Material and labour for Soling (or sub base) 150mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for water bound maccadam (WBM)150mm thick (compacted thickness), in two layers each layer 75mm thick with coarse aggregates of granite grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparing new WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm over WMB surface using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) paving bitumen any penetration complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix Semi-Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen grade VG-30, mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with vibratory roller HD 99 VV or equivalent roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on lesser side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted(Minus) through supply only rates of paving bitumen VG-30 as per Particular specification clause No.7.6.3.2. However, no price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Material and labour for preparing new or old bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick and not exceeding 10cm wide centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like on roads pavements with using hot thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 mixed with reflectorising glass beads @ 250gm per Sqm with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and all as directed. Material and labour for 250mm bore reinforced concrete pipe, class NP3 laid and jointed complete all as specified.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) Concrete bed to drain pipes of dia 250mm including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, mass concrete complete all as directed.

Material and labour for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new kerb stone surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance exc 1.5KM but n exceeding 5KM and depositing where directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming laid in layers not exc 15 cm, soil obtained from item No 1 all as directed.
