Repair and maintenance of 11 No. gates of CHEP-III by way of dismantling and cleaning of all parts by using petrol, dhoti cloth, brush etc. Applying fresh coat of grease to all the parts of gate and then assemble it properly. Oiling to chain sprocket arrangement and rollers which includes shaft, lock pin, roller, etc. Repair of damaged Chain block at head work if required. Replacement of gear oil in reduction gearbox, damaged/worn out brake pads, Stainless steel nuts & bolts for seals and repair of motor if required. Removal of old cadmium compound / grease from the steel wire rope, cleaning it properly and then applying fresh coat of cadmium compound. Cleaning of sill beam. Replacement of damaged/burnt out contactors switches, fuses, indicatorsetc. The job also includes complete dismantling of winch machine of manually operated gates which include pinion, gear, gun metal bushes, etc. and cleaning of all parts by using petrol, dhoti cloth, brush etc. Applying fresh coat of grease to all the parts of winch machine of the manually operated gates and then assemble it properly. Oiling to rollers which includes shaft, lock pin, roller, etc. removal of old grease from the threaded stem rod, cleaning it properly and then applying fresh coat of grease. cleaning of sill beam. Welding of broken /damaged parts if any .Checking the manual as well as electric operation of the gates by lifting and lowering it 2-3 times.

Repair and maintenance of 2 no. drain valves at power house of CHEP-III by way of dismantling and cleaning of parts like threaded rod ,glands, disc and flanges. Apply fresh coat of grease, replacement of gaskets and gland seals with the new ones. Replacement of rusted/damaged nuts and bolts, fitting etc. Checking their operations by opening and closing 2-3 times to ensure smooth flow of discharge.

Routine maintenance of penstock of CHEP-III by way of clearing of vegetation/bushes/ boulders/ branches of trees along the length of the penstock from upstream to downstream side by cutting of vegetation etc. clearing, stacking and their disposal away from the site manually including clearing of the drains along the both sides of the penstocks. The job also includes reconditioning of the expansion joints of the penstock by way of cleaning of old oil/ grease, rust , dust etc. with the help of kerosene oil/ petrol, dhoti cloth and then plugging of leakages including proper torquing of the nuts/studs and bolts of the expansion joints and manholes to maintain adequate pressure in the penstock required it he power house to run the turbines. The job includes cost of material, T&P items and both skilled and unskilled labour required for the successful execution of job. Complete job
