CHAPTER I: SITE CLEANING

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared

CHAPTER II: EARTH WORK & EXCAVATION

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

All kinds of soil For all depths

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-incharge

Ordinary rock Lift at all depths

a) Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift for all depths.

b) Extra for compaction of earth work in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density).

a) Supply of moorum obtained from out side MD land and filling in layers not exceeding 20 cms thick, at all heights and depths, in foundation pits, trenches, around structures and foundations, underfloors and other places, including dressing and levelling, watering, compacting etc., complete as per drawings, specifications. (The measurement for payment shall be made as per drawings after deducting 5% for voids).

b) Extra for compaction of earth work in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density).

Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) having CBR Value-25

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres.

CHAPTER - III : ANTITERMITE TREATMENT

Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specified.

a) Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20%

Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST - CONSTRUCTIONAL antitermite treatment (excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) :

b) Along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron us-ing chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc.:

With Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration

c) Treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging with cement mortar 1 :2 (1 cement : 2 Coarse sand) to match the existing floor:

CHAPTER IV: PLAIN, REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window cills, fillets, sunken floor etc upto floor six level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 Coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete.

Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.

a) All works upto plinth level Concrete of M40 grade with minimum cement content of 390 kg/cum

b) All works above plinth level upto floor V level Concrete of M40 grade with minimum cement content of 390 kg/cum

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete for all levels Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing, fixing and stripping off all types of Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all RCC & PCC works at all depths and heights complete as per drawings, specifications and instructions of the Engineer.

a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

b) Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

c) Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform, landings

d) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers, windows cills

e) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

f) Vertical and horizontal fins individually or forming box louvers band, facias and eaves boards

g) Weather shade, Chajjas, corbels etc., including edges

h) Extra over Item above for additional height in centering/shuttering wherever required with adequate bracing, propping etc., including cost of deshuttering/ decentering at all levels over height of 3.50 m for every additional height of 1 m or part thereof : Suspended floors, roofs, landing, beams and balconies (Plan area to be measured)

Providing and laying damp-proof course 40mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 Coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 Coarse sand (zone - III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth.

CHAPTER V: BRICK & STONE MASONARY

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 150mm/230mm/300 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately).

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 100 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Coarse sand ). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work.

Brick work with non modular fly ash bricks conforming to IS:12894, class designation 10 average compressive strength in : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

a) Below Plinth level

b) in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level

Brick edging 7cm wide 11.4 cm deep to plinth protection with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 including grouting with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Fine sand).

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 Coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 Coarse sand)

CHAPTER VI: PLASTERING & SURFACE TREATMENT

6 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Fine sand) including necessary scaffolding and curing etc., complete for concrete surfaces of beams and slabs finished smooth at all levels in ceilings, walls, etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge

a) Providing internal cement plaster 15 mm thk. in single coat in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 Fine sand) to concrete or brick surfaces in all positions including scaffolding and curing complete.

b) Providing internal cement plaster 15 mm thk. in single coat in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 Fine sand) to concrete or brick surfaces in all positions including scaffolding and curing complete.

a) 18 mm cement plaster in two coats, base coat/ under layer of 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 Coarse sand) and a top coat / layer of 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Coarse sand) mixed with integral water proofing compound (measured and paid separately) and finished rough with sponge.

b) Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement plaster work in proportion recommended by the manufacturers :

White washing with lime to give an even shade: New work (three or more coats)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer’s specification. New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 Sqm)

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade: New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

a) Applying priming coat with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works

b) Painting two or more coats on new wood / steel work with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, shade and manufacture, in all shades including preparation of surfaces on wood / Steel surface

Applying priming coat With ready mixed pink or Grey primer of approved brand and manufacture on wood work (hard and soft wood)

18mm thick plasterbands, raised bands in plain cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 Fine sand) as per design etc., complete all as directed.

Providing and fixing of Plaster mesh made out of galvanized iron of nominal thickness 0.35 mm with a Zinc coating of 120 gms per Sqm at the junctions of Masonry and concrete works including tying in position with suitable nails / screws etc., complete and as per manufacturer specification, from M/s. ARPITHA EXPORTS, Bangalore or equivalent.

20mm thick water proof plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Fine sand) in two layers of 10mm each with water proofing compound mixed as per approved manufacturers specifications finished neat with extra cement including benching, haunching and providing proper slope all as directed. (Water proofing compound of make M/s Cico, M/s Fosroc, M/s BASF, M/s Pidilite)

CHAPTER VII: FLOORING

Cement plaster in skirting up to 30 cm height, with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Coarse sand), finished with a floating coat of neat cement. 18 mm thick

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours, shades, except White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sq.m including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.

