Providing and fixing double flanged250 mm piping work layout to be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pump(s) offered and common header as per the rising main respectively complete with all specials such as bends ,tees reducers/ increasers with companion flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories as indicated in the drawing No.2 including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thickness as per IS 2712-1979 and required number of nuts and volts as per IS: 1364-1983. The pipes shall be as per relevant IS Code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.1.

(i) Motor side: 95 mm2 Min length = 20 mtrs.

(ii) Supply side: 120 mm2 Min. length =10 mtrs.

Providing and fixing double loop earthing and G.I. plate 600 mm x 600mm x 3mm thick electrode complete with material such as thimbles, nuts and bolts, charcoal and common salt, 32 mm x 3_mm G.I. strips & G.I. wire as per IS: 3043 -1987 with up to date amendments for motors and other electrical equipments and digging of pits etc. complete in all respect.

Excavation in foundation and trenches etc.(in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft / hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rock/ where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer –in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized MSERW flanged pipes excluding cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade L210 or A as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick sas per IS: 2712-1965 & 90% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face + one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for seprately) .
