SCHEDULE `A' PART-XVIII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note for items 19 to 130 The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)
SITE CLEARANCE & LEVELLING
Material and labour for Site Clearance by Cleaning, Cutting and Filling shall be cleared off shrubs, vegetation, grass, bush, weed, trees and saplings not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of one metre above GL. Useful material shall be stacked & rubbish/useless materials disposed off upto a distance 50 m outside the periphery of the area. Roots of trees and saplings shall be removed as described under felling of trees and the hollows filled up with earth, levelled & rammed complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for Felling of Trees exceeding 300cm girth and not exceeding 350cm girth including cutting of trunk and branches and grubbing of tree trunk including cutting of trunk portion protruding over ground, digging out roots, filling holes, in layers not exceeding 250mm compacted thickness and levelling off ground, stacking of serviceble material and removing of unserviceable material to a distance not exceeding 50m and clearing site complete all as specified and directed.

RUNWAY PAVEMENT/ TAXIWAY/SHOULDER/RUNWAY PLINTH PROTECTION
Material and labour for river sand passing from 4.75mm and retained on 1.18mm seive as in SGA all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth/recycled material spreading in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, watering, ramming / rolling compacting earth by using vibratory soil compactor of capacity 10 to 15 tonne and finishing to required size, shape, etc, to any height from base using approved earth (obtained from site as per note below) complete all as specified and directed. Break up details of quantity: Pavement - 1590851 Cum, Shoulder (Pavement +LTT) - 76800+8323 Cum, Road - 20243+513 Cum.
Notes :- (i) The scope of forming embankments shall consist of loading/ unloading of excavated earth obtained from item No. 6 to 10 of Schedule 'A' Part-II and transporting the same to the locations of embankment site within AF Station Deesa area (MOD land) as directed by GE or Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Qouted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of loading/ unloading and/ or cost of transportation of earth by any means or by any route or by any methodology and no separate lead shall be payable.
(iii) Vibratory soil compactor of capacity 10-15 tonne shall be used. (iv) The embankment shall be finished to required gradient /camber. (v) Forming embankment shall be as per MoRTH specifications as detailed in particular specifications. (vi) The quantity shall be worked out on the basis of initial level and final level of finished embankment formed.
Material and labour for Soil Stablisation. Stabilising the in-situ/borrow soil/earth or combination of both obtained from sites as in subgrade/formation, adding in-situ minimum cement OPC 43 grade @ 5% by weight of dry soil (exact quantity of cement/other stabilizer shall be arrived after design mix and trial on ground) and water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of soil mixture during consolidation. Work to be executed by specialized purpose built in-situ soil stabilizer of required width with integrated water spray system like Wirtgen WR 200 or similar equipment of other make duly approved, adding required water. Stabilizer will be spread by mechanical means by purpose built equipment like Streumaster or equivalent of other make compatible with the soil stabilizer in two layers of 250mm thick for a total compacted depth of 500mm, consolidating with suitable compacting plant such as soil compactor/power vibratory roller etc followed by proof rolling test under optimum moisture content to achieve at least 98% of maximum dry density (Modified Proctor density) and minimum field soaked ‘K’ Value of not less than 5kg/cm²/cm , minimum lab soaked CBR value of 15% and minimum unconfined compressive strength 3 Mpa determined in accordance with relevant IS code of practices and finishing the surface to the required levels, gradients/profile etc complete all as specified and directed . Material and labour for cutting of 25mm thick expansion joints upto full depth of PQC concrete slab 415mm thick by diamond cutter machine as soon as the concrete is strong enough to with stand edge spalling i.e. first cut as early as possible but not later than 24 hrs filled with preformed compressible synthetic filler board (HD-100) of required depth conforming to IS:1838:2011 Part- 3, provision of 2mm thick debonding tape above filler board, 02 coats of priming the vertical side of joints or as recommended in manufacturer's instruction and sealed by mechanical means using cold single component polyurethane sealant above backup rod 30mm dia (Min depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 15mm leaving 2-3mm recess) confirming to relevant code, ASTM C 719 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. The sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 years as used in international Airport in India complete all as specified and as directed. EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION
Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Outdoor type floor mounted step down transformer, 11 KV/433 Volts (at no load) AC 3 phase 50 Hz, 100 KVA capacity, core type, double copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled, Oil Natural-Air Natural (ON AN), with external cooling tubes, delta connected on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector group DYN-11 with Neutral brought out on secondary side (LV side) and having tapings at +5% to -10% in steps of 2.5% on HV side to be changed by means of hand operated off load tap changer gear. The maximum temperature rise should not exceed 40 degreesCelsius in oil and 45 degreesCelsius in HV/LV winding when measured by resistance method after continuous full load run on an ambient temp of 40 degreesCelsius. The transformer shall be of BOLTLESS core design. Transformer shall be double wound, core type wil low loss, non-ageing, high permeability PRIME GRADE,
CARGO with M4 Grade or Better, perfectly insulated and clamped to minimize noise and vibrations. The transformer shall be IS: 1180-2014 (Level-III) complete all as specified and directed and shall comprise of the following: - (a) One cable box on HT side (primary side) consisting of three nos porcelain bushing with copper rods, complete with nuts and washers, with cable glands suitable for reception / taking out 3 core 95 Sq mm, HT 11000 volts’ grade, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, heavy duty, armored cables including jointing materials complete. Supply installation testing and commissioning Silent Type Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 125 KVA or nearest higher size available ,3 phase 0.8 power factor ,50 Hz,1500 RPM self-excitedself-regulated brushless AC generator installed including AMF panel, suitable for ambient condition at Deesa and confirming under ISO 3046 IS 10002 BS 5514/5000 with capacity of 10% overloading for one hour in every twelve-hour duration and including the following accessories complete all as specified and directed: -
(A) Alternator Synchronous alternator rated at 125 KVA suitable for continuous operation at 1500 RPM generating 415 volts at 0.8p,f (lag) suitable for 50 Hz three phase 4 wire system The alternator shall be brushless single bearing self-excited&self-regulated with an AVR.The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to IS: 4722:2001. The salient features of the alternators are: - (a) +-1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions (b) IP-23 protections with class 'H' insulation (c) Permanent lubricating bearing (d) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation

The base frame will be primer coated and painted. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting Diesel engine and alternator close coupled with cross members mounted on AVM.The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic, enclosure& control panel on it. The base frame is having provision of lifting hook for convenient lifting of complete set i e along with canopy engine and alternator xix) MS/Steel flexible pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. xx) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines. xxi) 1 No battery of 12 V in charged condition with its leads.
C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: -Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching is done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of holes within 0.1mm powder coating is done after seven tank surface preparation process of sheet metal canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material &Rock wool for hot zone Adequate hinged doors shall be provided to canopy one door shall have glass window for control panel visibility i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 125KVA DG Set ii) it should be as per latest rules and regulations of ministry of environment and forest and pollution control board. iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure.
iv) Fuel tank: - Daily service fuel tank of 8 hours of continuous operation fabricated form 14/16 SWG sheet metal complete with drain, inlet and outlet connection and fuel gauge v) Construction Details/specification are as follows: - a) Outer body: - CRCA sheet of 1.6mm thick b) Doors: -CRCA sheet of 1.6mm thick c) Sound Insulation: - 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/cum)/fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level. vi)The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button viii) The enclosure should be suitably internally illuminated by CFL/FTL Lamps fittings
(D) Control Panel: Control Panel shall be fabricated from 16/14 SWG sheet and powder coated after seven tank treatment process. (i) Micro process based Generator set monitoring and control system consists of LCD display and to monitor operator interface, fault result, alternate data, engine date, provn for service adjustment and calibration of DG control function, engine control, engine protective function, alternative protective functions etc. (ii) Instruments fuges and control wire. (iii) Indication lamps for DG running and load on. (iv) Bus bar including suitable capacity of MCB, including CT, cable etc. (E) AMF Panel: Automatic main failures panel made of CRCA sheet to mm thick including necessary arrangements to install, testing and commissioning and connection to load cable up to change over switch, suitable capacity of 4 pole MCCB complete all as per OEM recommendation.