Floor Tiles size 300 x 300

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete (Size not less than 300mm x 450mm)

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.

a) Size of Tile 600x600 mm in Flooring

b) Using Size of Tile 600x600 mm but in Skirting 100mm height

c) Size of Tile 800x800 mm in Flooring

d) Using Size of Tile 800x800 mm but in Skirting 100mm hight

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

a) Granite stone slab colour black, Cherry/Ruby red Area of slab over 0.50 sqm

Extra for providing opening of required size & shape for wash basin / kitchen sink in kitchen platform, vanity counter and similar location in marble/ Granite/ stone work, including necessary holes for pillar taps etc. including moulding, rubbing and polishing of cut edges etc. complete.

Providing and fixing stone slab with table rubbed, edges rounded and polished, of size 75x50 cm deep and 1.8 cm thick, fixed in urinal partitions by cutting a chase of appropriate width with chase cutter and embedding the stone in the chase with epoxy grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 Coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) as per direction of Engineer-in- charge and finished smooth. White Agaria Marble Stone

Providing & Fixing Marble stone flooring with 18 mm thick marble stone, as per sample of marble approved by Engineer-in-charge, over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Coarse sand) laid and jointed with grey cement slurry, including rubbing and polishing complete with Udaipur green marble / White marble

a) In corridors, Staircase Landings, Pantry Platforms

b) Extra for pre finished nosing to treads of steps of marble stone

c) Extra for marble stone flooring in treads of steps and risers using single length up to 2.00 metre

Providing and laying vaccum dewatered flooring with reinforced cement conctere using a) nominal mix of 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 Coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) b) laid in panels, channel form work including levelling, consolidation with vibrating table, withdrawal of excess water and finishing with compactor / power trowel sprinkling of extra cement, c) cutting grooves of size 4 x 3 x 15mm depth in early set concrete along the length of specified longitudinal and transverse joints (grooves spacing should not exceed 5m in either direction) using diamond point concrete saw cutter,

d) filling the grooves with approved joint filler polysulphide sealent etc., complete all as per specification, e) including hardner Nitoflor HardTop @ 5kg/sqm or Equivalent (Nitoflor Hardtop Standard shall not be used) & ( Reinforcement will be measured and paid seperately)

a) 100 mm thick

Providing and laying 2mm thick self levelling antistatic hard epoxy flooring Nitoflor SL Conductive of Fosroc or approved equivalent by preparing the surface of floor by mechanical grinding and followed by vacuum cleaning to receive the flooring and laying the floor having the following specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge I. Compressive strength shall not be less than 500kg/sqcm in 28 days. II. Abrasion resistance in terms of wearing property as per IS 9162-1979 shall be 0.03mm (30 micron) or less. III. Surface resistivity in anti static conductive type is between 50 to 1000K ohms when measured for surface resistance in accordance with BS2050: 1978 (A-1984) and DIN/EN 1081. (The undercoat resistivity value shall be 3 to 9 K ohms). IV. Providing a copper tape of 0.04mm X 25mm size which shall be placed on the Anti static flooring below undercoat and this copper strip shall be earthed by connecting to copper strip already provided on wall.

a) On existing VDF flooring

b) On existing cement skirting

Eurocon or Chequerred precast cement concrete tiles 22 mm thick in footpath & courtyard, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and cleaning etc. complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand). Medium shade pigment using 50% white cement 50% Grey cement

Providing and laying Granite mirror polished cladding of approved shade and quality over 12mm thick cement mortor 1:3(1:cement :3coarse sand) and jointed with white cement slurry, rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as directed.

CHAPTER VIII: DOORS, WINDOW & WOOD WORKS

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters: 35 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws

a) Providing and fixing Fiber Glass Reinforced plastic (FRP) Door Frames of cross-section 90 mm x 45 mm having single rebate of 32 mm x 15 mm to receive shutter of 30 mm thickness. The laminate shall be moulded with fire resistant grade unsaturated polyester resin and chopped mat. Door frame laminate shall be 2mm thick and shall be filled with suitable wooden block in all the three legs. The frame shall be covered with fiber glass from all sides. M.S. stay shall be provided at the bottom to steady the frame.

b) Providing and fixing to existing door frames. 30 mm thick Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) panelled door shutter of required colour and approved brand and manufacture, made with fire - retardant grade unsaturated polyester resin, moulded to 3 mm thick FRP laminate for forming hollow rails and styles, with wooden frame and suitable blocks of seasoned wood inside at required places for fixing of fittings, cast monolithically with 5 mm thick FRP laminate for panels conforming to IS: 14856, including fixing to frames.

