The agency shall not be blacklisted by any other Government Department/Agency. The agency shall furnish a self-declaration/certificate to this effect

In case the agency fails to provide proper service or acts negligently, the security deposit furnished by the agency shall be forfeited and necessary action shall be taken blacklist the agency

The agency shall be bound to supply food items at the rates fixed by the State/District Office, as per the orders issued by the concerned authorities.

The selected tenderer shall provide food supply servicesfrom the date of issue of the work order ie01.03.2025to28.02.2026. If instructions are received from the HeadOffice or iftheHonble Chief Executive Officer ZillaPanchayat, Ramanagara District so desires, the selectedtenderer shall be prepared to temporarily continue the food supply at theexisting rates. Failing this the security deposit shall be forfeited

The agency which has been awarded the tender shall alone be responsible for executing the tender supply order The tender shall not be transferred sub contracted to any other agencyperson

The agency shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the agreement

If the tenderer fails to comply with the prescribed terms and conditions the authority competent to issue the tender supply order shall have the power to cancel the tender and forfeit the security deposit without issuing any prior notice

Bills shall be paid subject to the availability of Government grants/funds

Vegetables and food grains of good quality shall be used for preparation of meals. Proper priority shall be given to cleanliness and safety while preparing and serving food.

It shall be ensured that the utensils, cooking vessels, food grains and other materials used every day are clean and free from dirt, contamination and insects/pests

Food shall be prepared mandatorily within the residential school premises.

Clean and appropriate equipment shall be used for washing rice, vegetables and pulses, and only clean drinking water shall be used.

Cut vegetables shall not be placed directly on the floor or on printed papers/newspapers under any circumstances.

The agency entrusted with the food supply shall use good-quality edible oil, rice, vegetables and food grains for preparation of meals.

In case of any discrepancy, negligence or untoward incident, the agency entrusted with food supply shall be directly responsible. In case of improper management or negligent conduct by the agency, criminal proceedings may be initiated against the agency as per the applicable rules/law.

The agency supplying food to the residential school shall make its own arrangements for all equipment required for cooking and food preparation. It has been clearly informed that Samagra Shikshana Karnataka shall not provide any such equipment.

Drinking water shall be tested periodically through locally authorized water-testing centres. Proper records/registers shall also be maintained in the residential schools

Safety measures prescribed under the applicable rules shall be strictly followed at all places where cooking and food preparation are carried out.

The agency selected for food supply shall appoint the required Head Cook and Assistant Cooks at its own responsibility.

The agency shall pay the salary/wages of the cooks and assistant cooks through bank accounts every month

The prescribed honorarium shall be 12,100 per month for the Head Cook and 11,000 per month for each of the two Assistant Cooks. The agency shall take this into consideration while submitting the rate quotation/tender. Under no circumstances shall the Head Cook or Assistant Cooks be paid less than the prescribed amount

Every month, the agency shall pay the wages of the Head Cook and Assistant Cooks through bank transfer and submit copies of the relevant bank transaction/payment records to the Head Teacher. The signatures of the cooks shall also be obtained and proper records shall be maintained in the residential school.
