SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

PEG TABLE (FD-384) DIMENSION;Overall size shall be 450mm long,300mm wide and 380mm high. DESCRIPTION:Legs shall be of teak wood of section 30mmx50mm.The legs shall be 362mm high.5mmx5mm in section groove shall be provided on the top of legs which shall be visible when placed in position.Two nos top rails of section 20mmx40mm of teak wood shall be provided connecting legs.Two bottom rails of size 20mmx40mm shall be fixed between the legs .A centre stiffeners of size 20x40mm shall be provided at centre of side bottom rails for extra support irrespective of what is shown on drg.Top of table shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board of approved shade.4mm thick teak wood beading shall be provided alround the top edges of table. FINISH:All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be french polished with high lacquer finish.Rest all as per drg.

CHAIR DINING WITH CUSHIONED (FD/MAP-II/04) Overall size shall be 950mm high,450mm wide and 450mm deep.The size of the legs shall be 40x50mm .Front and side rails shall be of size 25x65mm.Stiifeners of size 20mmx25mm three in nos shall be fixed as specified in drg..75x75x25 teak wood stopper shall be fixed with main frame and legs four nos each in every corner for the support of the cushion and seat ply.75mm thick 40 density cushion of approved foam(Kurlon/sleepwell) covered with approved tapestry cloth shall be fixed over 12mm thick ply as specified in drg.Side frame of back of the chair shall be of section 40x50mm..Four teak wood vertical stiffeners of section 20x30mm shall be fixed in back of chair. 25mm dia and 25mm high nylon buffers shall be provided to bottom of all legs.The curved teak wood back shall be of section 30x45mm.All sizes shall be taken as stated in specification, irrespective of what is shown on drg. All wood surfaces shall be lacquer polished with high gloss finish of walnut shade.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE DINING 4 PERSONS (FD/MAP-II/03) (a) Table dining shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg & as specified in particular specification and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Timber: All wood work shall be kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated Ist class hard wood (Teak) throughout except the top which shall be made of melamine faced pre-laminated MDF board 18/ 19mm thick bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges. Exposed edges of board shall be covered with 6mm thick teak wood beading and shall be fixed as specified. (c) Finishes: All timber / plywood / particle board surfaces exposed to view shall be French polished except inner side of top which shall be painted with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (Shade as approved by GE) Ist quality over a coat of pink primer. (d) All other items / fittings shall be as shown on drawing and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms / pattern.

SIDE BOARD (FD-1112) (a) TIMBER : All wood work shall be kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated Ist class hard wood (Teakwood). (b) BOARD : (i) 18/19 mm thick melamine faced pre-laminated particle board bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges for top, front shutter, bottom and sides. (ii) 18/19mm thick and 12 mm thick melamine faced pre-laminated particle board bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges for shelves and back respectively. (c) EDGING : Exposed edges of board shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood edging and shall be fixed as specified and directed. (d) PLY : 6mm thick ply for bottom of drawer shall be provided. (e) KNOB : 38mm dia anodised metalic knob (teak colour) as shown on drawings shall be provided. (f) POLISH : All exposed wood work and teak veneered surfaces shall be french polished. (g) REST : All as shown on drawing.

TEAPOY (600mmx450mmx540mm) (FD-382) (a) Teapoy shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg & as specified in particular specification and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Timber: All wood work shall be of kiln seasoned Ist class hard wood (Teak) throughout except the top, which shall be of melamine faced pre-laminated particle board 18mm thick exterior grade having ISI marking on the edges. Exposed edging of board shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood edging around as directed by GE. (c) Rubber Ring: Rubber ring shall be hard and of best quality as approved by GE and shall be provided under each leg and fixed with 25mm long steel screws of suitable size. (d) Finishes: All wooden surfaces exposed to view shall be French polished except inner side of top which shall be painted with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (Shade as approved by GE) Ist quality over a coat of pink primer. (e) All other items / fittings shall be as shown on drawing and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms / pattern.

TABLE DRESSING LADIES INCLUDING STOOL (FD/MAP-II/07) The overall size of the table dressing shall be 1150mm long 380mm wide and 1700mm high. The sides, top ,back and front of the base unit shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board. The bottom of the side units shall be of 12mm thick commercial plywood. The sides and back drawers shall be of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF ,bottom of the drawers shall be of 6mm thick commercial ply whereas the front of the drawers shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board.5mm thick electro copper plated mirror shall be fixed over 6mm thick plywood back. The plywood shall be fixed on two vertical hardwood member of size 45mmx35mm .a horizontal support of size 30mmx20mm shall be provided in between two vertical members. The Overall size of the stool shall be 440mm long 350mm wide and 425mm high. The four sides shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF .The top of the stool shall be of 12mm thick plywood openable as shown in drg.Four heavy duty revolving nylon double wheels shall be provided at base below the 6mm base ply fixed over wooden runner 20mmx20mm.The seat of the stool shall be 75mm high ,made of foam 40 density covered with tapestry cloth as approved by Engr-In-charge/GE.Rest all as per drg.