Providing and fixing the following hardware fittings of approved make as per relevant IS including necessary screws etc. all complete.

a) Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete :

ii) 200x10 mm

b) Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISI, IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete.

c) Providing and fixing aluminium handles, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete :

d) Aluminium anodised aldrop of size 300 x 16mm

e) Providing and fixing bright finished brass hanging type floor door stopper with necessary screws, etc. complete.

f) Providing and fixing bright finished 100 mm mortice lock with 6 levers without pair of handles of approved quality for aluminium door, with necessary screws etc complete as per direction of Engineer- in-charge.

g) Providing and fixing IS : 12817 marked stainless steel butt hinges with stainless steel screws etc. complete : 100X58X1.90 mm

h) Rubber Cleats 50mm size

i) Magnetic door catcher

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) :

(Note: The framing members of aluminium partitions shall be fastened to RC Beam / Slab bottom by proper anchor bolts)

a) For fixed portion Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

b) For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item):

With Wire glass panes of 6 mm thickness

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick frameless toughened glass of approved brand and manufacture, including providing and fixing arrangement and all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in panelling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge. Pre-laminated particle board with decorative lamination on one side and balancing lamination on other side

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. Fixed to openings /wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc.

Providing and fixing pressed steel door frames conforming to IS: 4351, manufactured from commercial mild steel sheet of 1.60 mm thickness, including hinges, jamb, lock jamb, bead and if required angle threshold of mild steel angle of section 50x25 mm, or base ties of 1.60 mm, pressed mild steel welded or rigidly fixed together by mechanical means, including M.S. pressed butt hinges 2.5 mm thick with mortar guards, lock strike-plate and shock absorbers as specified and applying a coat of approved steel primer after pre-treatment of the surface as directed by Engineer-in-charge: Profile C Fixing with adjustable lugs with split end tail to each jamb

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer Using M.S. angels 40x40x6 mm for diagonal braces

CHAPTER IX: ROOFING AND WATERPROOFING

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations:

(a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/Sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.

(b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 Coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 Coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.

(c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ Sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer- in-charge.

(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 Coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer- in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.

(e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test.“All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :

A nozzle shall force de-aerated water into the main flow to divert contaminated water through the separating element. A high capacity, conical brass automatic air vent shall be installed on the top of the vessel for air discharge. Drain valve for removal of floating debris and dirt. Heavier than water dirt particles shall be removed via a blow down valve on the base of the vessel whilst ferrous particles down to 4 µm shall be captured by a magnetic device in the lower part of the vessel. The GI electrode shall be surrounded with 50 kg JAM Fill compound to provide maximum contact between the electrode and JAM Fill Compound. Backfill compound should be eco-friendly and having RoHs certification. GI Electrode Earthing should be maintenance free and dose not required regular manual addition of water. Supply, installation, Testing and Commissioning of 3 phase and Neutral 415V 4 wire Free Standing Floor mounted MV panel made out of 14 SWG MS sheet after seven tank process and painting with Epoxy powder coating. The panel shall consist of suitable rating TPN Aluminium busbar (at the rating of 0.8A/Sq.mm) supported with DMC/ SMC barriers and color coded with Heat shrinkable sleeves.The Metering shall be provided as specified. CHAPTER XXXIII: AREA DEVELOPMENT

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift for all depths.

Supply of moorum obtained from out side MD land and filling in layers not exceeding 20 cms thick, at all heights and depths, in foundation pits, trenches, around structures and foundations, underfloors and other places, including dressing and levelling, watering, compacting etc., complete as per drawings, specifications. (The measurement for payment shall be made as per drawings after deducting 5% for voids).

Extra for compaction of earth work in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density).

CHAPTER XXXIV: ARBORICULTURE:

Avenue Trees. Clearing the area, digging of Pits of size 1m x 1mx1m in all type of soil/ soft rock and refiling the same with excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio 4:1 (4 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of manure by volume), flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any with all leads and lifts , refilling the mixture into pits and flooding with water trees planted at 10 mtr distance in both sides of roads including plantaion of desired trees complete all as directed. Trees should be of height in range of 1.5m-1.8m. All the trees should be well flourished, healthy, free from any diseases etc. Delonix, Regia, Rain Tree, Alestonia, Pogenia Galba, Neem, Bauhinia, Delbergia, Olives, Sisoo, Acaci, Auriculiformis, Bottle Brush, Ashoka safed sares or similar including stacking of trees all complete.

