NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :- (a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after. (b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor. (c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failing which contractor shall liable to pay a penal recovery of Rs. 5000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, subject to maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher. (d)The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as Electrician / FGM / Technician etc., readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery etc., as per site requirement.

S&F danger notice plate of size 20 X 15 cm & 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for LT including taking down un-serviceable notice board complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Instruction shall be written in three languages Hindi, English & Telugu on Notice board.

M&L straight through joint, heat shrinkable type complete with jointing materials and accessories, suitable for 1.1 KV, 3.5 core LT XLPE aluminium conductor cable of size 240 to 300 / 400 Sqmm including taking down existing un-serviceable joint complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The cost of earth work & excavation shall deemed to included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

Supply & laying sub class 'B', class designation 75 bricks of old size, laid over sand cushioning along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches including taking out old bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note : Sand cushioning will measured and paid seperately.

M&L for cutting the bitumineous mecadam / hard standings in road and excavating trenches across the road in size not exceeding 0.45 m wide and 0.6 m to .075 m depth for laying cable / cable protection pipe including returning and refilling earth & making good top surface of the disturbed portion with 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) / bituminous mix as per existing & matching with the surroundings including removal of rubbish off to a distance not exceeding 100 m complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted against this item shall deemed to include road cutting, earth work excavation, plain cement concrete work required for making good top surface etc., complete.

S&F in repairs for cable route indicator for LT UG cable, 1100 Volt grade made out of 4mm thick MS sheet in round shape of dia not less than 200mm, embossed with LT Cable on it, bolted with 2 nut of suitable size at top of 40 x 6 mm MS flat iron of length not less than 1 meter, complete metal surfaces painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer & bottom of flat iron embedded in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 of size 200mm x 200mm x 500mm (400mm below ground level and 100mm above ground level), exposed surface of concrete painted with 3 coats of white wash including necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Rate qouted shall deemed to be inclusive of cable route indicator, earth work, excavation and concrete complete.

S&F 80 mm bore dia galvanised steel tubing, light grade galvanised, laid under road crossing, for cable protection or fixed to poles, walls or laid under floors including taking down existing un-serviceable GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out / jointing / cutting / welding work to loose or separated door / canopy / front & back sheet covers etc of existing LT panel and refixing the same to make opening and closing of door smooth including providing new nut-bolts, hinges, locking arrangement etc as required at site, fixing earth connections properly complete all as specified and directed.

Decarbonising / cleaning of Existing LT panel cubical type of size from 0.5m x 0.5m x 0.3m to 1.5m x 1.5m x 0.6m, consisting of bus bar and circuit chamber, metering chambers CTs and relays chambers, checking the bus bar joints, bus bar and circuit spouts, cleaning and applying Busbar Insulation Tape to the bus bars , checking the current transformer, applying Monoplast compound at the bus bar joints after tightening of joints ,replaced new suiable size of lugs /suitable copper control cable and reassembling , if any rusted sheet replaced with new sheet as per existing size including 01 coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and writing panel number complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Cost of lubricant/ cleaning agents (CRC & rust remover)/ insulation tape / hardware like springs/ bolts/ nuts/ washers, suitable copper cables cost of labour, T&P required for replacement shall be etc. shall be deemed to included in the rate quoted.

M&L for removing connections of old LT UG cable of size 16 to 100 Sqmm, 3.5 / 4.0 core from existing MCCB / ACB of LT Panel including cutting & removing the burnt end & reconnecting the same with existing MCCB / ACB with & including new aluminium thimble / lugs set, covering with proper insulation tape, clamps, nut bolts etc (as required) complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl item No. 35.00 here in before but for old LT UG cable of size 120 to 400 Sqmm,

S&F in repair epoxy insulators suitable for supporting of busbars with panel board base including nuts and bolts and making holes in the CRCA sheet all as as required at site and as directed by Engr-in charge.

Note:- 1. All the activities to trace the fault and rectifying & restoring the supply shall be carried out within specific reasonable time as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. The cost of required tools (T&P), minor items such as lugs, nuts, bolts, insulation tape and safety equipments required for the job are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item & nothing extra shall be paid by the department. 3. Safety of manpower deployed for the job is contractor’s responsibility. In case of any accident / fatal injury, contractor shall be held responsible to settle all claims and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account. 4. The cost of all manpower (any number) for the job is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate 5. The cost of Fault identification by use of fault locator (if needed) is catered in separate Items.

M&L for detecting LT UG cable faults located in any stretch / depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, HV surge generator, fault pin point surge wave receiver, cable identification instrument , cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes complete all as directed. Note:- The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of arrangement of necessary fault locator equipment, transportation of equipment& charges for service engineer.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point including dismantling un-serviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed. M&L for preparation of external surfaces of old existing LT panels indoor/outdoor type by scraping down old dusted paint by steel brush, brooming, rubbing and cleaning including spray painting with one coats of synthetic enamel paint and marking feeders complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for taking out loose or separated door / canopy / front & back / top sheet covers etc of existing LT panel and fixing new CRCA sheet of thickness of 3.15 mm the the same to make opening and closing of door smooth including providing new nut-bolts, hinges, locking arrangement etc as required at site, fixing earth connections properly complete all as specified and directed.
