CS Air Handling Units (CS AHU) Supply, Dismantling, Removal, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SDRITC) of Smart Air Handling Units (AHUs) featuring a modular design for seamless integration within existing structures. The scope includes the dismantling and removal of the existing AHU units, which will be taken back by the contractor. The scrap value of the removed units shall be deducted from the quoted price. The new AHUs shall have double-skinned galvanized steel panels with 50mm PU insulation for thermal efficiency and noise reduction. The casing shall be corrosion-resistant with an epoxy/polyester powder-coated finish, and the framework shall be high-strength aluminum or galvanized steel for structural integrity and vibration-free operation. The system shall incorporate supply air, and return air dampers. The air-handling unit shall have a face velocity of 500 FPM with a minimum of 6-row, 12.5mm thick copper coil, ensuring high heat exchange efficiency. The AHU shall be equipped with high-efficiency EC plug fans with backward-curved impellers for optimal airflow control, reduced power consumption, and belt-free operation, minimizing maintenance. A thermal break profile to prevent condensation, and a fire trip shutdown mechanism. The units shall have MERV 8 pre-filters and MERV 11 fine filters for superior air purification, ensuring optimal indoor air quality. The scope includes a factory-wired starter panel with auto/manual operation, built-in safety features, and a stainless steel SS 304 condensate drain pan with elastomeric insulation for efficient drainage. The quoted cost shall be inclusive of all duties, freight, port clearance, local transportation, and complete SDRITC activities as per tender specifications. The CSAHU shall meet all the specifications in accordance with the Eurovent AHU standard EN 1886, with classifications including D1, L1, TB2/TB3, T3, and F9. The noise level shall not exceed ≤75 dB, measured at a distance of 1.5 meters. The CSAHU shall ensure Class F9 filtration for bypass leakage and maintain fan and motor efficiency as per IEC 60034-30-2. Additionally, all fans shall be statically and dynamically balanced. The required face velocity of 500 FPM shall be maintained across the coil, and the coil shall have a minimum of six rows with a thickness of at least 12.5 mm. Butterfly Valves supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of manual butterfly valves with a PN-16 pressure rating, designed for efficient flow control in the chilled water system. The valves shall have a cast iron body, a nylon-coated SGI (Spheroidal Graphite Iron) disc, an EPDM seat, and a stainless steel (SS 431) shaft for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The valves shall be of the wafer type and operated by a hand lever for reliable flow control. The new valves shall be installed considering the existing site conditions, with appropriate reducers where necessary to accommodate size variations. Table F flanges shall be used to ensure secure and leak-free connections. Dismantling of existing panel, supply, and fixing of prefabricated rigid polyurethane foam (PUF). The panel shall be made out of a sandwich panel of 50mm thick PUF insulation (Nominal density 35 kg/m³), and both sides of the panel shall be laminated with 0.50mm thick galvanized steel sheet coated with polyester paint with a strippable polythene sheet with suitable doors. Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of smart pressure-independent energy valves equipped with integrated sensors for flow measurement, supply and return water temperature sensing, and real time energy metering (BTU monitoring). Each energy valve shall be capable of modulating the flow of chilled or hot water to maintain a user-defined room temperature setpoint. This control shall be achieved through integration with room thermostats or Building Management Systems (BMS) via analog input (0–10V/2–10V) or digital communication protocols such as BACnet/IP or Modbus RTU/TCP. The valves shall support features including Delta T management, energy optimization, fault diagnostics, and remote configuration through software or cloud interfaces. All necessary communication points for integration with room controllers and BMS shall be documented. The equipment shall be factory-calibrated and compliant with relevant international standards. Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of canvas connections for CS AHU mouthpieces to ensure vibration isolation and flexible air distribution. The canvas connections shall be made from high-strength, fire-resistant, and airtight fabric material, designed to withstand high airflow velocities and temperature variations while preventing transmission of vibrations from the AHU to the ductwork. The canvas material shall be reinforced with galvanized steel sheet collars on both ends for secure attachment to the AHU and duct system. The installation shall be carried out considering existing site conditions, ensuring precise alignment with the AHU mouthpieces. The scope includes all necessary clamps, fasteners, and sealing materials to establish a secure, airtight, and leak-free connection. Modification of existing plenum ducts for the fabrication of a Supply Air Plenum to suit the requirements of the installed unit. The existing plenum, which currently has two mouth connections, shall be modified as per the new unit’s configuration to ensure optimal airflow distribution and system efficiency. The modification work shall include cutting, resizing, and reinforcing the plenum as required, ensuring a properly sealed and rigid structure. The fabricated plenum shall be constructed from 22-gauge galvanized steel sheets, with smooth internal surfaces to minimize air resistance and pressure loss. All joints and seams shall be properly sealed with sealant or gasket materials to prevent air leakage. The scope includes all necessary flanges, fasteners, supports, and stiffeners to maintain the plenum’s structural integrity. Supply and installation of 10mm thick acoustic insulation for the newly fabricated ducts, ensuring noise reduction and thermal efficiency in the air distribution system. The insulation material shall be high-density, closed-cell elastomeric foam or equivalent, designed to absorb airborne and structural noise while preventing condensation. The insulation shall be firmly adhered to the internal/external duct surfaces using fire-retardant adhesive, ensuring a secure and long-lasting bond. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of chilled water MS 'C' Class piping inclusive of necessary clamps, pipes joints & fittings. The piping has to be insulated with 36 kg per cum PUF having a minimum thickness of 50 mm and covered with 26 G Aluminium Cladding insulation. The piping assembly shall encompasses valves, strainers, measuring instruments and other necessary components. The piping shall be fully equipped with suitable supports as required, and a rigid puff saddle with a minimum of 40 MM thickness . The pipes shall be duly painted with one coat epoxy primer with a DFT of 40 - 50 microns and two coats of epoxy top coat having a DFT of 80-100 microns (for top coats). The application of the paint has to be as per the manufacturer's recommendation. All works shall be carried out as per the terms and conditions of the tender document.