Shrubs. Clearing the area, digging Pits of size 0.6m x 0.6mx0.6m in all type of soil/ soft rock and refiling the same with excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio 4:1 (4 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of manure by volume) flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any with all leads and lifts , refilling the mixture into pits mixing of anti termite & chemical etc as required and flooding with water, shrubs planted at 5-7 mtr distance to be planted to cover the open spaces including supply and plantation of shrubs 400mm-600mm height of Bogainvilla, Jatropha, Narium, Oliender, Hamelia, Roses, Ixora, Hibiscus, Cassia, Ehauri, Kair, Akh, Jhal or similar as approved.

Flowering Ground Creeper. Clearance of the area and digging up to 0.30 m, refilling with agriculture soil and cattle manure in 4:1 ratio. Provision of anti-termite treatment at plantation

Hedges/Borders. Clearing the area, digging Pits of size 0.6m deep x 0.45m wide X RM in length all type of soil/ soft rock and refiling the same with excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio 4:1 (4 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of manure by volume) flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any with all leads and lifts , refilling the mixture into pits mixing of anti termite & chemical etc as required and flooding with water including supply and plantation of approved hedge species like Goldenduranta / Kair / Akh / Jhal / Ber / chlerodendron Inermie sapling in staggard condition of 300mm height after the plantation, about 1-2 years old with well grown, disease/ inset free and plantation the minimum 7 number of sapling per running meter or equivalent as approved complete.

Lawn Bermuda. Clearing the area,removal of weed roots, debris etc., digging upto 0.30 m and provision of anti-termite treatment, refilling with good soil and well decomposed cattle manure in 4:1 ratio and rough dressing. Supply and planting of approved species of lawn bermuda. Grass should be healthy and free from any diseases and weeds. Maintenance includes regular watering, de-weeding, manuring with neem cake mixture and fertilizer. Spraying of insecticide and fungicide as and when required for a period of one year.

Lawn Carpet. Clearing the area, removal of weed roots, debris etc., digging upto 0.30 m and provision of anti-termite treatment, refilling with good soil and well decomposed cattle manure in 4:1 ratio and rough dressing. Supply and planting of approved species of carpet grass. Grass should be healthy and free from any diseases and weeds. Maintenance includes regular watering, de-weeding, mowing, rolling, manuring with cattle manure and neem cake mixture and fertilizer, spraying of insecticide and fungicide as and when required for a period of one year.

Seasonal Flower Beds. Digging upto 0.30 m depth and refilling with good agriculture soil and cattle manure in 4:1 ratio. Preparation of beds, supply and planting of dwarf double flower hybrid cannas and seedlings / suckers / Rhizomes of hybrids and varieties of seasonal flowers as per season. Maintenance Includes, regular watering, de-weeding, loosening of soil fortnightly, manuring with cattle manure and fertilizer @ 200 gms/sm. Trimming, pruning and staking, spraying of insecticide and fungicide as and when required for a period of one year.

PVC Planter Box. Supply of PVC planter box with tray suitable for 12” to 14” size earthen pots.

Potted Plants. Supply of potted plants with Fiber pot of size 12" plants like Areca plam/ Arocaria /Dracena Veriteis /Phoenix Plam/ Cycu Revoluta / Fercaria /Ficus blackiana / Dresenia / Crotons / Aglomema etc

Excavation for Landscaping. Earth work in excavation in any type of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottom, getting out, stacking the excavated soil and filling the same in layer where ever required in plantation area and consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering. The disposal of surplus soil as directed with lead upto 100 m and disposed soil to be neatly levelled and dressed.

Agriculture Soil for Landscape. Supply & arranging of good Agriculture soil of about 6.5 pH for the landscaping works

Brick Edging. Supply and fixing of wire-cut bricks with cement and sand mortar in 1: 6 ratio on either sides of the seasonal flower beds/landscape and colouring as and when required for a period of one month.

Providing and fixing Gunmetal sprinklers with 25mm inlet, suitable for sprinking water upto 12mtr radius at 2 Kg/cm², nozzle etc complete

Providing and fixing valve opener for sprinkler 450mm length, 25mm dia.

Maintenance of shrubs by regular watering, manuring weeding, trimming etc., for a period of 3 (Three) months complete as per specification.
