Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for pre construction anti termite treatment by treating the soil under plinth protection at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & labour for drilling or boring for 500mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles, through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method in both land/river with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials to a distance of exceeding 1.5 km but not exceeding 5 km and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Carrying out initial load tests on test piles as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method including compressive strength including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining the complete records of load settlements etc as specified and directed by GE and submission of reports for 2.50 times the design load (55 MT) as specified in drawings in non working areas in the vicinity, including the cost of new piles for 500 mm dia piles with specifications as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock is 2D (D is the dia of pile) etc, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Applying cement plaster of 10 mm thickness in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound finished smooth and even.(Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately) (c) Clean the surface thoroughly and applying a coat of blown grade bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 kg per square metre over bitumen primer @ 0.5 kg per square metre. (d) Polymeric water proofing (attatic poly propylene) membrane weighing 3 kg per square metre with minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (non woven fabric of weight less than 160 gm per square metre) laid on primed surface by torch application. (e) A coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @1.2 kg per square metre shall be applied over water proofing membrane and finally it shall be finished with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1 kg per square metre (f) Carry 48 hours ponding test

SCHEDULE "A" PART - V [PERIMETER LIGHTING]
Material and Labour for Lightning arrestor Expulsion type complete with all its fittings transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA shall comply with IS 3070(Part-II) 1966, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Expulsion fuse complete with all fittings shall comply with IS:9385(part-II) 1986 single pole 11000 V and up to 25 A capacity, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, double break with 9 insulator type for current rating upto 200A, 11000 V with single length of 40mm bore of tube GI pipe, heavy grade with provision of sufficient eye hooks, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and erect Prestressed concrete pole, 11 m long, 152 x 152 mm at top and 152 x 260 mm at bottom, class 9 all as per IS 1678-1978 specification and shall carry earth bond in accordance with rule 90 IE, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All civil works i.e earth work and PCC will be measured and paid separately under relevant items in Schedule 'A' Part - I
Material and Labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated and directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide and two coats of Aluminium paint, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for fixing of Aluminium pipe 3mm thick of outer dia 25mm for bus bar purpose with suitable clamps, nut & bolts and washers for making transfer of bus bar of size 4m X 4m for 3 phases, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required with 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire with 8SWG, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fix anti climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS bars 10mm dia welded to flat iron 50x6 mm bend to shape in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of PCC pole including suitable nuts and bolts, washers etc, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with and including of MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for LT of size 20 x 15 cm shall confirm to IS 2551-1982, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with and including of MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT of size 25 x 20 cm shall confirm to IS 2551-1982, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for 100mm bore dia of pipe GI tubes, light grade with all fittings and fixed complete to poles, walls and ceilings or laid in floors or underground complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per Item No. 5.14 above, but 80 mm bore.

Material & Labour for earth continuity conductor of galvanised earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm fixed to wall or batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in pipe, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing straight through jointing kit for 11KV grade cable out door, cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium cable of size 120 to 185 Sq.mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing cable end jointing kit for 11000V grade cable out door, cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium cable of size 120 to 185 Sq.mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for spreading of clean dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning and for spreading at out door sub station area, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Punned thickness only shall be measured for payment purpose.
Supply and lay un-reinforced PCC (Precast cement concrete) cable cover class LV type 1, flat, size 250 x 150 x40 mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and lay un-reinforced PCC (Precast cement concrete) cable cover class HV type 1, flat, size 300 x 180 x 40 mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cable covers shall be factory made as appproved, Test certificate shall be produced before laying and the mix of concrete shall not be less than M-30.
Material and labour for weather proof FR cable single core with aluminium conductors multistranded two runs of 2.5 sqmm & one run of 1.5 Sqmm wire as earth continuity conductor in and including flexible PVC conduit rigidly fixed on PCC pole with suitable clamps for street light connection from junction box to light fitting, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Two runs of cable, one run of earth wire and one run of conduit shall be measured as unit length.
Supply and fixing insulator. pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white including one galvanised mild steel spinndle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Laying Only HT UG cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electrical power cables (Heavy duty) with strandard aluminium conductor,11000V grade of size 3 core, of 120 Sqmm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: HT cable shall be issued under Schedule 'B' under free for laying only. Rates are inclusive of warning tap as per IS to be laid 0.4 m above the cable .
Laying Only LT UG cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electrical power cables (Heavy duty) with strandard aluminium conductor,1100V grade of 3.5 Core 70 Sq.mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Item No. 5.27 above, but 4 Core 16 Sq.mm Note for item No. 5.27 to 5.29: LT cable shall be issued under Sch 'B' free for laying only.
Fixing only Energy conservator T5 lamp road way lighting luminaries and provision of new GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore 1.2 m long made in shape and with suitable GI clamp for fixing pipe with the pole, with all its accossories, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 4 x 24 watt CFL lamps issued under Sch B store
Supply, install, test and commisioning of transformer 100 KVA (as per IS 1180 level 2) stepdown 11000/433 volts, 50 Hz, Outdoor type, copper wound, vector group DYN 11, cooling ONAN, with off load tap changer (±)7 1/2 % in steps in 2 1/2 %, initial filling of transformer oil, stranded fittings/ accessories as per IS/IEC conforming to with hot dipped galvanised radiator and natural Easter oil or latest IS specifications, complete mounted on four pole structure, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Fixing accessories such as angle iron, nut bolts etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items of Schedule 'A'.
Supply and fixing cable route indicator made out of PCC of 450 x 180 x 40 mm embossed as MES HT CABLE 11 KV, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for fixing of HT/LT cables on the bridges with `L` shape Angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm including necessary clamps, nuts and bolts etc, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply, laying and testing of 11 KV earth grade cable suitable for earthern system having compacted circular stranded aluminium conductor shielded with semi conducting compound extruded layer XLPE insulated, dry cured cored shielded with semi conducting compound extruded layer followed by metallic copper screened inner sheath of extruded PVC, galvanised single flat steel strip armoured and PVC sheathed overall conforming to IS :7098 / Part II / 1985 as amended up to date with ISI mark of size 120 sqmm 3 core in VCV manufacturing process, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC beded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, eletric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts , grade cross sectional area 25 Sqmm 4 core, suitable for earthed system, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC beded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, eletric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts , grade cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core, suitable for earthed system, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item Nos. 5.34 to 5.36: Excavation and earthwork, sand cushioning and cable protection shall be measured and paid separately.
Supply and fixing 70W LED street light fitting new generation energy saving made up of preesure die cast aluminium housing with high power LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having top opening separate driver compartment with IP-66 protection and impact resistance of IK07 with 10kV inbuilt surge protection device complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