Supply, fabricate, installing, commissioning and testing outdoor type auto phase sequence correction LT feeder pillar box ,made out of 3.15 mm thick steel sheet and angle iron supports complete,factory made,plinth mounted cubical type,dust and vermin proof, front and back side opening,complete dully provided with bus bar chamber,cable entry chamber cabinets of suitable sizes for housing,MCCBs Metering cabinet for fixing voltmeter,ammeter and indication lamp and painted with two coat synetic enamel paint (powder coated) over one coat of red oxide primer and using copper bus bar 400 Amps rating for phase and half of the rating of neutral duly fixed with suitable insulators and nuts and bolts provision of threaded earthing slud or bottom and fixing lugs of suitable size at top to lift the panel safety shall be made with degree of protection
Material and labour for fabricating trolly to accommodate 125 KVA DG Set ,Lt Panel cables having chassis of size 2.2 m,tr X 3.0 mtr using MS channel of size 100mm X 50mm X 6mm and MS flat wherever required including base of MS sheet 10 gauge fixed properly welded on chassis including made out of cage with MS angle iron 40 X 6mm with XPM mesh, cage not less than 1.9 mtr high cage should be with openable door with locking arrangement at front side duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, with towing hook of channel/angle iron, fixed with trolley for easy movement from one place
to another place. It shall not be less than 1.25 mtr from channel all as specified and directed and comprising the following:- (a) Supply and fix tyre and tube of size 7.5 X 16 o suitable size of wheel drum 04 Nos(Make- MRF/CEAT) (b) Supply and fix leaf spring set 13 Nos with U clamps 04 set suitable to take up full load of trolley and DG Set (c) Supply and fix axle 02 Nos between front and rear wheel (d) The cost of any MS work required for DG Set shall be deemed to be included in the quoted above

Material and labour for providing following services at Air Force Station Deesa for Runway work:- (a) Survey work for runway including threshold, taxiway, apron, parking way, runway lights and other airport aids radio navigation aids, building and structures, significant, obstacles inside the Air Force Station, Air Force boundary and other object located within the boundary shall be measured 1000 points runway level shall be taken at 30 mtrs interval. (b) Survey team also should assist in establishing Aerodrome reference point and other important positions makers. PACS (Primary Airport Control Station), SACS (Secondary Airport Control Station) etc as required. (c) The survey shall be conducted by most precise, most modern and calibrated survey equipment like Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS), Electronic total station (precision 1”, auto level etc duly supported by good quality software. An airport control network will be established using the WGS-84 ellipsoid and EGM 2008 defined co-ordinate system (or in terms of AMSL if required). All aerodrome obstacle will be referenced to the airforce/ airport network. Note:- Four copies of printed OLS survey report and drawing/charts (in colour) alongwith soft copies in CD shall be supplied by contractor.
Note :- (i) Amount for above said scope of work is Rs. 7,00,000.00 and shall be operated as Prime cost sum. The unit of this scope of work is given as "Each JOB". (ii) The measurement and payment for the item executed under prime cost sum will be made on actual cost basis as per procedure laid down in contract manual. (iii) Contractor has to quote rate/amount above/below for Rs 7,00,000.00 for this scope of work. The relative percentage above/below will be derived from quoted amount for the pricing purpose. (iv) This percentage (plus/minus), subject to a maximum of 15% (on plus side) shall be taken as the PC Sum percentage. If the quoted percentage works out to be more than +15% the same shall be restricted to +15% only. Moreover, the acceptance of tender will also be made on this basis only.
