Excavating in trenches manually in soft/loose soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for taking out any type of water tubing, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out

Excavating in trenches by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator ) in any type of soil ditto as par Item No 1.

Returning, filling in any type of soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point.

Taking up cast iron (CI)/MS pipe of 80mm bore water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends or lead joints of any size all as specified and dirercted.

M&L in repair the leakage of lead joints for CI/DI pipe of 80mm bore incl bailing out the line water after burning out the existing lead from joints and using extra lead and spun yarn as required and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be included in quoted rates.

M&L repair/rectification of leakage and maintenance of main line/distribution line of size 80mm bore DI/CI pipe line including neccessary fittings i.e. coller/short pieces of pipes, detachable joint, clamps including nuts and bolts all as directed. Note : (i) Unit rate of this item also including the cost of earth work and pumping out the water/water mixed soil for carrying out the repair. (ii) Leakage shall be attended on priority basis and must be start within two hours of intimation, any delay in rectification may be penalised. (iii) T&P required for carrying out the repair shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Note: Cost of cutting/leaving/forming chases, holes etc through walls, floor, plinth protection, roof etc with providing clamp/shaddles/locking/fasteners sundry items etc as required and making good the surface to match as per existing shall deemed to be included in quoted rate by the tenderer.

Dismantling of stone massonary valve chamber of size 1050 x 750 x 1000mm and pattern and at any position and construction of valve chamber with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate stone massonary built in cement mortar 1:6 with plastering of 10mm thickness internally and 15mm thickness externally above and below ground level with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate incl frame made of angles iron of size matches with the internal size of the valve chamber and chamber cover made of solid PVC of superior quality and painting the steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work, excavation etc all as specified and directed.
