Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. complete all as specified and directed including removing cable protection covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m Note : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing / laying only old PCC cable cover of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, taking down and removing the old existing un serviceable non-functional/broken GI sheet/hinges of any description and in any position of existing feeder pillar boxes/panel boards/feeder pillar boxes etc and supplying and fixing new cold rolled 50 mm long medium weight mild steel butt hinges in position and necessary GI sheet for door of panel/main switch etc with necessary spot welding etc including making necessary adjustment for free and smooth movement of panel and locking arrangements complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Each hinge point and joint of GI sheet shall be measured as one unit. )

-ditto- but supplying and fixing new cold rolled 100 mm long medium weight mild steel butt hinges in position –ditto-

M & L for servicing of feeder pillar box, after dismantling the incoming and outgoing connections from MCCB/ Bus bar and replacing the old burnt/ overheated unserviceable lugs, terminals, nuts, bolts, washers supporting insulators etc and checking the serviceability of MCB / MCCB, earth continuity conductor and strip etc complete all as specified. Note: (i) Spare parts such as terminals, lugs, nut bolts, insulators etc will be measured and paid under respective item in the schedule, (ii) Labour for fixing charges of the spare parts deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the items.
