Page no-239, Item no-3.14 & 3.15(b)[Roads] : Construction of Subgrade and earthan shoulders construction of subgrade and earthan shoulder with approved materials obtained from borrowpits with all lifts and leads,transporting to site,spreading,grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000m as per Technical clause 303.10 for rural roads of mord....(b) carriage upto 2.0 km.

(Vide PWD Build. Sch, Page-02, it-4(a):Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm.including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.

(Vide PWD Roads Sch, Page-238, it-3.16):Single brick flat solling of picked jhama bricks including removing and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

(Page No-238, Item No-3.16, SOR Road & Bridge w.e.f. 30.08.2018) : Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and removing the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (b) Brick-on-end-edging (250 mm depth)