CHAIR DINING MAP(FD/MAP-II/05) Overall size shall be 890mm high, 440mm wide and 430mm deep. The size of the legs shall be 30x55mm .Front and side rails shall be of size 30x65mm.Stiifeners of size 20mmx25mm three in nos shall be fixed as specified in drg.One stiffener of size 40mmx40mm shall be fixed in between the two opp rails of the seat for providing extra support to PVC seat. PVC seat 4mm thick of PPCP material and weight not less than 0.50 kgs with perforated holes shall be fixed inside the frame of seat with proper screws. The height of the seat shall be at 460mm high from ground. The size of the teak wood back shall be 45x15mm made out of 45x35mm section.25mm dia and 25mm high nylon buffers shall be provided to bottom of all legs. All wood surfaces shall be lacquer polished with high gloss finish of natural shade. Rest all as per drg

TABLE CENTRE (900mmx450mmx400mm) (FD-393) (a) Table centre shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg & as specified in particular specification and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Timber: All wood work shall be of kiln seasoned Ist class hard wood (Teak) throughout except the top, which shall be of melamine faced pre-laminated MDF board 18/19mm thick exterior grade having ISI marking on the edges. Exposed edging of board shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood edging alround as directed by GE. (c) Rubber Ring: Rubber ring shall be hard and of best quality as approved by GE and shall be provided under each leg and fixed with 25mm long steel screws of suitable size. SCH 'A' PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE)

ALMIRAH MEDIUM STEEL WITH SHELVES (FD-1032) Overall size shall be 1270mm high,765mm wide and 440mm deep. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel base welded to bottom of almirah and shall be 100mm high. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick for channel base. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of 765mm length and shall be up to full width of 440mm of almirah. Top, sides, back, bottom and front of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Three shelves equally spaced making four compartments shall be provided and shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet.Front shutters shall have two leaves. a steel chromium plated handle 100mm long shall be provided to the shutter. A three way locking device shall be provided to front shutters. PVC sheet of size equal to size of leg base shall also be fixed under the legs of almirah irrespective of what is shown on drg .All joints and welding, fixing shall be done according standard workmanship. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of granular silver grey enamel paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces Rest all as per drgs

ALMIRAH LARGE STEEL WITH SHELVES (FD-1031) (a) Almirah large steel shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Almirah large steel shall be manufactured out of plain black MS sheet of thickness as shown on drawing. A 3 way locking device shall be provided to front door shutter with 10 mm MS round bar. Main door handle shall be 125 mm long steel CP handle and six levers locking device with keys in duplicate for each almirah. Lock shall be of make Godrej/Harrsion/Link as approved of GE in writing. (c) Bending, welding, riveting, bolting, lapping, turning and other items/ fitting shall be done/provided as specified in relevant IS and as per trade engineering norms and pattern. (d) Finishes: - All internal/external exposed steel surfaces shall be given two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Olive green/Smoke grey as approved by GE) over a coat of red oxide primer (Spray painting). (e) All other items / fittings shall be as shown on drawing and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms / pattern.

RACK SHOE STEEL (FD/E6/MAP/02(R)) Overall dimensions: 700mmx300mmx880mm The legs should be made up of 25 mm dia PS Pipe of 18 gauge. The 5 shelves of the rack shall be of 20 mm dia MS Pipe of 18 gauge welded to legs.The shelves shall have 3mm dia MS rod 9Nos in widthwise and 3 Nos in length wise welded to 20 mm dia shelf frame FInish: Pretreated with epoxy powder coated over baked with warm grey color

LOCKER BED SIDE STEEL (FD-1029)l DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 760mm long, 600mm wide and 1100mm high. DESCRIPTION: The locker shall be made of mild steel sheet 1mm thick.20 mm dia conduit pipe shall be chrome plated with wall thickness of 1.6 mm shall be fixed with side sockets.Two handles chromium plated 100mm long shall be fixed to shutters with necessary riveting . One hasp and staple 75mm long shall also be fixed to shutters with riveting.The left shutters shall be provided with 100mm long tower bolt inside at upper and lower ends also.The locker shall be provided with compartments as shown in drgs made of 1mm MS sheet. FINISH: All steel surface internally and externally, exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of green hammer paint internally and externally after properly smoothened the surface with sand paper and applying putty.A Mark of MES shall also be provided at top left corner of front shutter of visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all specifications are as per drg .

