Construction of Precast Property cum Exclusion Boundary Wall for Kovvada plant site (Phase-II)

Site Clearance: Clearing the site by uprooting and removal of shrubs, bushes, weeds and trees up to girth of 300mm (measured at a height of 1 M above ground ) and disposal of the same in safe way to prevent fire hazard to far-away place up to a lead of 2.00 km etc.

Enumeration, cutting and Felling: Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and disposal of all cleared material outside the periphery of the boundary and cleared as per drawings and specifications. Note: 1.Stacking of serviceable material inside Plant boundary as directed by EIC. 2. During girth measurement, a tree having multiple branches at a height of 1m above ground level then the branch with maximum girth size shall be considered.

Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth

Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth

Beyond 120 cm girth upto and including 240 cm girth

Earthwork in soil: Earthwork in soil excavation in in all types of soils, murram, soft rock, and loose boulders by mechanical means/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m.

Earthwork in rock: Excavation in Hard rock (blasting prohibited) by mechanical means in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated rock and disposal of surplus excavated rock as directed, within a lead of 50m.

PCC: Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using stone aggregate of maximum size of 20mm including cost of form work, mixing, transporting, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth all exposed faces, placing in line and level, all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer. Note:-Minimum consumption of cement shall not be less than 220kg/cum.

RCC: Providing and casting in-situ (Design mix), RCC of Grade M-30 with a minimum cement content of 350 kg/cum using stone aggregate of maximum size 20mm including, transporting, placing at all elevations, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing even all exposed faces for all in-situ items as per specification. (The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork).

Formwork: Design, supply, place formwork including forming groove wherever required for construction joints and remove formwork inclusive of required scaffolding / staging materials, labors, tools & plants, safety nets, platform access, railing, etc. all complete as per drawing specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. Only shuttering oil is to be used.

Foundations, Footings, Bases of columns

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses et

Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platforms

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders etc.

Columns, pillars, piers, abutments etc.

Pre Cast Elements: Supply and Installation of Precast Concrete elements such as wall panels, Columns with footings and other structural elements in controlled environment as required with concrete of grade M-30 (Design Mix) with a minimum cement content of 350 kg/cum as per specifications and directions of Engineer . The rates quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement but inclusive of form work and stacking (If required). Note: 1. Pre casting inside Kovvada site will not be permitted. Prior Approval is to be obtained for Precast yard from Engineer-In-charge. 2. Slabs shall be detailed for provision of weep holes and NPCIL logo (engraved in one of the panel at every span) and top panel shall be engineered for anchoring of 600 mm height galvanized Y post spaced at 3.0 mtrs apart. Logo of NPCIL & Text shall be inbuilt in upper wall panels as per approved design and formwork shall be made suitably to incorporate NPCIL logo in mould. 3. The payment shall be made in stages, 60 % on Supply and Stacking of the Precast Elements at the location/s decided by Engineer within the plant site, 40% on Installation & erection in position and acceptance by EIC. 4. Bidders can cast the entire wall panel in single unit and bring it to site for erection. 5. NPCIL Logo shall be painted with approved colour.

Reinforcement: Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding TMT steel reinforcement of grad Fe 500 confirming to IS: 1786 of recommended brand TATA/SAIL/VIZAG/JSW for all pre-cast/in-situ RCC including providing spacer blocks, binding wire etc. Complete as per drawing and specification. Payment: 60% Quantity provided in pre-cast elements will be paid after transporting and storing of precast elements at the location/s decided by Engineer within the plant site. Remaining 40% on Installation & erection in position and acceptance by EIC. Payment is made only for the main bars shown in the drawing.

USK: Supplying of unskilled workers to assist the carpenter / plumber / mason / fitter / painter for civil work with necessary tools as and when required by the Engineer in charge. Bidder shall arrange the workers within 24 hours of instruction of Engineer in charge. Note : 01 (one) task means deployment of man power deployed for 9 (Nine) hrs.(Net duty hours).

