Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils, rocks & E&B etc. As met at site,true to lines as per plan,L-section, Cross slope, super elevation as required, also including uprooting & cutting of bushes dressing of raods surface to the required level and slopes, with all lifts and leads required for safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places indicated in drawings by mechanical means/ manual means and including construction of required coolie walling of minimum height of 0.60 mt with the stones available from the required hill side cutting for retaining the muck, without otherwise damaging the forest,forest land, utlities, private and public properties , including slip clearance and its safe disposal (same as per mention above for safe disposal of surplus excavated material), till the completion of the work as per part-II special condition of contract MORD specification, Clause 1601, 1602 and 1603 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Repair of damage caused by rain/spillage of water preparation and surface treatment of formation by removing mud and slurry watwering to the extent needed to maintain the desired moisture content, trimming to the required line,grade, profile and rolling directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD specifications for Rural Roads 2014 for subgrade prepration

Surface Work

Low porosity: Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 -1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification Clause 502

provding and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emuslion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Providing laying and rolling of cold mixed open graded.Premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm, 5.6mm aggregate using penetration grade cationic bitumen emulsion (tailor maid binder) to required line, grade and level serve as wearing course on previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100KN static roller capacity finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type B as per MORD. Providing and laying seal coat by Bituminous(Tailor made Binder) as binder for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical specification Clause 508 ( Emuslion used for cold mix shall be supplied from authorized supplier of IPR's owner i.e. CRRI New Delhi)

Kutcha Drain

Construction of Hill side Kutcha Trapezoidal drain as per draing ( Top 0.60m, Bottom 0.30m & Height 0.40 to 0.60m as per site). Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40sqm in soil & ordinary rock.
