Outsourcing for operation of DG set 2x750 KVA installed at main power house (round the clock) and 1x 320 KVA installed in high precision workshop (during office hrs from 0900 hrs to 1730 hrs) including all related panels, installed in new technical complex power house at Defence Lab Jodhpur, in three shift (round the clock 24 hours) during failure of electric supply in three shift each shift of 08 Hrs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. DHPPN will be issued to contractor under Schedule'B' free for filling only. Operator shall have ITI passed (Electrician/Diesel Operator) and certificate shall be submitted before start of work 08 hours duration and 03 operator shall be deployed for 3 shift in 24 hrs (One in Each Shift). DG set installed in operation state along with an inventory of various items equipment and electrical fittings will be handed over for proper accounting and up keep at the time of commencement of the contract. The taking over plants on expiry of contract shall be all as per inventory and any damage/loss to plants and equipments shall be made good by contractor before handing over the plant. In case of any dispute decision of AGE(I) will be final and binding. The checks, inspection shall be carried out as under:- (a) Checking and adjusting of valve tappet clearance (b) Checking of Engine lubrication system, fuel system, air system, cooling system, mechanical adjustments/rectification and electrical system. (c) Checking of lube oil filter if necessary (d) cleaning of fuel pre & fine filter (e) Contractor should maintain proper printed log sheet as per sample given by the department. (f) Cleaning of air filter (g) Checking of 'V' belt and adjusting the tension (h) Checking of exhaust turbo charger (i) Checking and cleaning of breather pipes tightness. (j) Checking of alternator terminals and cable lligheners etc (k) Checking of safety controls operation (l) Checking of speed governors and engine shut down for proper functioning (m) Checking of proper functioning of self starter and battery charging (n) Carrying out preventive maintenance, checking as per manufacturer's recommendations and to make proper functioning/serviceability of RPM meter and hour meter and all engine parameters, gauges throughout the CA period. Cleaning of plant/ power house including near by area upto 6 Mtr from plant/ DG Sets shall be carried out by the contractor as described below, without any extra cost to government.

(i) Daily cleaning of DG sets, LT/HT panels etc. (ii) Daily cleaning of walls and floors of DG Room, Panel room, Duty rooms including internal electrical fittings and fixtures. Penalty of Rs 1000 per week in case of not maintaining DG set room as specified and directed by engr-in-charge. (iii) Daily cleaning of surrounding of power house premises (iv) Particular of DG set and connected accessories shall be all as specified under relevent PS clause. (v) Contractor should maintain proper printed log sheet as per sample given by the department. (vi) Staff shall wear uniform indicating name of staff and firm name. If staff is found without uniform penalty @ 500/- shall be imposed. (vii) Log book of each DG set shall be maintained, shift wise and put up to Engineer-in-Charge and daily checked and signed by JE E/M. Carrying out preventive maintenance, checking as per manufacturer's recommendations and to make proper functioning/ serviceability of RPM meter and hour meter and all engine parameters gauges throughout the CA period as required.

Minimum Wage of tradesman for semi-skilled electrician/ Operator as per prevailing Notification by the Govt of India or State Govt whichever is higher.

Employer's contribution towards Employees Provident Fund as per prevailing Notification by the Govt of India. Note:- The amount against this items shall be payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of EPF for the workmen i.e. proof of payment.

Contribution towards Employees State Insurance as per prevailing Notification by the Govt of India or State Govt whichever is high. Note:- The amount against this item shall be payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of contribution towards ESIC for the workmen i.e. proof of payment.

Contribution towards Bonus as per prevailing Notification/ directions by the Govt of India. Note:- The amount against this item shall be payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the workmen i.e. proof of payment.

Over head & Profit of the contractor on Item No 1.02 to 1.05

Labour welfare cess as per prevailing Notification by the Govt of India on Item No. 1.02 to 1.06

Note for item No. 1.02 to 1.07 above:- Rate quoted by the contractor against the item No. 1.02 to 1.07 above which corresponds to/ works out to lower than the corresponding minimum rates of wages/ subscription, contribution towards Employees provident fund (EPF), Employees State Insurance Corporation, Bonus; Overhead & profit and labour welfare cess prevailing on the bid submission end date shall be treated as Non-Bonafide and such bid shall not be considered for acceptance.

Supply only Battery water with electrolyte mix complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply only 1.50M battery lead with negative & positive brass terminals of suitable size, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable battery 12 V, 150 AH with maintenance free battery initially charged. Make :- EXIDE / AMRON / LUMINOUS

Taking down existing earthing and M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE :(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-( ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth strip. Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iii) Item includes cost of earth wire up to 7.5 m Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Supply & Fixing in repair HRC Fuse 100 Amp suitable for AMF/LT Panel , complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Engine oil 20 W 40 turbo synthetic superior quality engine oil suitable for Kirloskar/cumins/Joyti DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. (Note:-The make of engine oil used in DG Set should be as per recommendation of Manufacturer of DG Set)
