REPAIR AND PAINTING/POLISHING OF MISC FURNITURE ITEMS AT JODHPUR MIL STN UNDER GE (A) NO.1 JODHPUR

Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows:- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns at Jodhpur/Shikargarh Army Areaincluding BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (e) M&L for melamine polish high gloss mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.

BED PLY WOOD TOP (FD-246)

S&F Long Rail all as shown on drg and as specified .

S&F Head Rest complete as shown on drawing and as specified .

S&F Foot Rest complete all as shown on drawing and as specified.

S&F Replacement of unserviceable Top with Ply top 12 mm thick BWP Grade all as per drg.

S&F Replacement of Teak face ply 4 mm thick in head rest as per drg.

S&F Replacement of Teak face ply 4 mm thick in foot rest as per drg.

S&F Wooden corners to be provided in shape all as directed by EIC/GE.

S&F PVC Shoes 35 mm dia superior quality all as specified and as per drg. .

BED Hard Steel [FD-E6/MAP/08(R)]

S&F PVC Shoes superior quality all as specified and as per drg. .

S&F Head rest made of 18 mm plywood BWP grade duly pasted with sunmica of thickness 0.80 mm on both sides and all the edges (shade as approved by GE/EIC) of and PVC beading 2mm thic provided alround the edges fixed with edge banding machine and suitable adhesive.

S&F Foot rest made of 16 mm plywood BWP grade duly pasted with sunmica of thickness 0.80 mm on both sides and all the edges (shade as approved by GE/EIC) of and PVC beading 2mm thick provided alround the edges fixed with edge banding machine and suitable adhesive.

S&F Replacement of unserviceable Top with Ply top 12 mm thick BWP Grade (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply) all as per drg.

S&F Long Rail as per drg.

S&F Head Rest MS Frame complete as per drg.

S&F Foot Rest MS Frame complete as per drg.

S&F Stiffener as per drg.

S&F Welding spot work wherever required as directed by EIC.

S&F Painting of the Bed Hard Steel with two coat of Black paint with spray machine over a coat of red oxide primer of approved quality after preparation of steel surface by griding welding spot, sanding with sand emery paper and dusting the surface with clean cloth. The Bed hard Steel frame shall be made smooth by applying metal putty on etched surface only where required.

S&F 6 mm plain MDF board exterior grade as such fully covering on three sides and front of cabinet/drawers/exposed sides and .80 mm thick sunmica of approved shade shall be pasted all as directed by GE/EIC
