CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR RE-CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN OLD SMQs AT SECTOR 28 AT BRD AF STN CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Preparation and submission of site plan (layout plan),soil reports, architectural drawings, detailed structural drawings i.e. plan, sections, elevations, required enlarged details internal electrification drawings, internal public health drawing, joinery details, flooring & finishes details, boundary wall, gate, scooter shed etc to this dept for scrutiny & approval after the drawings are approved by the UT administration & duly vetted from IIT/NIT duly signed by the authorised signatory on behalf of the institute & not from a professor/individual of the institute in his personal capacity. The process of approval from the UT authorities shall be as following:- (a) Certificate of demarcation of plots shall be obtained from the SDO office (survey sub division) after carrying out the demarcation of plots of subject work services as desired by SDO UT Chandigarh (b) After demarcation of plot the drawings shall be again submitted to SDO bldg estate office UT Chandigarh for getting approval/ sanction of drawings (c) The drawings shall be sent further for approval from chief architect office sec-9, Chandigarh (d) After approval from architectural department the drawings shall be sent to town planning officer for further approval which shall be returned to SDO bldg once they are finalized by all the concerned office/department (e) Also as per the revised norms of UT Chandigarh, necessary certification is required to be taken from station fire officer & pollution control officer before finalization of drawings by the estate office, UT Chandigarh

(f) The no.of blocks are as follows:- 15 Qtrs in Sec 28 D - 01 BLOCK 10 Qtrs in Sec 28 D - 01 BLOCK (g) The consultant shall also be responsible for preparation & submission of any details of any unforeseen event/activity which require approval from UT/User/Higher offices. The cost of which is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Preparation & submission of self sufficient structural drawings & drawings including structural details, to this dept for scrutiny, prior to submission to UT authorities. Subsequently obtain approval from the UT administration & duly vetted by any Government institute. The process of approval from the UT will be same as mentioned above :- (a) The no. of blocks are as follows:- 15 Qtrs in Sec 28 D - 01 BLOCK 10 Qtrs in Sec 28 D - 01 BLOCK (aa) Soil investigation - 4 Bore Holes of depth 3m for each block (b) Structural notes confirming to latest standards IS-456, IS-800, IS-875, IS-816, IS-1893, IS-2062, IS-4326, IS-13920 & any other relevant Indian standard of the bldg 2(c) Total station survey of proposed site, Carrying out Soil investigation in 08 (Eight) bore holes & submission of reports in quadruplicate (d) The supplier shall be responsible for third party vetting from IIT/NIT/Govt. college duly signed by authorised signatory (director designer only) on behalf of the institute & not from a professor/ individual of the institute in his personal capacity (e) Supply of designer calculations folder along with STAAD model & output file both in hard & soft copy -01(copy each) & 01 set of original tracing hard copy (A1 size) on Gateway brand tracing paper along with a soft copy of drawings as directed.

Preparation & submission of BOQ & Working drawings to this office for scrutiny w.r.t UT by laws, TD drawings & further clearance/tender presentation to Chief Engineer office(E-2,E-4,E-6 & E-8 Section) including user.

Preparation & submission of Completion drawings (5 sets+ 1 tracing sheet of each drgs+ soft copy in CD) of Building & Services for further approval by the UT administration as per laid down procedure of UT authorities for obtaining NOC & Occupancy certificate. Note:- 15% of this amount will be reserved for Handing/Taking and Final clearance. (i) Necessary permission for disconnecting/Connecting electric power supply source (Disconnection 45 Nos of dwelling unit/SMQ's and connection for 25 nos of dwelling unit/SMQ's ) including depositing of security/Service charges as applicable to U.T electricity department (Electrical load requirement per dwelling unit/SMQ's is 3.9 KW). (ii) Necessary permission for disconnecting /connecting water supply connection from U.T PH department distribution line and upto SMQ's (Disconnection 45 Nos of dwelling unit/ SMQ's and connection of 25 Nos of dwelling unit/SMQ's) comprising of water meter of suitable size/dimension including/depositing of security/service charges. As applicable to U.T PH department Chandigarh water requirement per dwelling unit/SMQ is 1250 litre/day
