Replacement of damaged drums, idlers etc. of various Conveyors in NP / Offsite Area, FACT-CD.

Replacement of drive drums, tripper drums tail drums, bend pulleys, snub pulleys etc. of bagging plant / product conveyors. Work involves: Spare drum shall be transported to work site from Off site / stores / workshop and positioned at the required place. The belt shall be arrested properly with belt clamps, after lifting the gravity weight. The damaged drum with Plummer block and bearings shall be dismantled and taken to Offsite Mechanical. New bearings and plummer block at both side shall be fixed properly with lubricant. If required, zero speed sensor shall be provided for tail end drum. Release belt clamps, provide required gravity weight and service the conveyor on load, with out any sway. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the coupling / decoupling and alignment of drums.

Replacement of troughing idlers in bagging plant / product conveyors. Work involves: The required troughing idlers shall be transported from Plant area / stores to site. The damaged troughing idlers of conveyors in NP offsite / bagging plant area shall be replaced, as per the instructions of Engineer - in -Charge. Damaged troughing idlers shall be transported to off site / scrap yard. .

Replacement of return idlers / clamps of bagging plant / product conveyors. Work involves: The required return idlers / clamps shall be transported from Plant area / stores to site. The damaged return Idlers / clamps of conveyors in NP offsite / bagging plant area shall be replaced, as per the instructions of Engineer - in -Charge. Damaged return Idlers / clamps shall be transported to off site / scrap yard.

Servicing of damaged return idlers of 750mm wide bagging plant / product conveyors. Work involves : Re usable rubber disc shall be removed from the damaged return idlers. Return idlers shall be serviced / repaired by replacing the rubber discs / bearings as per the instructions of the Engineer-in -Charge. The serviced return idlers shall be kept properly at Off site area as spare.

Replacement / servicing bearings of various conveyor drums. Work involves: The belt shall be arrested properly with belt clamps, after lifting the gravity weight. The bearings / plummer blocks at one side / both side of drum shall be replaced with new / serviced one. Incase, no bearing damage is detected and is certified by the Engineer In Charge, the same bearing shall be serviced with new greese. The drum shall be aligned / fixed to the connecting part, as per instruction of the Engineer-in -Charge. Release belt clamps, provide required gravity weight and service the conveyor on load, with out any sway.