TABLE BED SIDE MAP (FD/E6/MAP-15(R)) The overall size of the table bed side shall be 450mm x 450mm x 600mm from rear and 450mm x 450mm x 500mm from front as shown in drg.The entire frame of table bed side shall be made up of 18mm MS square pipe (18 Gauge) duly black powder coated. The two sides and top shall be made up of 18mm thick prelamainted MDF board exterior grade. The Back of the table except the top portion as shown in drg shall be provided with 6mm commercial plywood BWR grade duly screwed to frame. The two sides, back and bottom of drawers of the table shall be made up of 12mm thick commercial plywood irrespective of what is shown on drg, except the front side which shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board exterior grade. The drawers shall be made functional on telescopic channales fixed inside the tables shown on drg.The drawers of the tables shall be provided with 100mm long CP handles .Rest all as per drg.

CHARPOY WITH HARD TOP (FD/MAP-II/01) Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. Two long rails and two short rails shall be of 25mmx65mmx16 gauge MS rectangular pipe .The legs shall be of size 32mmx32mmx16 gauge welded to long and short rails as shown on drg.Two stiffeners of size 25mmx25mmx16 gauge shall be provided in equidistant between two opposite long rails. Six number cleat of size 25mmx60mmx6mm shall be welded with frame to support ply. Two stiffeners joining legs of size 25mmx25mmx16 gauge shall be provided at 150mm from ground level .12mm thick commercial plywood shall be provided for top as shown on drg with proper nut and bolt .one nut and bolt shall also be provided at centre of each stiffeners for fixing the plywood irrespective of what is shown on drg..PVC hard rubber shoes shall be fixed at bottom of each leg. All steel surfaces shall be painted with synthetic enamel black in color before applying a coat of primer. Rest all as per drg

CHAIR CB STEEL WITH ARMS (FD-75(M)) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 535mm wide,560mm deep and 900mm high. DESCRIPTION:Seat shall be 455mm high from floor. Conduit pipe used for frame shall be 20mm dia steel tubing having wall thickness 1.6mm Welding of frame where required shall be as directed by GE/BSO and in running welding grinded to give smooth surface. .The wooden seat frame shall be further supported by steel strips measuring 19mm x 3mm at the front and the rear and each strip shall be welded to ERW frame.The seat and back shall be fixed by providing suitable nut bolts and washers..The arms shall be of PPCP material in lieu of wooden and shall be fixed with screws from beneath.The Seat and Back should be made up of cushion foam of density 40 D of Make as approved by GE/Engineer-in-Charge over 12mm ply at bottom with a stiffner of flat iron of size as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.Bottom of legs shall have hard rubber shoes. FINISH: All iron surfaces exposed to direct view shall be painted with two coats of enamel grey paint over a coat of primer after preparation of steel surfaces. Painting shall be done with spray machine to achieve smooth surfaces.

CHAIR WRITING CUSHIONED (FD/E6/MAP/12)) The frame of the chair shall be of MS tubular frame powder coated ,cantilever type of size 25mmx10mm in section. Back form shall be designed with contoured lumber support for extra comfort.120mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with superior quality fabric and moulded polyurethane foam with PVC lipping alround shall be provided at seat and back.PU arms shall be of superior quality and reinforced with MS insert.It shall be scratch and wheather resistant..Steel portion of chair shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of black colour over a coat of primer.Rest all specifications are as per drg and directed by Engr-In-Charge

CHAIR COMPUTER (FD/E6/MAP/01) The Base pedestal assembly of chair computer shall be of dia 700mm and 1060mm high .The Chrome Pedsatal shall be provided with 05 Nos of Nylon Wheels fitted into each prong for holding the castors. The seat and back of the chair computer shall be made of 12mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam. The back form shall be designed with contour lumber support for extra comfort with PVC lipping allround.The back rest shall be adjustable and consist of drop lift mechanism and shall be adjusted in the insert .It shall be scratch and weather resistant. The Back shall be made up of mesh Fabric Rest all as per drg.and as per sample approved by BSO/GE

TABLE COMPUTER (FD/E6/MAP/03) Overall size shall be 900mm long,561.20 mm wide and 750mm high.All prelaminated particle board used in manufacturing of top ,shelves,drawers,tray shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated extrior grade board.The frame of table shall be of 25MM thick.The top of table shall be provided with 4mm thick teak wood beading.The legs shall be made out of 25mmx50mm MS rectangular CR pipe of 18 guage.Each leg shall be provided with rectangular PVC cover made to shape on front sides only.The legs shall also be provided with nylon buffers .Rest all as per drg.

TEAPOY VARANDAH (FD/E6/MAP/17) Overall size shall be 700mm long 400mm wide and 540mm high. The legs, top centre stiffener, top rails and bottom rails shall be of 18mm square MS pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm.Base tray made of 5mm dia MS bar 12x10 nos at equidistant shall be made and fixed as shown on drg.The top shall be of 18mm thick pre laminated particle board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Hard rubber shoe shall also be fixed to the bottom of each leg.The steel frame shall be painted with synthetic enamel black colour.Rest all as per drg.