Structural Steel: Providing, fabrication, erection/ fixing of Structural steel like ISA for gates, Security Fence , Column Shoes for precast columns, bolts etc., other structures including making in “Y” Shape, necessary holes for G.I Chain link fencing & Concertina wire supports and for any other structural members etc. including fixing the position in concrete/ masonry as per drawings & specification including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer includes cost of paints, primer, labor, materials, scaffolding etc. Complete all as per specification and as directed by engineer.

Supply and fixing of CONSEC ZAL Super Razor punched barb tape (SRPBT) Aluminum base helix coil of 610mm dia (Before stretch) including necessary fixing clips for securing complete as per following specification:- (i) Dia of coil (unstretched) - 610 mm (ii) No of circles: - 51 turns per coil (iii) Coverage in length:- 6 Mtr per Coil (iv) Weight of each coil with hessian pack - 8.00 kg(±0.5). (v) Central core wire: - Made from 2.60mm dia H.T.S.S wire as per IS - 4454 galvanized as per IS-2629. (vi) Razor Punched strip:- Razor punched tape is CONSEC-ZAL Steel comprising of Aluminum base with Zinc alloy @ 150 gm/ m2 conforming to ASTM A - 792 / A - 792M with additional primer treatment of Epoxy / Polyurethane & Final Paint Top coat of Caulifield green shade (BSL 139) by Hot Dipping process & Barb Tape Length - 23.50 mm, Barb Width - 18.60 mm, Barb Spacing - 36.00 mm, Centre Width - 7.40 mm, including etc., complete as per drawings and specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing of 3 numbers RUST PROOF CONSEC ZAL Super Razor punched barb tape (SRPBT) ALUMINUM base Horizontal Runner Wire as specified and as directed with following specification:- (i) Central core wire :- Made from 2.60 (±0.5) mm dia G.I – High Carbon Wire as per IS-4454 (Gr –SM) galvanized (HEAVY ) with 230 GSM Coating as per IS:4826 . (ii) Razor Punched Strip:- Razor punched tape is CONSEC-ZAL Steel comprising OF ALUMINIUM BASE with Zinc alloy @ 150 gm/ m2 conforming to ASTM A-792/A-792M with additional primer treatment of Epoxy/ Polyurethane & Final Paint Top coat of Caulifield green shade(BSL 139) by Hot Dipping process & Barb Tape Length -23.50mm, Flatten Tape Width-18.60 mm , Barb C/C Spacing-36.00 mm , Centre Width-7.40 mm .

Truck: Providing a Truck/ Dumper having hydraulic facility for unloading material of minimum 6.00 CuM capacity with driver having valid license to drive vehicle including one helper for any work like carrying the material, unloading etc. for 10 hours (including lunch period) per day including cost of diesel, oil, lubricants, maintenance etc. complete as directed by Engineer.

JCB: Providing JCB machine with all attachments with driver possessing a valid license to drive the JCB machine including one helper for any work like excavation/backfilling/levelling etc. for 10 hours (including lunch period) per day including cost of diesel, oil, lubricants, maintenance etc. complete as directed by Engineer. Note: One Nos means deployment of JCB Machine for 10 hours.

Hume Pipe: Providing and laying in position RCC NP3 class of various dia Hume pipes for nallah crossing / drainage including levelling, loading & unloading, cost of laborer's etc. complete and all as per specification and as directed by Engineer.

Dismantling: Dismantling carefully the existing RCC, RR Masonry, PCC/ Brick Work Etc., at all elevations including breaking concrete by chiseling, wedging, Uprooting the pillars cast in the earth/ concrete etc. including cutting the reinforcement, disposing of serviceable and unserviceable materials outside the plant premises etc. complete and as directed by Engineer In charge. Note: The Contractor shall dispose the reinforcement waste from dismantling concrete and take the same outside the plant area at his cost. i.e. the material obtained from dismantling is the property of the contractor. Accordingly the rate shall be quoted.

Grouting: Providing and grouting with approved high strength cementious ready mix non-shrink grout of compressive strength 6 Kg/sqcm ‘Conbextra GP-2 ’ M/S Fosroc make or approved equivalent, to grout between column and footing pedestal joint at all elevation and locations as per specification and as directed by the Engineer.
