Providing services for daily maintenance, manning & operation of Diesel driven generating installation of HQ Area at Old Telephone Exchange during the mains failure comprising of following capacities, 3 phase, 440 volts, 4 wire system alongwith panels for supply of electricity during mains failure to HQSC, CESC and other connected equipments by deploying minimum ONE OPERATOR Semi Skilled (FGM) in each shift, daily in THREE SHIFTS round the clock PER DAY (Morning, Evening & Night Shift) (8 Hour Per Shift) including Sundays and Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (a) The term ‘Daily Operation’ includes Minor Maintenance like General Cleaning, Cleaning of Machines, Equipments and Hourly Reading, Recording of Each Plant. Log Sheet(s) will be provided by the Contractor to all Equipments of each DG set wise in Standard Proforma to make Record in consultation with Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Engine Oil, DHPP for running the DG Set as required shall be issued under Schedule ‘B’ as ‘FREE-FOR-USING & RUNNING’ only, the transportation including labour for collection shall be contractor's responsibility without any extra cost to the Govt. (c) SHIFT DUTIES (TIMMINGS) (i) Morning Shift : 0600 Hours to 1400 Hours (ii) Evening Shift : 1400 Hours to 2200 Hours (iii) Night Shift : 2200 Hours to 0600 Hours.

Providing services for daily maintenance, manning & operation of Central type AC Plant Installation at Southern Command Signal centre comprising with 2 x 100 TR of AC plant 3 phase 440 volts, 50 Hz with AHU, electrical panel control board etc equipments and Running of Stand by DG Set of 380 KVA and Stand by to stand by DG set 200 KVA during the mains failure and stand by failure respectively by deploying minimum ONE OPERATOR Skilled (Ref Mech cum DG Operator) in each shift, daily in THREE SHIFTS round the clock PER DAY (Morning, Evening & Night Shift) (8 Hour Per Shift) including Sundays and Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTES :- (a) The term ‘Daily Operation’ includes Minor Maintenance like General Clearing of installation including sarroundings, Cleaning of Machines, Equipments and Hourly Reading, Recording of Each compressor and DG sets. Log Sheet(s) will be provided by the Contractor to all Equipments in Standard Proforma to make Record in consultation with Engineer-in-Charge. Providing Services for Manning, Running & daily operation of Main Receiving station (HT/LT) located at New KG Line sub station by deploying minimum One Electrician Skilled in each shift, in three shift per day round the clock (8 Hours per shift), including Sundays & holidays, Maintaining the Log sheet for Incoming & out Going feeders, attending Military telephone being provided and noting down the complaints as directed & shown by Engr-in-charge and also attending break downs/ repairs on break down complaint calls of HT & LT lines in the area and rectifying the problems by replacing DO fuses and HT jumpers, LT connections etc and restore the electric supply in area with necessary arrangements, if required for change over of HT ring main supply etc. consisting of following :-

(a) New KG Line Main supply at 11 KV - 1 No. Receiving Points from MSEB/ MES (b) 05 Nos GOD (c) Local Feeder - 02 Nos (d) Ring main from Gurudwara - 01 No. and Signal Centre - 01 No. Note :- Rate qouted shall include supply of the DO fuses, aluminium conductor for jumper as required.

General Notes for item No 1 to 5 :- (a) The Operator i.e Semi Skilled FGM/Ref Mech/Electrician/Valveman/Helper employed shall have requisite qualification and they should produce the attested copy of the certificates to the Engineer-in-Charge/GE before commencement of work. (b) Day to day maintenance of equipments/pumps shall be carried out by the contractor employeeas per the direction issued by Engr-in- Charge. Materials such as grease, glands, waste cloths, Insulation tape, cleaning materials etc shall be supplied by the contractor. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor for the same. (c) Protective clothing as per IS and safety instructions are to be provided by the contractor and will be continuously in use of the Operator on duty. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor for the same.
