembly.Removing of insulation material from copper legs, unwinding of existing copper wire and then rewinding of same and retapping using insulation material for fitting of coils on core like cotton tape, fiber glass tape, cork sheets, latheride paper , nuts, bolts etc. Varnishing of windings and removal of moisture using heat treatment method.Taking out new incoming and outgoing connections from coils as per requirement, the connections shall be made using insulated copper wire and sleeves having weight of approximately 03 kg. Reconditioning of the voltage regulator by way of dismantling of contact points both fixed and movable from voltage regulator followed by cleaning, turning, finishing, facing as per requirement and then refitting of finished contact points to voltage regulator. Providing, fitting of brass bush rod along with bush cupwith insulator (03 no.). Providing and fitting of 02 no. voltmeters having range 0-500 V (AE, Risabh make)analog type to show incoming and outgoing voltages. The stabilzer shall be reassembled at the workshop after conducting repairs, shifted back to site using load carrier and testing on full load.
