Conversion of the Existing 33 kV Punnapra Thakazhy Overhead Power Line into Underground Cable between Location Nos. 145 and 146 at Thakazhy Railway Crossing

Supply of 33kV 3x300sqmm aluminium UG cable

Supply of 33kV Lightining Arrestor 10kA, Polymer Class II with Surge Monitor and Insulating base (Both Ends) including mandatory spares

Supply of 300 sq.mm Al Crimping sockets

Supply of Nut and bolts of various sizes including washers

Conducting Check Survey, setting out tower positions on ground, pit marking, all confirming to the approved profile and tower schedule using Digital Theodolites/ Total Station etc.as directed by Board staff

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared

Horizontal directional drilling along/across the railway track at depth of 5m from ground level, supplying and pulling 160mm HDPE pipe PN-4, 160mm dia: grade PE-80 and class PN-4, duct for drawing 3x300 sqmm AL XLPE UG cable through the duct (including pulling of UG cable)

Laying HT XLPE UG cable of sizes beyond 3x185 sq mm and upto and including 3x300 sqmm including conveying cable from Sub Regional Store/stacking place to work site and laying it carefully using cable rollers, taking through stone ware/G.I.pipes at road crossing/culverts/bridges etc. whereever necessary, providing identification tags at 5m intervals, filling the space around the cable with riddled soil and covering the top with bricks, providing cable route markers at 100m intervals, inclusive of cost of all materials (other than cost of GI/HDPE pipe & UG Cable), labour and transport including crane charges excluding excavation and backfilling.

Horizontal directional drilling along/across the railway track at depth of 5m from ground level, supplying and pulling 40mm HDPE pipe PN-4, 40 mm dia: grade PE-80 and class PN-4, duct for drawing 24 fibre OFC without any damage through the duct (including pulling of UG cable)

Fabricating and Supplying Name Boards for Extra High Tension line feeders on 25cm*40cm size rectangular Aluminium Composite Panel Sheets using Vinyl stickers with red color background and writings in white color viz. showing KSEB emblem, Voltage level, Names of feeder codes , Location number & Phone number of concerned Assistant Engineer etc complete with English Alphabetic / Numerical letters in readable size as directed by the KSEB officials, providing 16 mm holes on the boards and fixing the Name Boards on towers at appropriate heights after drilling holes on the tower angles.
