Supply of erection of horizontal Spindle,horizontal/radial split casing and suction(Backpull out arrangement_single/double/multistage Centrifugal Pumps or combination of pumps in series/parallel of KSB/Mather & platt/Jyoti/Kirloskar/BE/Maxflow/Beaconweir make conforming to BIS-1520-1980(latest with uptodate ammendments) read with BIS:9137-1978(latest edition)suitable for lifting clear water of under mentioned charactristics with Impellers of bronze/suitable alloy,priming funnels,casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/suitable alloy,shaft of suitable steel grade with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common C.I./Cast Steel base plate(base plate to be from the principle manufacturer of pumping set) to slippering/squirrel cage screen protected drip proof electric Induction motor of Kirloskar/NGEF/Crompton/Siemens/Jyoti/ BHEL/GEC/ABB/Lubi conforming to BIS:325-1978 read with BIS:900-1968(Latest with uptodate ammendments). It should include the cost of bearing,nuts & bolts,painting etc.annd shall be suitable for operation as per data given below:-

Supply of Kirloskar/Kilburn/IVC/Fouress/GLED/BHEL/LeaderKartar make Cast steel double flanged Swing check type Reflux Valve confirming to BS:1868/API-600 having bye pass arrangement and one size higher to delivery size of Pump size ( mm dia and Class ASA-300) and shall be suitable for withstanding nominal seat pressure of 52Kg/Cm².(Size of Valve to be specified by the tenderer).

Supply of Kirloskar/Kilburn/IVC/Fouress/GLED/BHEL/Leader/Kartar make Cast steel double flanged Swing check type Reflux Valve confirming to BS:1868-API-600 having bye pass arrangement and of size equal to dia of Rising Main i.e. 150mm. and of Class ASA-300 shall be suitable for withstanding nominal seat pressure of 52Kg/Cm².

Providing and laying PVC insulated armoured power copper cable of Siemens/Finolex/Grandlay/Gloster make conforming to BIS:1554 (Part-I)-1988 or latest with uptodate ammendments of suitable size for the pump set offered(one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment/accessories such as;thimbles,flexible pipes,solder,nuts & bolts,cable glands etc.laid in pipe or trenches/under floor. The type and size will be subject to approval of the HPSEB.authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB.authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost.

Providing and laying double loop earthing with copper plate 4 SWG,25x3 strips, 600x600x3mm.thick electrode complete with material such as;char coal,common salt,G.I.pipes,thimbles,nuts & bolts,digging of pits,G.I.Wiring 7 copper strips of suitable size conforming to BIS:3043-1978(Latest edition) for above Motors & other electrical equipment.

Supply and erection of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS-2834-1986 latest with uptodate ammendments of BHEL/GEC/Machneil/Mager/Bajaj make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of required KVAR according to H.P.of Motor offered including cable of Siemens/Gloster/ICC make from busbar chamber to capacitor and also including ICTP Switches Kilburn/L&T/Siemen's/havell"s of conforming to 4064-1978 or latest with HRC.fuses(Range to be specified by the tenderer).

Supply of 100mm.dia circular/square dial Pressure gauge of suitable range of Fiebeg/Bourden/Precision/PREGA make with all accessories such as'stop cock,copper tubing etc.conforming to BIS:3624-1987 latest with uptodate ammendments.

Providing and laying of Column Assembly of mm.dia and common header mm.dia G.I.Pipe Confirmng to IS-1239 or MSERW pipe 4.80mm.thick conforming BIS-1978-82 considering site requirement duly flanged at every 3 Metre length with flanges conforming to BIS-6392-1971(Table-5) including tapers,flanges,rubber gaskets 3mm.thick as as per BIS-2712-1978,nuts & bolts as per 1364-1983 and specials upto collection tank as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge /as per layout approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. . Pipe & material shall be capable of withstanding field test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure.

Erection of all equipments from S.No. 1 to 4 and 6 including cost of tees, bends,tapers and any other fittings required as per site conditions and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in foundation treanches(Pipe & Pits) up to all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work,jumper work,saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water,blasting soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming & dressing of sides leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring/strutting planking,timbering & dewatering wherever required stacking the usable & unusable material/soil separately & after laying,jointing & testing of pipes,returning the useable soil in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by raming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration of unmetalled surface to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic,night signals,fixing caution boards,crossing over trenches for access to houses,fencing etc.completein all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying,jointing and testing of galvanised mild steel duly flanged after every Fifth pipe with intermediate circumfesential butt welded joints of below mentioned dia and class i/c.cost of flange,bends,tees etc. The fixing of M.S.Flanges as per IS-814:1967 should be done on both faces to make the joint leak proof and capable withstand the required Hydraulic pressure. The flanges should conform 6392-1971 with specified number and size of M.S.nuts and bolts as per Table mentioned below and ISI-MarkedSBR rubber flange gasket not less than 3mm.thick(Excavation in trenches etc.to be measured and paid for for separately).
